What a great find! I stopped in because of the South Sound Book Crawl and my wallet trembled in…read morefear. They have an amazing curation of new and used books. I was impressed by the special editions they carried and was impressed by their reasonable pricing. My favorite part was seeing all the local authors featured! We have a lot of literary talent in the PNW and it's even better when purchased from a local bookstore. Come when you have plenty of time! I had to rush a bit because I was fitting it in while in the area and I could spend hours here. Each genre is filled with options and there are so, so many. Great service, the staff is really friendly and welcoming.

What attracted me to this bookstore is the fact I saw Bluey on the display. I then came in…read morerealizing this was a bookstore. I usually don't go to bookstore, but I thought this place was actually very neat with all the selections that were available on that day. The upstairs is for children's books, but I really had to dig 'round in the different bins for Peppa Pig as the bookstore manager confirmed Bluey is a more popular character right now because I made a comment that Bluey was everywhere and had its own little display section around the store. Anyway, I was able to walk out with one book for myself to read and other books (Peppa Pig and Bluey) for my daughter to read. Oh, this place sells new and gently used books. You can trade in your old books for store credits from what I remember from my conversation with the store manager. It's a neat store to check out books in my opinion as it isn't overwhelmingly huge like Barnes & Noble. It's cute and quaint. I was rather shocked with the foot traffic that the store was receiving on that Friday morning.

This is one of my favorite Barnes & Noble in the area. Also, I'm especially partial to B&N with a…read morecafe so I can browse my selections with something from the Starbucks cafe inside. The kids section is plentiful and I just generally like the layout of the store as this is one of the spacious Barnes & Noble. I am member so I enjoy the additional perks and savings. There is also lots of little nooks and crannies to find a seat throughout the store as you thumb through some of your literary picks. This is a good one right here when it comes to experiencing Barnes & Noble.

For some reason, something to do with the layout, I think, this B&N is very entertaining and diverting. You can spend a long time browsing all their different categories, from books to gifts. And of course there is a cafe included with ample seating that you can also use to sit and read or what-have-you. Our only disappointment was that the holiday items (of holidays that are over) were not marked down further - none were priced low enough to tempt us. Staff was friendly. The store was clean and tidy. BTW this spot has a HUGE collection of Legos and puzzles.

I travel the country stopping at record stores in every city. This shop was recommended to me by…read moresome Seattle locals. The store itself is well-stocked, organized and has an overall amazing vibe. They play GREAT music. They have a really well curated collection of stuff and I was super impressed by their collection of funk/soul/r&b. I found a number of cool stuff. I will say, their prices are really high, especially with condition of records. They were asking $25 for a vinyl with a shredded cover that I purchased in VG+ condition for $20 elsewhere. I would have bought WAY more from them, but why would I pay $15 for a record i could buy for $8-10 elsewhere that's probably in better condition? I know there's a premium on all records up here but with sales tax so high, it really prices out the base consumer. I had a stack of 30 records I wanted, but ended up only getting a few. I got two t-shirts and 3 records and it was $120. Ouch. Their "bargain bin" was anything but a bargain. Thrashed records, asking $15-25. Still a cool store, with great selection of genres. The lady that checked me out was really nice.

While they definitely do have a great selection of records. There are plenty of problems. The staff…read moreare very antisocial, and only like barking at you when looking at their "overstock" that isn't closed off or covered up. Also, their prices for the most basic records are just ridiculous and unnecessary. Also, beware from the clearance bins. They throw the trashy records in there and still charge a price without even a warning of skipping or clicks. Also, they refuse to let you try a record before buying which is sleazy since they don't even warn you if the record sucks to begin with.
