I start to get up at that point and finally she's like "okay okay, one minute" and takes each tool out of my mouth with no haste. I get up and tell her again that it's burning down my throat now, and I need water. She shows me the sink and I proceed to cough and rinse. To top it off, this gal talks to me like I'm a 6 year old. My first free consultation visit was most amazing! In my first visit, I have a reserved parking space in front of the office with my first name on the signpost - the first time in my life with such a VIP treatment. I did not have to wait long, and the check-in was exceptionally smooth because my dentist already had forwarded my records to the clinic. Dr. Cummins was soft spoken, patient, and very professional. I had many x-rate pictures on my teeth in every conceivable angles taken and the doctor showed me the pictures when he explained to me what work could be done. I was given several options and the pros and cons of which - he did not advise me for the most expensive ones due to my age and the solution I finally chose was the one I was most comfortable with. This visit was free, and I have no obligation to follow-up with the advice. The next visit was the beginning of the actual work, and it was much better than what I had anticipated. I have minimal inconvenience and could drink and eat with my new braces almost immediately. Better yet no one can tell I have braces unless I smile so I will try to keep my straight face most of the time! The metal braces I chose is much cheaper and sturdier than the more expensive transparent one that the orthodontist did not convince me to get. This is professionalism. All the staff in the clinics were all very friendly and helpful. This is a very well-run clinic, and I will be going back to them in the next 18 months (about 1 and a half years). I will give an update after my treatment is complete. Please accept my sincere appreciation to the doctor and staff for my office visits and safe care I had received so far.

At our appointment we were greeted with a personalized parking space. My daughter enjoyed that. The staff was friendly and super nice. I found Dr. Cummins to be thorough, have an excellent bedside manner and he explained things really well. We are waiting another 6 months (he didn't recommend immediate action) but I already know we'll come back to see Dr. Cummins. I'm not sure why so many of his reviews are hidden, despite being written by experienced Yelp reviewers. On other websites he has a very favorable rating.

I was assured that because they were directly contracted with my insurance there would be no issues. I was told everything was going to be covered for my first appointment. When I went in for my second appointment a different person at the front desk told me they had made a mistake and none of it was going to be covered. They didn't even get my signature on the faulty quote. I am now being charged over 10X as much as they quoted me. I complained, and there response sounding like they didn't even read my complaint. They said they 'reviewed my x-rays' and would be unable to reimburse me. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and still, they did not address my concerns in any way.
