This store is wonderful and the reason I want to leave a review today is because a lady who works there was so helpful. Our granddaughter is getting older, she's turning eight, and it's a little harder to make good gift decisions. I wish I knew this woman's name, I don't, but she helped point us to things that are really on the nose. Recommend this store highly. And ask the staff for recommendations.

After lunch nearby my son wanted to stop in so we decided to brave it and it wasn't even busy at all. Yay! We initially went in to try and find the viral dumplings (iykyk) and unfortunately they were nowhere to be found but it still gave us the chance to look around. They really do have everything here! Lots of fun snacks, household items, decor, toys, games, and even clothing which I was surprised about. This will definitely be my go to spot to hit up for future stocking stuffers and small gifts for sure. We didn't buy anything this go around because nothing really jumped out at me, but I'm glad that I finally got the chance to check it out and see what it's all about. Looking forward to my next visit!

They have housewares, decor, toys, candy, snacks, electronics, and other neat things. There seems to be a lot more $7 and $10 items, but they also have certain things cheaper than I've seen elsewhere, such as the $3 boba drinks that I've seen in Safeway selling for $5+. Overall I really enjoyed going to this store! I just have to be more mindful of my budget because I definitely went over it lol. (Price Range)-- $5-$35 (Location)-- located in a very busy shopping area near Target. Plenty of parking. This store is in a pretty good part of town. The clientele are mostly the regular suburban type, but there were some people in there who were a little rowdy. (Experience)-- I had a great experience at this location! The employees were pleasant and didn't hover over me at the self-checkout.

Just because I'm young doesn't mean you can treat a PAYING costumer that way and to add on I'm a person of color! We weren't stealing and I'm sure she thought that to talk to me in such a rude unprofessional way.

So I was glad I was able to check out this new store that opened up in the Tacoma Mall. There are lots of Asian, specifically Chinese brands of toys like Skullpanda and Dimoo but there are also some American characters here as well. Over all I was not too familiar with most of the characters, brands or merchandise however. I come I suppose from a different generation of toys with a heavy preference towards action figures which the merchandise isn't quite that as some of it comes across to me as frail or delicate so I imagine it is intended for display purposes only and perhaps even keep it still in the box. It's still a really cool store and there is all sorts of merch options to absorb despite getting the realization that I may have been "aged out" on some of this stuff by not knowing all of the references, books or origins of where some of this stuff is from. But despite that it's a cool place to go to check out what they have.

They carry Midori journals, Travelers notebooks with inserts and leather cases. These are items I usually only find in specialty stationery stores in Seattle or Portland. There's also a nice assortment of pens, cards for different occasions, and various journal setups. I even spotted paints and colored pencils, which makes this a cozy creative hub for anyone who enjoys journaling or mixed media. It's clear this shop was created with the journaling community in mind. I completely understand how challenging it can be for a smaller store to keep a wide range of stock when people don't always take advantage of having such resources nearby. I truly hope the local journaling community supports this gem so that the store continues to grow and maintain a steady flow of new and inspiring materials. So happy to see this kind of stationery store in downtown Tacoma. I'll definitely be back!
