We greatly appreciated that she could bring her own furniture and hang her favorite wall hanging up. Her room looks like home. We can't say enough about the staff. They work so hard and are very caring. Mom even says the food is good (and she was very set in her ways with the food she cooked herself).

We recently visited a relative receiving palliative hospice care there (they have many levels of…read moreservice, btw). We did not tour the building, but what we saw of the facility and staff was reassuring. Protocols were clear; PPEs were provided and hand sanitizer was just steps away from every location. The rooms were bright and cheerful and the all areas that we saw were tidy and smelled clean. Our relative's room and bed were fresh looking and it appeared that good care was being taken.

She is now doing very well and aside from wanting her car () she has settled in quite well. This is a beautiful facility, the staff is wonderful, and there are plenty of activities to keep her engaged. A bonus is the Montessori school that is connected to the facility so the residents get to interact with the young children. There is a van to take her to medical appointments and residents can sign up for trips to do some shopping and even to go to the Racino in Saratoga! The pricing is very reasonable compared to other facilities we looked at, and is based upon the size of the room the resident selects. I thank the staff for the care they provide!

filthy. neglectful. they lied to my face about the care my mother received. i had to demand her…read morerelease after just 72 hours due to lack of care, failure to administer medications, theft of clothing, and we both became violently ill with rotavirus within 48 hours. the administration is all about maximizing profit by cutting services/staff, and the filthy conditions are proof of that. they broke state law by charging me for her medical records even though they were being used to support her medicaid application, and made me pack up my bedridden mother and drive 30 miles to retrieve them, even when i requested repeatedly to have them mailed, which, by law, i am entitled to. furthermore, not only did they charge me $.75/ page, they charged me for dozens of duplicate pages, but after reviewing their version of the records, and comparing them to my own photos, notes, and time-stamped emails, i found fraudulent claims/entries, fabrications of care, and outright lies within the records. i allege the administrator, kate costello, directed staff to do so, and i will gladly testify to this assertion under oath in court...a place they've persistently threatened me with as a result of my refusal to pay their "services rendered" invoice. i've contacted county, state, and federal representatives as a result of our terrible experience in this hellhole, and now a regional media outlet has agreed to embark on a long term investigation into hudson valley rehabilitation as a result of our story. stay tuned, and keep your loved ones as far away from this place as possible.

You can imagine how vulnerable I was with the brutality of the pain and feeling lost. Fortunately, I was able to get into the Baptist Home at Brookmeade in Rhinebeck. (Not sure that's the correct name.) This is an amazing place. The nursing staff at all levels is kind, professional, attentive, patient, supportive, caring, respectful, and responsive. And whatever positive words you can add. I had seen a negative comment prior to coming here and, honestly, it is hard to imagine anything happening here that is less than perfect. When in pain and suffering, just able to wait out the healing process, one becomes scared and powerless. I'm 80 years old and still working. I travel for business and am completely on my own. My husband John and I have experienced several rehab facilities over the years. Some so-so, some…read morevery bad. John came to Glendale for rehab in early April 2025. What a wonderful place! John and I are very impressed. His private room is very spacious with three large picture windows looking out to lovely fields and woods. It's immaculately clean. All the staff are wonderful, especially OTs and PTs. They have given John many hours of therapy with great compassion, kindness, and professionalism. He is in a lot of pain. The aides and nurses are so caring and kind to him. In his younger years, he had a band which played at Glendale often. We love that there is entertainment in the Multi-Purpose Room about twice a week, including everything from folk bands, DJs, and even an Elvis impersonator! Last week, an ice cream social was held outside with a singer and Mr. Ding-a-Ling giving out ice cream. This type of thing helps relieve boredom which can happen easily when confined to a bedroom. Also, once a week religious services are given. As devout Catholics, we appreciate mass and communion each Tuesday. The Director Todd visits every resident to make sure they are happy and asks if there is anything he could do to help them. We never saw this before in other facilities. John says the food is wonderful. I wish I could eat there every day. A menu is given a month in advance so you can select all of your meals. On Thursdays, pizza is delivered by a local pizzeria. Every place is spotless. If you have any concerns, they are addressed immediately. So I thank everyone who works at Glendale Home. You make my life and my husband's live very much better. Thank you.
