My purpose of visit was for a simple watch battery change; I was charged $55.00 for a watch battery! The proprietor fed me a cock and bull story about how they have "special machines" that would not invalidate my warranty, I don't have a warranty, and any jewelry shop has the same machinery capable of removing the back of a watch. She was overbearing on the sale technique, and when it finally came time to pay the piper, she charged me another $5.00 to use my credit card.
