My dentist even transferred my records. I guess there's good money in orthodontia, because their office is amazing! I got the grand tour, which was pretty impressive, but what I most appreciated was that they have separate treatment areas for kids and adults. So no hanging out with the teenagers for me! After looking at the affected spot and examining my retainers, Dr. Schuster suggested a super simple solution. She just trimmed off the end of my retainer and said that, given time, the tooth would likely move forward by itself. Two months later, we confirmed that it did exactly that, and since my retainers are in reasonable condition (they kindly cleaned them up for me and suggested some ways to keep them that way), she said we can just leave everything as is. So, I'm not getting food stuck anymore, and I didn't spent a dime. And they were super nice and helpful on top of that. While my experience is obviously a little out of the ordinary, from the way they treated me, I would absolutely recommend Sawyer Creek for all your orthodontia needs. If you have to get braces, this is the place to do it!

It is hard enough for children to keep their teeth clean without braces but the staff took an adequate amount of time to explain how to be proactive with their home care additionally explaining the consequences of poor oral health with braces. After the third attempt, I finally receive a call back to be told they would need call me again to figure out the price of treatment. Days have gone by and no call was made. If you prefer over paying and having low quality customer service, this seems the place to go to. Just an FYI, when asking them why do braces cost more at their office, the answer was because of the lack of a competitive market and "their lab costs more" for the same material any other Ortho office gets. In other words, they jack up the price for absolutely no reason but greed.

Office boss pulled me in her office we talked, I said I'd call the Wausau office when I got home and she said they would try to fit the boys in for a cleaning when I called back.... fast forward to two days ago. I called there to get my boys set up for routine cleanings. They tell me they need to get ahold of their manager bc my bill went to collections and they need approVal! call me back within 5 mins, leave me a message saying they can no longer accept my boys as patients bc my account has gine to collections!!!!!!!!! Then they tell me to contact the insurance number to see what other pediatric number is in network... guess what.. you are the only one!!!! Now what?! I have to drive 2 hours for my boys to get dental care?!! Really?! make me pay before I leave maybe?!!!! Sooo soooooooo upsetting!!!! Then I was suppose to get reimbursed the first time when I had different insurance after they submitted my bill to insurance bc I paid right away and never got reimbursed anything!
