This purchase/refund of snowballed into realizing the severe state of failure that DicksSportingGoods is in at the current time. The penned response was obviously written with guidelines that must've come from a very prosthetic source. This person also used pronouns with their signature which shows me that Dick's is political and the company probably must support the left side. I do not support nor want to hear or read anything regarding politics when I am spending my hard earned heavily taxed dollars. The long and short of my experience, which will go on the Dicks website, as well as yelp is that Dick's Sporting Goods purchased Chick's sporting goods. Chicks was a high end, customized, and heavily customer service oriented business. Their hard-working employees (which most of were athletes and worked in the department of the sport they played) did not pass the buck, and they truly (from their hearts), cared about the goals and needs of their customers/fellow athletes. I believe that Dick's is the classic fool-company of some rich lazy person whom believed that they could ride off the coattails of hard-working American athletes by replacing them with the lowest paid person off the street. Think again! I would make a bet in Vegas that dicks will fold in the next five years due to sheer LAZINESS!

The stock was ample too. Tons of men's and women's apparel. They have anything for any Pittsburgh sports team, plus regional shirts with Pittsburgh slang on it. They make perfect gifts for people- especially those Yinzers who may have moved away. They had a lot of combination sales- buy two for $18 on the t-shirts and things like that. I got two tanks, two shirts, a sweatshirt and some pins for $65. I couldn't beat that price if I wanted to. The shirts are good quality, although some seemed to be of better cotton quality than others, but for the price, I don't think I can complain too much. The service is great and the girl at the register was really friendly. It's located right inside of Station Square so definitely check it out next time your in that part of town. She turns around, looks at me and turns back around and starts chatting with the male employee. Neither one of them asked me if they could help. I was shopping for a pirate shirt for my nephew's birthday. I didn't realize the Pirate stuff was in the back and no one cared if I looked lost. When the female and male finally came to the back, it wasn't for me.. When the female came back the second time, it was to ask the couple that just walked in if they were ok. Im not sure if she followed me back up to the register, but she was right there and said absolutely nothing to me when I said goodbye. I guess you don't have to be decent anymore. I was told a minimum of eight times (I quit counting at eight) that they had Penguins T-Shirts in the store, "in the back", but with each declaration that they had the Penguins T-Shirts I was told versions of, "You cannot buy one", "We will not sell you one". This was in addition to being told to just order one over the internet. When I told them I was visiting the city and buying it as a gift I was told to go to the mall or the Penguin stadium store. The service at the Federal St Store was excellent. I was dressed conservatively, not at all appearing to be the type customer..."rabid fan?", the store wanted. I had gone on the internet to find where to in person, physically buy a Penguins t-shirt near the downtown Pittsburgh Wyndom hotel. The internet clearly indicated inventory of Penquins t-shirts at the RallyHouse stores. It was a 0.6 mile walk to the 206 Federal St RallyHouse store. Upon arrival at the store I asked for the item, stating it was a gift/souvenir to take home with me. I was advised because of the small footprint of the store, they did not carry Penquin inventory out of season. I was directed to another RallyHouse store a few blocks away. The person helping stepped outside the store with me to make sure I was heading in the right direction for the store. Upon arriving at the 684 W General Robinson St. store, I searched the entire, very large, store but only found children's and adult long sleeve Penguins clothing. I approached a young woman who assisted me in looking. She commented that they had many Penguins T-Shirts, stacks of them. They had been there the previous day. She eventually went to a manager, Abbey. The manager stated that they had been put in the back. The Penguins items had been moved to make room for temporary inventory for two different upcoming games. Despite informing Abbey that I had been directed to the store specifically for Penguin T-shirts, she repeatedly advised me that they had them, but I could not buy one. She advised me that they were in the back but would not sell me one. She did not want me as a customer and actually told me to go to stores other than RallyHouse. I had the lengthy "negotiation' to have her go in the back and sell me a T-Shirt. I stopped counting after the eight declarations that they had Penquin T-Shirts in the back and the accompanying refusal to sell me one. After abut ten minutes of that, I left. Since it was on they way to my hotel, I stopped in at the 206 Federal location. Within minutes of hearing the story, a staff went into their basement (they apparently do not have a backroom) and brought up a Penguins T-Shirt.

My father-in-law wanted a particular Steelers jersey. This jersey was sold out at competing businesses, but this Rally House had it in stock for the usual price. I ordered the jersey through their website, and a store employee soon shipped it through USPS Ground Advantage. The next day, the USPS delivered the package to me. The store employee had packed the correct product and the correct size. My father-in-law enjoys this jersey very much. I feel thankful that this store sold it to me. Please note that I have not visited this store in-person recently, so I do not know how the employees communicate.

I am very upper-middle-class, and I thought that many of the prices were high, such as $60 for a basic t-shirt. We bought socks, sneakers, and a t-shirt, which had high prices but are a very good quality. The cashiers promptly rang up our purchases and thanked us.
