Especially the location offers a breathtaking view over the valley and you have a good starting point if you like to hike over to Frankonia´s "holy mountain" - the Ehrenbuerg (or better known as "Walberla" -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ehrenbürg ).
We called for a reservation around two hours before and it worked out great.
When we arrived at the location (this was our first check in there), we were welcomed friendly and guided to the table with a view over the valley. We could have been placed outside on the Veranda - but it was too cold already so we stayed inside.
The location´s look is kind of early 90 years but clean and well operated. We didn't look into the hotel rooms (we are living 12 km away from this location - so no overnight stay), but we believe they are also clean and well operated.
Parking is easy as you have some parking lots and also a shelter for cars (not higher than 2m).
We ordered "Schaufele" (roasted pork shoulder) with potato dumplings, roasted pork with gravy and potatoe dumplings, Cordon Bleu (kind of Wiener Schnitzel filled with Cheese and Ham) with fries and "Käse-Spätzle" - Noodles with cheese and onions from the pan.
All dishes came with a small salad and very quick.
The first thing is that the salad is still some kind of 70´s style with ingredients from the can. all except the green salad was convenience food stuff.
The Cordon Bleu was not that bad but the cheese was extremely smelly and definitely not of our taste. The fries were cheap quality and not salted.
The roasted pork was of mediocre quality and the gravy seemed to be made from concentrate out of the can. Not a good quality. Also the dumpling.
The Schaufele, (the roasted pork shoulder) was extremely soft and tender meat - the taste was good and also the baked pork skin was crispy and tasty. The only downside of this meal was - as stated before - the salad of mediocre quality. Also the dumpling delivered with the dish was not pursuing.
So here the ranking comes:

Depends. If I´m hiking here and really really hungry maybe.
