The Rx wasn't in the Phoenicia pharmacy, and I asked to pick it up in the Tannersville pharmacy; it was done seamlessly. Up in Tannersville I was helped by the pharmacist (Jennifer B, I believe), who was as helpful and kind as I needed. This is the way health care should work. The wait times on the phone can range from 30 min to an hour. They sometimes clear the phone lines by just hanging up on all the calls that are holding. Lately, the calls roll over to corporate because no one at the local office even bothers to pick up the phone. The women at the window (and on the phone) are mean and condescending. The wait time at the office is often longer and more frustrating. Their organization and maintenance of healthcare records are similar to what you would expect at a landfill. If you have the app, you can easily see how badly they maintain records. It's expected that you continually (every couple of months) update your contact and insurance records because they keep losing them as a result of improperly transferring your data to whoever acquired them last. I am in the process of moving away from Maverick or whatever they are calling themselves these days. If you are considering this office for anything more than an example of what not to do, I urge you to seek out an alternative. These people are going to kill someone at some point.

This physician drags down what I would, and have, said before this experience is a good ER, but a hospital system which tolerates this "service" is not entitled to praise and should be avoided. I received a bill for over $800 for a five minute appointment which led to two incorrect diagnoses and 2 useless prescriptions. When I inquired about a reduced bill, they refused and told me my treatment was "appropriate" (???). But prescribing medication for problems I don't have doesn't seem appropriate to me.
