Supreme pizza
Amanda R.

I always enjoy my meals at Schlotzsky's. Normally, I get the turkey bacon club sandwich and add onions. SO GOOD! I have never been disappointed. I love their sourdough bread. On Wednesdays, they have BOGO pizza deals. Today, I got the supreme and bbq chicken pizza. Two pizzas for less than $9.79 plus tax! I will take it! They loaded both with all the toppings. The only downside is when the drive thru line is packed, it will take a while to get your food. If you order online and pick up inside, it's pretty fast service.

Flat Bread Pizza & Chz Pizza (free with coupon).

Great location! Consistent service, above average food quality and a clean restaurant. We're a big fan of their flat bread pizza & sandwiches, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. For the first time we bought a box of Cinnabon cinnamon rolls. They were ok, good enough, but not like getting them at the actual Cinnabon store :) Fabulous coupons come in the junk mail & they offer ongoing specials.

Been eating here as long as this place has been in business. In the 70's they actually served Canadian Moosehead beer and the drinking age was 19. (Another State not Texas). Too bad that's not an option any more. Damn nationwide rule changes. This location has been renovated in that last year and is really a nice fast food restaurant. They have added new menu items since the last time I was here and are rather tasty! No beer though only Fuze soda pop and tea products. (They never offered beer here). The French dip sandwich is really good as is the Sicilian or the Tuscan. However, I always go back to the Original. It's my die hard favorite and difficult to mess up unless you add red onions. The Louisiana Hot sauce in the silver packets adds a nice flavor to any bite of food. Recommend you eat this on every bite! Since I have frequented this business across multiple states including years, have fond memories, it's time to be honest. This location has the best service and consistently in food. It's always packed at night time (6:30 PM till closing). For fast food it's a solid 5. Not going to defend my choice either. This place is always spot on.

Loaded Baked Potato Soup

Okay so, I have an addiction to this place. High Quality foods. Highly recommend the spicy turkey bacon and the loaded baked potato soup. Delicious and yummy. You'll love it. Promise.

So I places an order (using GrubHub) and I ordered a small Turkey Original with heavy mayonnaise and no red onions. So what do they send me? A small Turkey Original with meat and cheese only! No mayo at all, and no lettuce, tomatoes, olives, etc. And, when I called and let them know what they did their response was "we will give you a free Turkey Original next time you come in... looks like I got a $20 (with fees) plain-Jane sandwich. I would have done better to order a pre-made sandwich from a convenient store as it would have been more flavorful!!!

However, when he went to the place and ordered the pizza, he realized this wasn't the place he remembered! I am SO glad he got the place wrong! This is probably my new go-to pizza place!!! The pizza was DELICIOUS! We ordered traditional types, but I got a small Chicken Florentine (with tomatoes added) for myself and LOVED it! The prices were very reasonable, also. We will be back for sure!!!

It honestly took me right back to old school Pizza Hut, that thicker, slightly greasy, cheesy in a nostalgic way kind of thing. If that's what you're after you'll probably be into it. Not fancy but it does the job. Here's my problem though. There was a metal disc left inside our pizza box, sitting right under the pie. I know kitchens get busy and stuff happens, but a chunk of metal in the box with the food we're about to eat is not something I can just laugh off. That's a safety issue. It made me wonder how carefully they're checking what actually goes out the door. Two stars for now. The pizza has potential and the nostalgia is real, but they need to fix their quality control before I order again.

The house Manhatten was delicious with subtle adjustments to the traditional recipe. The Arancina Tradizionale is a fried ball of tasty saffron rice, stuffed with Bolognese and peas. Its a great appetizer with lots of subtle flavors. As an entree I had the Cacio E Pepe, the famous pasta prepared in a wheel of pecorino cheese and covered in fresh ground black pepper. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the cheese was creamy and mild, and the pepper nicely balanced the richness with a mild spice. I ordered shrimp on the side and it was well seasoned and nicely charred. My wife had the geilled salmon and loved it. We didn't really have room for dessert, but since everything else was so good, we couldn't resist trying the Tiramisu and Strawberry panna cotta. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. Be prepared for European style service and you will leave satisfied.

The menu I think had a good variety of entrees to choose from, and we both ended really liking the dishes we ordered. I ordered the pasta bolognese, and it was great. The pasta was cooked right and the sauce not super over powering. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. My only complaint was that seating is a little cramped, and everyone including the restaurant staff had to maneuver around chairs, etc. but other than that we really enjoyed our visit.

That pizza box was so heavy, you knew you were getting your moneys worth. It was cooked well, the crust was a good thickness - not too thin, not too thick. It had a buttery taste and just the right bake on it. We gave it a high thumbs up for the sausage content. They didn't use sausage "crumbles", the pizza was packed with chunks of sausage patties. As for the other ingredients . . . onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and olives - it was a nice and even amount packed into every bite. The amount of fresh mozzarella cheese was excellent as well. The tomato sauce is more on the sweeter side, something I prefer but my husband didn't care for it all that much. He still agrees that this place has a very good deep-dish and the price was very fair. Since finding this place we have returned 3 more times to order the XL Supreme Deep Dish pizza. We look forward to trying the other things on the menu when we return.

I ordered the Thom's Favorite from DoorDash and my deep dish still arrived hot, fresh, made to my specifications (extra sauce and well done crust) and absolutely delicious. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the sauce is very sweet, but after a couple of bites I got accustomed to it. The pizza couldn't have been anymore jam packed with high quality toppings and the extra cheese was so gooey I had to cut it with kitchen shears, exactly as it should be!!! The crust was perfectly cooked and wasn't droopy or undercooked whatsoever. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity you get compared to the other deep dish places I've ordered from. I'll be ordering again VERY SOON!
