What a great find! I stopped in because of the South Sound Book Crawl and my wallet trembled in…read morefear. They have an amazing curation of new and used books. I was impressed by the special editions they carried and was impressed by their reasonable pricing. My favorite part was seeing all the local authors featured! We have a lot of literary talent in the PNW and it's even better when purchased from a local bookstore. Come when you have plenty of time! I had to rush a bit because I was fitting it in while in the area and I could spend hours here. Each genre is filled with options and there are so, so many. Great service, the staff is really friendly and welcoming.

What attracted me to this bookstore is the fact I saw Bluey on the display. I then came in…read morerealizing this was a bookstore. I usually don't go to bookstore, but I thought this place was actually very neat with all the selections that were available on that day. The upstairs is for children's books, but I really had to dig 'round in the different bins for Peppa Pig as the bookstore manager confirmed Bluey is a more popular character right now because I made a comment that Bluey was everywhere and had its own little display section around the store. Anyway, I was able to walk out with one book for myself to read and other books (Peppa Pig and Bluey) for my daughter to read. Oh, this place sells new and gently used books. You can trade in your old books for store credits from what I remember from my conversation with the store manager. It's a neat store to check out books in my opinion as it isn't overwhelmingly huge like Barnes & Noble. It's cute and quaint. I was rather shocked with the foot traffic that the store was receiving on that Friday morning.

They come up with flimsy excuses why you are not getting paid, the amount that they agreed upon. They told me that some of my book must have fallen out ( of the box). I said NO. I taped the box securely. Then they changed their minds and agree , on the phone to pay what I was expecting but when I got the amount paid to me from Pay Pal, they shorted me again. PLEASE DON'T USE this company. They are unethical and not trustworthy. I will NEVER use them again.

I am hoping…read morethis is affiliated with the same outfit, because the sticker (above, in the picture, saying the number of the book) is exactly like the stickers I get from online Thriftbooks. I am unsure, though, because this bookseller's name is in two words, instead. Anyway, I press on. I have been buying books from Thriftbooks for many years and have not ever been dissatisfied with the books I have received until now. I received a Celebrate Recovery Bible that had apparently been damaged in shipping. The reason for my searching this company down in order to give them five stars is that they handled the issue calmly and quickly and shipped me out another one, allowing me to just donate my damaged copy to the Salvation Army instead of paying shipping costs to return it to them. The Salvation Army will give it away free, I told them, in my local store. Two extra stars for that! And the customer service representative, Justin, was wonderful. The staff members who dealt with my written complaint were also as wonderful as Justin. Thanks, everyone. A word of "warning" for buyers before you purchase--Thriftbooks purchases arrive in flexible paper packaging, so it IS possible for them to get damaged en route, especially heavy books like Bibles.

The kids section is plentiful and I just generally like the layout of the store as this is one of the spacious Barnes & Noble. I am member so I enjoy the additional perks and savings. There is also lots of little nooks and crannies to find a seat throughout the store as you thumb through some of your literary picks. This is a good one right here when it comes to experiencing Barnes & Noble.

For some reason, something to do with the layout, I think, this B&N is very entertaining and diverting. You can spend a long time browsing all their different categories, from books to gifts. And of course there is a cafe included with ample seating that you can also use to sit and read or what-have-you. Our only disappointment was that the holiday items (of holidays that are over) were not marked down further - none were priced low enough to tempt us. Staff was friendly. The store was clean and tidy. BTW this spot has a HUGE collection of Legos and puzzles.
