I placed an online order for my staff and went to pick it up. Before leaving the drive‑thru, I asked the young lady at the window if everything was in the bag, and she kindly told me yes. When I returned to my office and my staff began handing out the food, we discovered that two meals were missing. Because I was helping patients, two of my employees left to buy their own food, thinking I had forgotten to order for them. I had to show them my online receipt to prove the meals were included in the order. I called the store to resolve the issue and spoke with Mimi. Unfortunately, she repeatedly interrupted me and would not allow me to explain what happened. When I asked her to please stop interrupting so I could finish explaining, she hung up on me. This location seems to make sandwiches that are lacking the proper proportions. The meat is single layers, little lettuce, little of anything on the sandwich. The sandwich is tasteless, dry, and lacking proper amounts for which we pay quite a lot of money. It's two large pieces of break with little in between. I cannot recommend this location. We drove through today to order lunch. Overall, the food is classic Schlotzskys, so we like the sandwiches. The sandwiches were decent and well-made. However, we decided to add a mini-bon for each of us, for a total of 4. I asked if they came in a box and the attendant said you have to buy them individually. I figured it's a mini can't be that much. We won't be doing that again. I understand the inflationary price hikes across the board, but each mini was $5 and was the size of a small Pillsbury cinnamon roll you get at Kroger. My review is mostly based on the customer service. My work place has ordered from here numerous times and the pizzas are my favorite. Being Ash Wednesday I took advantage of the vegetarian pizza and the cheese due to the Wednesday BOGO deal. So for about $8.50 I got to personal pizzas from Schlotzsky's. If you haven't had there pizzas go ahead and give them a try. They use the same dough as they do in there sandwiches rather than regular pizza dough. The customer service definitely lacks. When I came in no one was at the register and there was someone at the drive through area texting in her phone while there was a car at the window. I was not acknowledged at all until she had to go get there order. Then she took my payment for my order. The location it self is dingy looking and needs some more lighting or major upgrade to be done. I hope that it was just a a bad time where they were short handed and hopefully they can work on being a little bit kore welcoming. read more

Someone is sitting in the parking lot watching a movie on their cell phon while waiting for someone inside the locked building. If they are going to be closed why not change the hours to 9 closing. Horrible, i always order from schlotzskys and this is the first time I have had a bad experience not only did my order get cancelled but I still had to pay for it. My card was charged! I gave them a called and pretty much was told by the so called "manager" that she could not do anything. I had called previously on Wednesday to try to get reimbursed and was told by an employee that management would call me which they never did. When I called back Friday this rude Chinese lady said there was nothing she could do, and I tried speaking with her and she kept on being rude. Overall I love schlotzkys but will definitely be back. I love Schlotzsky's. Seriously. So it's rough for me to give a negative review. However, this location is not great. I would use more colorful language, but I'm keeping this PG. I ordered a Cinnabon cinnamon roll with my meal. I should know better than to take off before checking the bag. When I got home, the cinnamon roll was old and didn't have much icing. Our 1st. time in a Schlotsky's and it was very good. They had a good selection of sandwiches, soups, pizzas, and salads. We both had the bacon club sandwich. It was sooo good especially on their fresh and crispy bun. You get to choose a sandwich size between small and medium. WARNING their medium sandwich is large everywhere else in the universe. I would definitely order again but I probably won't so I could try the other items on their menu. Everybody was so very friendly. The food is brought out to your table and you get your own drinks. Let me begin by saying i love their food. BUT, Spencer and East Blvd location closes at 10 PM. I am writing this review at 9:20, we had just pulled out of the drive thru and our order was wrong. I pulled up to the front and noticed an employee standing at the door. I was close enough to make eye contact with her as my daughter continued to search our bag for our missing item, I started to get our of my truck and paused for a moment because it looked as if she was locking the door and thought to myself they should still be open. She didnt lock the door and immediately walk away, she literally waited for me to get out of my truck and walk towards the door as she turned the key and walked away from me. She clearly saw we were customers looking through the food we had just purchased. As she smiled and walked away there is no doubt in my mind she knew what she was doing. It was that obvious. 40 minutes before close they locked the doors and turned the main lights off along with the OPEN sign. It simply was a staring contest for 30 seconds which made me originally think she was waiting to see if I had an issue and was going to allow me to enter, but it was the opposite. She waited to shun me. There are atleast 4 individuals there who all look the same so it's difficult to tell which one she was once she rejoined her coworkers. All about 5'4" 225lbs , dark complexion but I'm shocked that I am home writing this review with 30 minutes still left on the clock. I was super excited when this opened up years ago. Finally one close enough to eat at frequently but this will definitely cross my mind next time we get a craving for Schlotzsky's and I will not pay as much as they charge for these sandwiches when its sh*tty people like this preparing them. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! Save yourself the trouble of supporting the business owner Mimi Pearson. She is a very bad person. i am a former employee there. I don't even know where to start. First of all, she steals from customers who order the smoke cheezy sandwiches. They come with 6.6 oz of meat and she has with no permission from corporate changed her kitchen charts to serve 4.4 so for the last two years all the customers have been robbed of the right meat amount. She also has served and will force the employees to use expired cheddar cheese with mold on it. She will sort thru it herself and take out the moldy pieces and still serve it to customers. I have seen her okay people to use the expired salami when she's asked if they use it with mold, she proceeds to say yes and when it cooks customers have no idea it had mold on the cold side before it went thru the oven. I have called the health dept before and she is still open. She yells and harasses her employees, taking advantage of the 16 and 17 year olds and the Mexican ladies in the kitchen who don't speak English. She will snatch kitchen stuff from the workers hands. I don't know how this woman still has her business. She doesn't like to wear gloves and she never washes her hands. She has seen employees make food without gloves on a daily basis and she is okay with it. She does not repremend them. I am not making this up, if you read other reviews she has fought with customers who have come on here and reported her. She has no respect for anybody. There is employees there who quit every week because of how she is. The turnover rate is horrible. She does not have an employee who's worked for her more than 3 years. She literally fights with everyone from customers to employees to even the Schlotzskys catering department and the Ben e Keith people that deliver our products. Literally the WORST customer service experience in my 45 years of living!!! WHY don't they give a ZERO option?? O.k.... I've been eating Schlotzky's since 1987, when I got my 1st job at one of their MN locations. The food is always pretty good, however today, I did not get to eat here... As a single mom, the only way I'm able to treat my kids to a meal out, is to use coupons, so I walked into this location with a promotion offer on for a BOGO free entree on the Rewards App on my tablet. This was the 1st time I'd used the app, or I would have just printed the coupon at home. Although she could clearly see the offer, the manager/owner, Mimi, would not honor it, because I hadn't loaded the correct page with the code #. I asked her if I could access the store's WiFi, to download it, but she refused. I asked if she could call another store to get the code, she refused. I asked her if she could, PLEASE, just use her phone to get the code, She still just FLAT-OUT REFUSED TO HELP a customer in need. She told me to drive to League City (20+ mins away) and THEY could help me. I said, "Seriously, ma'am, I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years; I just drove 20 mins to get here, and my children are starving; There are several options, here, for you to help me, WHY are you being so unreasonable??" After 10 mins of pleading with this nasty little woman, I was at the point of tears, which is when she told me to leave, or she would call the police!! I LOST IT!!! I"m not proud of myself, but as I left, I cursed her out very loudly!! So, I went to another store about 10 minutes away, and the young man IMMEDIATELY granted my humble request for help!! My faith in humanity was restored, as he gently assisted me to log into the store WiFi & retrieve the offer!! As I waited for my food, I told him of my horrific experience at the La Porte store. When I was finished he said, "Let me guess, if was Mimi, right?" When I said yes, he & a couple other employees who overheard, laughed out loud & it turns out Miss Mimi has quite the reputation for being a nasty employer AND for terrible service... We came to eat here at around 8:45 on march 4th and there was a very rude customer, who didn't like the way his sandwich was made. He threw what can only be described as a temper tantrum. The night crew did everything in their power to make this gentleman happy, including remaking his sandwich twice, and offering him his money back. I came to this location at 11:29 am and ordered a kid's pepperoni pizza. As I was eating my last piece of pizza, I bit into a black hair. I immediately became sick to my stomach and spit what was in my mouth out in to a napkin. I took the food, my receipt, and form of payment up to the cashier to request a refund for this absolutely disgusting experience. I had to spit out the contents from my mouth in front of a coworker and a room full of people, which was very very embarrassing. A young man with long curly hair came to the counter and asked what I needed. I told him there was a hair in my food. He took my food, went to the back and showed it to a bunch of other coworkers. They all joked about whose hair it could be. I was left standing at the counter with no resolution. The young man finally came back after several minutes and asked if I wanted another pizza. I told him that I had lost my appetite and that I wanted a refund. He went to the back and told this to all the staff. At this point, I heard them all say "But she ate it all" along with laughing. The young man came back to the counter and told me that they would not give a refund because I ate most of my food. I told him that there was a hair in my food and that the restaurant had to do something to make it right. Finally, the manager (Mimi) came to talk to me. She was very argumentative. She NEVER offered an apology for finding a hair in my food. She only offered me additional food like a bag of chips or another pizza. She told me it was not their policy to give refunds when customers find a hair but eat most of their food. I asked for a refund on a gift card so I could visit another location that I felt would be more sanitary and she continued to refuse. I asked her to provide the number for corporate and she told me to look it up online. I then asked for her name and she reluctantly went to the back to write it down on my receipt. Why would I want more food from a place that I just found a hair in my food? At this point, my appetite was ruined and I was sick to my stomach. That does not make the situation right. It seemed as if it was perfectly fine for a costumer to find hair in their food. I am absolutely disgusted with how I have been treated by the entire staff at this location. Professionalism and courtesy are two words that are absent at this establishment. I will never step foot in this location again. This was all over $4.50! read more

I have against my better judgment continued to visit this location, but no more. The management is rude and non-existent. The staff is completely worthless and all about 16 to 18 years old, always on their cell phones, and with no care in the world for customer service. I have waited as long as FORTY-FIVE MINUTES for an order for three combos. Employees have refused to get the manager when requested and the manager has also refused to come and speak with me when asked. My daughter has found hair in the food and was PHYSICALLY ILL for two days after eating a ham sandwich they made. At the bare minimum you can expect them to get your order wrong just about every time. Whatever Chick-fil-a is doing they need to take a queue from them. They NEVER mess up our order, are fast, and most importantly very customer service oriented.
