We usually love Schlotzsky's food. But it has been some time since we've eaten there. Went through the drive thru and just ordered what husband wanted, which was the Smokey Bacon meal and I ordered a medium Scholotzsky's original sandwich only. When I got up to window to pay they said it was $42!! For 1 meal and 1 sandwich that is outrageous! Employee acted as if they could care less. Whenever I drive by the place is empty and I'm never certain if they are open. Management needs to get a hold of their pricing and employees customer service skills. read more

So I just went to Schlotzky's and have had a horrible expierence. We pull up and try to order pizzas and the girl, Wretha would not stop laughing at us. We pull up to the window and again laughing. It was very rude and made it uncomfortable. We then are sitting there awkwardly when I look over and she continously laughs and gives bad looks which are very obvious. I had a horrible experience today and I hope you can improve your staff. read more

I like my "original" crispy, so I ordered it EXTRA hot, which is what we call it in TX, the girl taking my order seemed confused so I said "extra toasted". I said this three different ways so I'm not sure how this was interpreted so wrong. My sandwich was NOT extra toasted, and I watched them make my food, wrap it up and set it aside while they made 3 other sandwiches and pizzas. Not sure why you couldn't just hand me my food when it was ready..... or why it couldn't be made the way I asked. Thanks for the soggy dinner! read more

You might want to wait to visit. Our food was A-OK but the service. It wasn't bad but they only had one register open and literally a dozen people loitering around the drive thru. It seemed like there were two adults (managers? owners?) that were trying to run the show and herd the teenage workers. It is nice to have a Schlotzsky's in town and one with the new concept except I remember tacos on the menu at another Austin-themed one. Hope they get it together. Newly opened... So if you gripe about waiting a few extra minutes for your food... shame on you. I have been to this location twice since they opened... it is very busy, but the staff has been VERY friendly and helpful regardless. Let me say, I crave an original Schlozsky's sandwich. Predictable, slightly crunchy outer seeded bread and then the meats and veggie bed, light sauce. Yes. Always a good food product. Drive thru offers proficient service. Pleasant and attentive. My go to for late nights wrapping up a long day serving my community as an election worker. MY 1 riff, please change, or rethink is the rigidity of the drink cups. Yep. That is it. I grab the drink cup, as I travel to deliver election vital equip etc and the drink top popped off, sides collapsed. I had my treat, a fav seldom bought cherry coke all over my lap. Yesterday my sweetie brought in a combo chip, sandwich and drink, when he stumbled. His grip tightened on the drink cup and the bottom broke out. I've never been to this sandwich place. The overall experience was alright. I went through the drive-thru and the whole menu wasn't up on the screen which was odd. Was sorta skeptical when it wasn't the normal sandwich bread but it was delicious! The pick 2 was great but the soups weren't posted. Usually this place is good but they always forget pickle spears every time and today they told me to get them me from the open jar In front I told her no you guys always forget the spears I want the spears from the kitchen, I could of gotten the ones in front myself. The behavior from staff is disgusting . Came through drive thru this morning and was handed the wrong order . I was treated rudely but yet I was the one given the wrong sandwich. The first time I ordered the chicken avocado flatbread, it was so good! They lightly drizzled the chipotle mayo over it and I was hooked. The last two times I've ordered this item, they COMPLETELY drenched the entire thing in the chipotle mayo. It was disgusting and it even soaked through the box and spilt out all over the place. I feel horrible because I convinced my mother to try it thinking it was just a new or careless employee and it couldn't possibly happen a second time. I was wrong and we were both grossed out by the over drenching of the dressing. Also they charged my husband an extra $1.09 for requesting provolone rather than Swiss cheese. Poor way to do business. Ok so I absolutely love Schlotzsky's I have since I was a child and this is why this is so disappointing for me. Me and my husband just had lunch there and we sat and watched a customer come in with a puppy and one of the young girls that works there came out from behind the counter and pet the puppy. Normally I wouldn't say anything however after she handled the puppy she went back to work and was touching peoples food. She DID NOT wash her hands or put gloves on. Needless to say I was grossed out and we both stopped eating and left. I probably will not eat at this Schlotzsky's again I will say everyone that works there was very nice and friendly but the fact that she didn't have the common since to know how unsanitary that was is disturbing, maybe more training should happen here. read more

This was my smoked turkey sandwich. Not only did they leave off the toppings, but the bread tasted like it had been toasted a few hours before. It was crunchy!! I realize they are new here, but to serve something like this is completely unacceptable. We tried to call and of course, they won't answer the phone. I visit them every week for soup and sandwiches. They stay very busy but the food has always been great. The staff is very friendly, busy working hard to get the food orders ready. Love that they have a drive through so I don't have to go in on rainy days. The drive through is very quick, I have never waited very long. I love that we have this restaurant in Owasso now! The first time I tried this place was at the drive thru. A bit slow but the food tasted good. This time we went in. The place was FILTHY & the service was horrible. It took forever to place an order with only one person in front of us. We finally placed our order but there wasn't a clean table in the place. All the girls I saw were working. On the other hand 3 guys had time to stand around and shoot the bull while they watched others work. Time to hire a babysitter for the teenage male employees. My family and I waited in the drive through line for almost 2hrs. (Stupid us) We made our orders then when we finally make it to the window, the girl said their card reader wasn't working and that it was cash only.... I didn't have cash , so instead of them giving me the food that they would be throwing away they left us empty handed and hungry. Chicken Avocado Flatbread is my Schlotzsky's go-to. This location is very hit and miss with this particular item. Sometimes it's great, but more often than not it's just a mess. Way too much chipotle sauce, burnt edges, just a pile of stuff that you honestly have to eat with a fork. Today, I was truly grossed out by my experience. Not only with the flatbread, but with the employee that took my money at the window then turned around to the prep table and proceeded (without gloves or hand washing) to plop stuff by hand onto my flatbread, then scratch her scalp (like both hands in her hair scratching) and continue preparing my meal.
