Service is lightening fast, like I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I don't even know how she changed my battery so fast, but she did. I like how they record your name and phone number in their computer system as it's a one year warranty on the battery and if the battery dies before 1 year you can just go back and they can look it up in their system instead of you having to find the receipt. They will replace the battery for free in this situation. The watch battery is $10.45 and it's $2.50 to reseal the watch, so $12.95 total, plus taxes. The store is next to the Tim Hortons.

The owner didn't seem the least bid perturbed that the shank had opened up. Two months after this 'repair' a large crack developed on the shank and it was beginning to heave, for lack of a better word. Having had enough, we FedExed the ring to the original maker in TO. They were in disbelief that the resize had been attempted using gold. The bottom of the ring would have to be removed and replaced with a piece of platinum at a cost of $800+tax+shipping. Back to the 'Factory' for the third time. Result - ring was not finished to correct size and the euro-shank, which is designed to prevent the ring from spinning around the finger, has almost disappeared. This has been, by far, the most unethical, deceitful experience with a jeweller we have ever come across. Caveat Emptor.
