Inside, you're greeted by a fun, welcoming space featuring vintage video games and long, family-style picnic tables--many of which were filled with guests playing board games. The bartender was very cool and knowledgeable about the beer. I had two half-pints, and honestly, they might be some of the best brews in the area. Toward the back, I discovered a separate performance space with its own independent kitchen--where I grabbed a tasty burger. Open mic night was underway, and the artists performing were genuinely talented. The entire space is beautifully decorated with a unique and inviting aesthetic. I really liked the vibe overall.

To paraphrase "To appropriately taste a good beer you need more than a few ounces. Otherwise, you have a variety of flavors intermingling and not experiencing the beer for what it is". So key is to be immersed in your beer of choice....and yes, you can sample any beer ahead of time so you get the one you want. Truer words were never spoken. We thoroughly enjoyed our beer choices (Oblivion nitro black lager, Long Shadow bourbon barrel aged baltic porter, Apropos a saison for or from the Gods and Quintessential a noble German pilsner). You think I remembered the beer names by heart. I will let you think that or....fess up and divulge I had to take a pic of the offerings so I could let family and friends (and you) to not miss out on any of these. We will be back for another nitro and then some. Hopefully, before the rest of you. Enjoy!

Went to the riverwalk Sunday as they had an event for pride. Finally found my friends and I think there were 2-3 other groups there. So I felt obliged to order as I was at their pride event. Ordered a cocktail and a cheeseburger. $15 for the cocktail and $13 for a cheeseburger The cocktail arrived and it was very small but I don't think had any alcohol . It was like a cranberry spritzer and nothing special but with a dried flower sitting on top? Made me uncomfortable because where did that come from??? Now the burger. Not everyone puts mayo on their burger, but what they brought was a bun with a sliver of tomato and a small patch of lettuce. No fries (ok, they didn't promise) but a bag of potato chips. The burger looked like it came directly from a frozen box and thrown on the grill. It was dry and unseasoned. It came with a packet of ketchup, mustard and relish. I was thinking they got it wrong and gave me the condiment pack for a hot dog, but when I requested mayo they told me that they don't have it. I'm very sorry that I didn't send it back because the dry burger with no flavor tasted like cardboard. I didn't want to make a scene, but instead I left feeling angry and disappointed. I went expecting a good time and left feeling pride gouging and that they should have either learn to make a tasty burger or leave it off their menu. Note: I have been there many times with groups and had pizza which I thought was decent. Yesterday I felt like they stole my joy

My husband had the chipotle ranch chicken. My burger was decent. The bacon was smoked...no crunch, but it was good. . The fries were really interesting, I really enjoyed them. My husband was not a fan of his. First, the top bun was flipped...we have no idea why. The breading came off of the chicken after the first bite. The sandwich had no flavor. He wondered if he read it correctly, because he did not taste any heat, yet it is called "chipotle ranch...". Why do we fear heat? Also, the bacon jam spilled all over his plate. He did not eat it. Very messy.

This is a very cute little brewery with very good beer. They have lots on tap and great service. It is quite small, but they do have seating set up (with some cute picnic tables outside in the summer and even live music!). I tried and loved the blueberry beer and am looking forward to coming back to try some more. My only complaint is the water situation - we were there on a very hot day and the only available water was in a big Gatorade cooler (and it smelled a little funny when it came out into the cup). Just bring your own water bottle, and you will be fine. It's about the beer anyway, right? We can't wait to come back again soon!

The parking lot may seem small but it has only been so full once that I had to wait for a space to open up. This is the local place where you can get a bunch of your necessities. I don't think it is the place where I could ever get everything I need for my shopping list. But it does have some produce, meat, frozen food and ice cream. They have a small curated selection of alcohol too. Because it's so small just about everything is either a heavily used item or it is a careful curation of choices that they are offering. The store has always been clean and organized when I'm there. Which is amazing because I don't see people roaming around doing this task. I don't think I have ever heard customers verbally confront each other in the store (doesn't mean it doesn't happen, I just have not witnessed it). It just seems to be a little more laidback than the corporate grocery stores. As a local business, I try to shop there and support them. They are a vital part of our community. We have a lot of people who want to walk or bike to get their groceries and they can here. Prices are reasonable. They could be obscene because of their size and location but they are not interested in going that route. That speaks volumes to the store owners and management. I'm a member of a local civic organization and we regularly ask them for their help with prizes for our fundraising etc. They really do an amazing job and give back to the community. I cannot imagine a reason why I wouldn't want to shop there other than I can't get everything there. The benefits outweigh that though. An added bonus is that you will be paying an actual clerk that will greet you and be nice throughout the process!!
