My mom thought that was expensive until she tried one (and I helped her, lol). She said they were the best she'd ever tasted because they didn't taste overly fried or greasy. Staff members apologized that they were down to the last box and said they could take special orders - that they were made in-house. My husband, who grew up in Milan mentioned it, and I thought it would be worth checking out. The interior isn't much, just the meat counter and prep area in the back. But then, I'm not there to be sold anything other than meat, so I don't need anything fancy. The selection was good, they had pork, beef, chicken, and even some soy sausage. I loaded up on ground beef, huge chicken breasts, boneless pork chops and thick-cut bacon, all for $14. Much less expensive than the grocery store! Plus I'm supporting a local business. I didn't really ask where they source thier meat from, so I'm not sure if it's free-range chicken or anything. I'll look into that next time. The price will definitely keep me coming back. I've only cooked the chicken thus far, but the quality was good.

The ground meat is prepared fresh and looks and tastes so much better than the processed and chlorine treated ground meat in super markets. The ham shanks or ox tails are excellent as well.
