When then going to PT in Brooklyn, the therapist informed me that nothing they were doing was aligned with my surgeons recommendations, nor would help me regain full motion of my arm. The facility was also not kept clean. Wipe down of equipment did not happen after each use. Towels and wraps were worn, torn and dingy.

Although I had worked with several physical therapists over the course of four months, my primary physical therapists were Ashley and Michaela. They were both exceptionally attentive to my needs and encouraged me continually. Since going, I've been able to correct my gait (I had been shuffling), I learned how to go up and down stairs without fear, I learned how to get up and down from a chair without assistance, and after less than three months was able to put my socks and sneakers on and tie them without assistance.
