There is a membership to earn points to redeem for coupon. Don't forget to grab some Japanese or Korean instant coffee packs and special lays flavored chips! Those are so good.

It appears to be a gourmet grocery store, specializing in sushi grade seafood, pasta from Italy, fancy cheeses, meats, caviar, and sodas from around the country. They had diet Cheerwine, even. I've never seen so many different root beers in one place- there was even a pumpkin root beer! There wasn't a BLT on the menu, but they custom made one for my son, and he added pesto and provolone. He declared it the best BLT ever, and knocked his favorite sandwich place back home to second place. I had the Thanksgiving everyday. A $16 buck sandwich, I was skeptical it wasn't going to live up to its price point. However, it was worth every cent. It was turkey, goat cheese, and homemade cranberry sauce on sourdough, and grilled panini style on a press. The turkey was sliced fresh- everything was made fresh. The taste was absolutely amazing. I live in California, but hate most sourdough bread, because that tang tastes spoiled. You don't have that weird taste with Cheese and Crackers sourdough bread- it's just delicious toasted buttered bread. It was the right texture and made it crunch. The crew appeared very hardworking and enjoyed their jobs. We were greeted kindly, and felt welcome. I use a walker, and was able to navigate the store, but note the space is kinda small. Since I don't live here, I'm going to do my best to recreate my sandwich at home. In order to redeem a car wash I prepaid prior to my visit, I stopped by a total of 11 times and made 4 phone calls just to inquire the status of the car wash. The employees had been consistently polite and helpful, but were unable to respond with anything but "no, the car wash is down." And there were a variety of ways to turn customers away: "it's down and we've called somebody to come to fix it", "it's fixed but we can't turn it on now", "it was open but it's not completing the cycle so we had to close it again", etc. On my 12th visit I finally finally got into the car wash, but I wish I didn't. After pulling in, I heard the entire machine making all kinds of grinding noise when it moved like it was dragging something with it. Nozzles seemed clogged as water and soap were sprayed intermittently. Soap didn't cover car. Water didn't rinse soap off. Hot air blower didn't blow water off. So eventually I ended up with pulling out of the car wash with water droplets all over and a considerable amount of soap residues. Honestly my vehicle was dirtier than before. And I paid for another car wash somewhere else. The car wash obviously is severely out of shape. The gas station employees are not technicians and certainly can't fix it. Seemingly the owner has already gave up in the car wash. Remember their car wash is the touchless one and that abysmally poorly maintained machine can't wash anything off your car.

It's totally worth the short trip from Champaign to get here. Large & clean parking lot, clean shopping carts, wide aisles, nice lighting, all-around an attractive floor plan, clean store and super friendly employees. I found the location to be well-staffed when I visited, which was nice to see. This location offers the most expansive produce and wine/spirits sections I've ever seen in an Aldi store. Wow. The frozen foods department is quite large as well. Great prices on name brand cereal---General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios were $2.79 for a large box. If you're looking for something specific or name brand you'll have to visit a larger retailer, but for basics and generic items Aldi is great. Remember that quarter for your cart rental and your own reusable bags, too. Coming from the Chicagoloand area, I was giddy when I walked into this location. We had nothing like this up North. Definitely our go-to Aldi from now on. Highly recommend.

Below is my experience with this location's poor customer service While chatting with my girlfriend, I sit down at the computer and plug my phone in using a cable in the drawer beneath the computer. I start the ordering process, continuing to chat with my girlfriend. At the very moment that I reach the "Connect your device" screen of the ordering process, I hear an associate rudely ask, "Y'all tryin' to print photos?" I was offended by the employee's tone in asking this question; she sounded annoyed and very impatient. I was also offended because the employee interrupted a conversation I was having with my girlfriend. I feel that would only have been an appropriate way to approach me had I been banging my phone against the computer screen and yelling, "LOAD MY PICTURES!" That was not the case... Anyways, I respond affirmatively to the associate's initial question, but adopt a tone of voice I hope will discourage any further interaction. The employee does not take my cue. Instead, in that same tone from before, I am told, "You gotta connect it to the computer!" Now very annoyed, I hold up my phone to demonstrate to her that it has already been connected and tell her that it is. She then raises her voice and responds with, "No it ain't!" She then walks up to the kiosk, yanks the drawer open, pulls out the other end of the cable I've already connected to my phone, mashes it into the USB port on the front of the computer, and stalks off in the opposite direction, sending a "Ya welcome" over her shoulder. Classy... Had she not so rudely inserted herself and kept us from proceeding with the order alone, my girlfriend and I would likely have solved that little problem within -oh, I don't know- 5 seconds? But, hey, why not behave like a condescending b****?
