The one reason we have stayed during this time is because my child's teacher was great, and I didn't want to pull her out. There has been a lot of turnover in the classrooms as well, but for the most part, it did not have a major impact on my child. Why have we stayed? No other centers have the outdoor recreational area or the menu that the Learning Tree offer. We get daily emails and photos, and also have the availability to see how their day is going as far an naps and meals. This is helpful to know what we are facing during pick up. Also, as I stated above, my child has had amazing teachers during her time there.

We were in Detroit for…read morea wedding and needed child care for six rambunctious kids ranging from 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old. We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare! We can't thank you enough.

We had both of our little ones at All-Stars, we had every teacher and teachers aide and we have…read moreloved all of them. Our years there were full of great experiences. All of the staff were wonderful to our family, our children genuinely love them and vice versa. At 4 my son surprised us with having learned how to ride a 2 wheel bike there. He went from All-Stars to kindergarten knowing simple math, how to use a computer and how to write sentences. My daughter just finished her last year and beyond the traditional things she learned she really enjoyed cooking, going into nature and she came home talking about mindfulness (which I loved!) We will really miss the staff and are so grateful for our time here.

Every…read moreday my 5 year old walks in he is greeted with a huge hug from his teacher, who has gone leaps and bounds beyond what previous daycares have done in getting him ready for kindergarten. I have a challenging two year old as well, and the discipline is right in line with what I would expect from a daycare.
