And it was immediately apparent that Brighton Montessori offered this. We looked at a few different options before choosing BMS and there was a startling difference. In the other daycare centers, the children were running around yelling, a few crying, one kid was climbing up a bookshelf, etc. When we came and looked at BMS, the kids were playing quietly in groups with their "work." Within a few weeks of my son attending BMS he was picking up his toys, pushing in his chair and saying "thank you." All that said, this is not to imply that BMS is strict and quiet! The children are allowed to be children! They run around outside. They sing songs loudly! Everyday my son comes home and proudly show me his artwork. They play play play! The teachers are also fantastic. They are some of the most gentle, kind and compassionate people I've met. My son adores them. He gives them hugs when he leaves for the day. He arrives at school and feels comfortable telling them all the things he did that weekend. He respects his teachers but sees them as allies, not a threat. This is entirely due to their respectful interactions with our children. I could go on and on. There are halloween parades. Christmas cookie parties. They help you with potty training (if desired). They have communal lunch and snack time. It's just a wonderful, caring, family-oriented environment. Please go visit and see for yourself!

We have since left due to many issues with the owners NOT the teachers. Writing a bad review is not something I ever do, but I feel like it's necessary after all that happened to warn other parents. We had many issues with our checks being deposited whenever they felt convenient for them (over the course of a year)- we are talking a month later (they do not offer online payments).When the issue was discussed, and I stated that the parents are expected to pay each week, therefore they should be depositing our checks weekly, the response was less than friendly. Stating I needed to be better at balancing a checkbook, even though they were being extremely unprofessional. In addition, prices have increased 3 times in the past year (with very little explanation). Many parents were frustrated but understood due to inflation and figured the teachers deserved more money; so we stayed because the care our children were receiving was phenomenal. Summer came and the lunches WE PAY FOR in our weekly tuition were taken away and we were required to provide lunch for our children, while STILL paying the same tuition. When brought to their attention, there was no straight answer given. Where was our money going? Not to the teachers like we assumed, so where?The final straw was them taking away the toddler room and moving all the young toddlers into the room with the babies. This was not only unsafe, but an unrealistic expectation for the teachers. I felt like what once was an amazing center has turned into a chaotic, money hungry business. The teachers are underpaid, understaffed and overworked. The happiness in the center had dissipated and we finally had enough and left, along with MANY other families that have been there for years. The amazing teachers that we love so dearly have also left (these teachers have all been here for years and were long-term employees). There is a REASON why parents and teachers are not staying at this center. It is saddening, disheartening and was a tough decision to leave. I wish that the owners would open their eyes and realize that they are the problem and are the reason for staff leaving and parents pulling their children from this center.

The girls have not had a relationship with their Nanny since when they were just infants. Knowing the environment at home is at a 'good place' is an invaluable aspect when we are away at work. My wife and I are both working through this Pandemic as our industry's are qualified as an Essential Service. I especially am away from home more as my company is a partner with FEMA to transport aid/supplies to areas of need during this Pandemic. We have used a nanny in our home for 15 years. Some have been found by a family friend, word-of-mouth, Care and Nanny Services. As with any family who utilize a Nanny there are stories. But the story for us has stopped with Lena. Comparing our experiences with what we have encountered with Lena is like night and day. Knowing first hand the service you will experience with Lena is very hard to come by. My only regret is that we did not find each other sooner, like 9 years ago. But we would not have found _________ and the girls enjoy her very much. The difference in Lena's Service from other Nanny Companies is her dedication to 'the match'. This is not a, "quick, let's fill a home with a warm body type of service". Nor should it be. Do personalities conflict sometimes, absolutely. But the choices placed in front of us was comforting to minimize this. After the match Lena remained in contact and does what she says she will do. I have had multiple conversations with teddy bears... the owner, the director, teachers, the kids grandmother who I believe has custody, every one! they were suppose to keep said child away from my daughter in separate groups a safety plan was in place they admitted to not following. friday I got a call at exactly 4pm (the time they may come together at the end of the day due to staffing shortages so i try to pick her up asap after fun field trips) that my daughter was "accidentally injured" by another student...she didnt cry (which she later told me she did SO WHY LIE) and shes fine. That means they are lieing to me about everything and they just dont care. so did they came together before the designated time or the bully came strait for my 6 year old daughter at 4pm. ellianah had a bloody mouth because this child smacked her metal thermas water bottle into her mouth while she was drinking. WHY IS THIS TOLERATED? WHY IS THIS CHILD ALLOWED TO BULLY STUDENTS WITH NO CONSEQUENCES! you would think this child should be punished due to the reoccurrence and the fact she has problems with multiple children not only mine but it's just okay for her to bully and physically injure other kids but instead they call the police on her angry parents, can you blame us? NEXT TIME IT COULD BE WORSE. I have documented proof from a teacher stating my child isn't the problem, it isnt only my child, said child has been complained about for years and nothing is being done. I PAYED TEDDY BEARS TO KEEP MY CHILD SAFE AND REPEATEDLY IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THEY ARENT CAPABLE OF DOING SO. THE DIRECTOR DOES NOTHING TO CORRECT THE ISSUE ONLY TELLS US TO LEAVE TEDDY BEARS IF WE WANT NO APOLOGIES NOTHING, WHY IS THIS CHILD PROTECTED AND MINE ISNT? WE OBVIOUSLY TOOK OUR BABY OUT OF THERE AFTER CUTTING DOWN DAYS WASNT ENOUGH HOWEVER THE VICTIM SHOULD NOT BE PUNISHED. TO GRANDMA DO BETTER RAISE YOUR GRANDKIDS TO NOT BE MANIPULATIVE BULLY'S WHO WILL END UP IN PRISON. TEDDY BEARS DO BETTER AND REALIZE A CHECK FROM THE STATE ISNT WORTH MY CHILDS SAFETY.
