For our wine tasting I ordered a Summer Flight which consisted of white wines & rosé. My favorite was the Coalescense, we ended up getting two bottles to bring home with us. My husband got the Red Flight. We were more impressed with their white wines than the red, just our personal preference for grown in this area They also have some light bites to order, but we just stuck to wine for this visit. We definitely will be back to this little spot and maybe even stay in the inn, hopefully on a warm day so we can sit outside and spend some more time just taking in the tranquility of this little vineyard.

The hostess mentioned they welcome dogs 40 lbs and under, although I did see a dog well over 40 lbs. Dogs are allowed both indoors and outdoors. My dog barked, and the hostess snapped at us. Ordered: DRINKS: - 2024 Horse Sparkling Cabernet Franc: I like how this red wine is lighter and has a bubbly characteristic of a sparkling wine. - Strawberry Apple Juice - 2024 Horse Sparkling Red Blend: this one has more body and I like how the bubbles make it refreshing. It was fairly warm outside, so we chose to sit on the patio, which was beautiful, enclosed, and had heaters. We each enjoyed a tasting and each glass was more enjoyable than the last. We did not have a reservation but walk ins are gladly accepted. Our party all ordered flights and each was a generous pour. We also ordered some chocolates to go with our wine on the recommendation of our server ( and it was an excellent choice). Our server was friendly and engaging and very knowledgeable about the wines ( and chocolate) ). There is inside seating along with a beautiful tasting room set in a very modern decor. The bottles of wine are reasonably priced and they have a good selection of reds and whites. Definitely put this vineyard on your tour stops.

The Barnyard Adventure is a paid area ($28.95 per person on weekends), but with eight acres packed full of things to do, it's worth every penny. To put the size in perspective ... it's like exploring six football fields lined up together! The highlights for the kids included getting up close with a variety of farm animals, a trike track, sports zone, and multiple playgrounds, pig races, a musical hayride ... there truly is something for all ages. The atmosphere is lively, especially with those pig races and musical hayride tours. My niece and nephew were totally engaged from start to finish. There are plenty of food stands throughout the property with the classic farm favorites. Apple cider donuts (my personal fav), popcorn, ice cream, and coffee stands for the grown-ups. Speaking of adults, a huge bonus is the vineyard right on the property. I treated myself to a glass of rosé to enjoy while the kids played, which was a nice addition. It does get busy, but the whole setup is well organized that it does not feel too crowded. Barnyard Adventure is one of those rare places that charms both kids and adults, making it a perfect fall or weekend family destination. I can't wait to come back next year for more memories (and donuts) with my niece and nephew!!

The vineyard has grown over the years with a new tasting room having been built including a patio and outdoor seating area. There is a good selection of wine with most having won awards for taste and quality. This is a family run business and one of the family is usually present for any questions. Joining the Wine Club is also an option for receiving a regular selection of wines throughout the year and the potential for discounts on purchases. The pictures that may be attached to this review are many years old from a previous post/review and are of the old building/tasting room. I choose not to remove them for nostalgia purposes. You will be able to see how the vineyard has grown over the years.
