Called a barn, looks like a church.

There's stuff everywhere. The good kind of junk. I was scouring Yelp one day trying to find an antique shop I'd never been to; coming from Antique World in Clarence, I figured making the drive to Pembroke wouldn't be too troublesome. I'm definitely glad I found this place! They call it a Barn, but the building is actually more of an old church. There are two sections - an upstairs and a downstairs - and there are antiques galore! I can't even begin to explain everything that can be found here, but have a couple of highlights: - Wooden crates! Some of which were actually pretty inexpensive. So tempting. - Vinyl records. I could have spent hours sifting through the dozens of boxes. - Glassware. Drinking glasses, bowls, you name it. - Signs. Stop signs, gasoline ads, even a Fallout Shelter sign. - Furniture. All seemed to be upstairs, and included cabinets, tables, and chairs. - Animal skin and taxidermy. Note that the upstairs area isn't heated, and in the winter it can get incredibly cold. That being said, I can't wait to come back out to this place during the summer, when I'm on antique streak! I didn't find anything to take home this time around, but I know with such a crazy variety of items to be found here, there's bound to be something that'll catch my eye.

VERY cool place! Owner's really nice... Awesome spot to check out for unique finds

We stopped here to check out the Pokémon selection, my husband really enjoyed walking around and checking out the selection of older tools.

It's an old church that Bob has turned into a really cool little pickers haven...

Let's try to clear up a bit of confusion first! Brian Noody once had an Archery place on Main Road…read moreand it burned down a few years ago. He moved his business to the 4910 Webster Road location and when he did that - he more or less gave up the archery business and began his dream career as an award winning taxidermist! My wife and I went to see Brian about a black bear we wanted to get done - and after spending some time with Brian we realized we had the perfect man for the job. He learned about us and we quickly learned and observed the special artistry that he has when it comes to taxidermy! Brian's place may not be the biggest, but he has won awards both at the State and World level and did so in the creative category, which for anyone who wants the best mounts - that's the important one! He had plenty of his work on display, but we first observed his work at JJ Guns - so a special shout out to them as well. Brian's work is spot on and he has a special appreciation toward animals and people in general - a very unique person who treats you like family. He is easy to talk with and before you leave - you too will have a much better understanding of the art of taxidermy and Brian's passion for it! For any hunter that gets something worth saving - trust me - it will be worth talking with Brian - it will ensure you get the very best! Once Beatrice our black bear is done - we will be working with a grew fox and then bandit! The Facebook page for this business is: https://www.facebook.com/WestWindTaxidermy/?fref=ts

This shop caught our attention, had plenty of room for parking, items outside and inside. Danielle, the owner, was onsite and greeted us warmly. She said her dad buys most of the items and they have new inventory regularly. I signed up for the mailing list - 3 postcards per year of their events - and looked around the 3 parts of the store. There is a main level and two upper levels that are not connected and have separate staircases. There was a good mix of vintage items, household (linens, dishes, tea cups), and furniture. My sister bought a mobilgas can and I bought some knitting needles and a small book (how to knit). Prices were reasonable. Some items did not have prices but she said just ask, no problem! We will definitely stop back when in the area, or for an event!

The neighbor said they won't be open till April. The website and online clearly state it's open till 5pm. This was just ridiculous. And the location of this place was absurd, had so much trouble finding this place, and the parking lot is basically a driveway. On a busy road. I don't think it was at all worth the trip to check this out. Please update your hours.
