Schmackary's has been a NYC cookie institution for ages, and I'm so excited that it's come to Long Island! The shop is adorably decorated, colorful, and bright, drawing you in to the enormous cookie display. The staff were all incredibly friendly, giving their recommendations and just chatting up and making us feel welcomed. The cookies and treats are all really delicious. They're a good balance of crispy outside with a softer chewy middle. They're not too sweet, have a nice salt level to balance things out, and come in a great variety of flavors. My favorites were the Turtle and Peanut Butter Cup cookies, and you can't go wrong with the classic chocolate chip. read more

These assorted cookies are basically happiness in a box. One minute you're crunching into a buttery apple crisp, the next you're in funfetti heaven. It's like a cookie adventure--you never know what you're going to get, but it's always good. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I attended the Grand Opening of this brand new cookie location and wow! It was super cute inside & the cookies looked DEELISH right off from the get go! I took 3 home and ate a little of each. They tasted homemade and delicious! They had all different types of cookie, which all seemed to be made on site. I loved that everyone working there was very kind and took their time. They don't just sell cookies! They have cakes (made to order), coffee, & even sell their own coffee on site. They even had some cute accessories on their shelves available for purchase! Aside from a Yelp Elite event a while back, I haven't been able to make it back to the store just yet, however I have been ordering online delivery. If there's an item out of stock, they will replace it with another item for you. One time the store was nice enough to call to ask what replacements I would like for cookies I ordered that weren't in stock. The cookies are so good, I love how there's oatmeal based cookies. With all the flavors it's a great twist to the classic oatmeal cookie. Also the maple blondie is absolutely delicious & I'm usually not a blondie fan. The shop is super cute with an enormous display of cookies. The staff is always friendly. The cookies are delicious, with a perfect balance of a crisp and chewy center. This is my kids' favorite cookies spot. His favorite cookie comes with a gummy worm. The cookies are not overly sweet and seem to have just the right touch of salt to balance the flavors. The menu changes time to time, but I'm a stickler for the basic chocolate chip cookie. As an added bonus, they also have a really awesome hidden drink menu that makes the visit even more fun and definitely worth asking about. I stopped by this store yesterday. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered 4 cookies and it came to $14.00. It's on the expensive side, but the cookies are big and delicious. We tried the classic, the key lime, the banana split and the snickerdoodle cookie although that one is called something else. That one was my favorite because it tasted like a snickerdoodle. The outside was a little crispy and covered in cinnamon sugar, while the inside was soft and chewy. Delicious! The key lime tastes exactly like key lime with a sweet icing on top. The classic is a chocolate chip cookie and also very good. My daughter's favorite was the banana split cookie. I can't wait to go back and try some more flavors! read more

Great addition to this neighborhood. We made a quick stop to grab a few of their cookies and the we're a so delicious. We tried the funfetti, the classic chocolate chip and the dulce de leche. Dulce de leche was by far our favorite! The young man who was there Tuesday afternoon was very friendly and helpful, great customer service. The store is super clean and the decor is adorable. If you are a cookie person then you already know the name Schmackery's! My husband & i frequent the one in the city OFTEN. Needless to say i was excited when this location showed up in my tiktok feed & google showed its "kinda" on my way home from the beach. This place is a gem! Better than the one in the city. Bigger, cleaner & more choices. The staff was warm, inviting & fun to interact with. They were as excited as we were about the cookies. I think we got every flavor they had because the cookies never disappoint. My only regret was not finding this location earlier. I wish them well & will see you next summer! read more
