My mind is clearer, I have more energy, and I feel more confident. My values around money and self-worth have transformed. The owner Laura helped customize my retreat after a thorough intake call. First was my Shamanic Healing with Kalyani, where I experienced massive energetic clearings, realignment, and the release of a dark energy that had been with me since childhood. My connection with Source was fine-tuned, work was done on my solar plexus, and my fight-or-flight mechanism was reset. Next, I had a session called Releasing Issues in the Tissues with Donza, which included astrology, psychological insights, and exceptional bodywork/massage, all while rewiring unconscious limiting beliefs. My third three-hour session, Money Values with Donza was broken up into two days. This healing excavated limiting beliefs about money, work, and sales and rewired them! Immediately after the session, a life-changing opportunity came in for me! Each session was extraordinary in its own way. The combination of energetic and psychological work allowed me to dive deep, realize my unconscious blocks, and help rewire them. I am a healer by trade and work with people daily, and it was a blessing to prioritize my inner work. I've been on this journey since 2017, and there's always more clearing, learning, and healing to do. I feel like a million bucks!

My team was exceptional, gave their all, educating me on the underlying causes and how to heal from grief. The fantastic support and new ways I learned will allow me to transform my body and life. This is still one of my favorite places in the world and my previous review still applies, but the…read moreprice, my partner's (first!) experience, the service, and the products out of stock made me reconsider my rating. First of my concerns is the price of a day pass, which is now over $180 for only three hours. I'm not sure if/how they enforce this (we don't check in/out at any point), but having to constantly check the clock is the opposite of relaxing. For that price, it should offer all-day entry. Secondly, my last visit was poorly stocked. The piles of towels have been reduced, and sandals had to be pulled out of a locker. The sunscreen pump was empty in the co-ed area, and I had to notify the front desk as I could not find an attendant. It appears their partnership was ended with the skincare company that used to provide products at the vanity, and the iced towels by the steam room were quickly sitting in a bowl of water. Third, the service was brusque. My tour was given by an attendant (Aaron) who seemed strangely nervous, but my partner did not receive a tour at all. Her attendant just said, "here's your locker," and left. My partner had to seek out and ask the attendant (who was now giving a tour to a different guest) for sandals and was brushed off. She ended up getting lost multiple times, as the hallways and doors can be confusing at first. When I went to report the sunscreen, the front desk attendant interrupted me with her hand and said, "sunscreen, got it," and got on the phone, so I couldn't even tell her about my girlfriend's lack of an orientation tour. Finally, it's been years, but they used to have drinks available. One of my favorite Hawaiian memories involved sipping on a chocolate banana smoothie by the pool. Now the cafe is a gift shop with almost nothing for men, and when I was there, no one running it. I still love being here and enjoying the gorgeous amenities - going nude in the men's area and cycling between the sauna / rainfall shower / whirlpool jacuzzi / steam room is bliss.

They used to cover the whole day. The thing that is the most frustrated though is that there is an automatic service charge for "service providers" at the spa, but you're not getting a service. The pool and hot tub are amazing, but the vibes of new management and rules and pricing are not. The place used to have the nicest staff, and no restrictions like this around the day pass. Sad to have seen it change.

On our first morning here we called the Montage to see if they had any rooms available. They said…read morethey get that a lot from Ritz Kapalua guests. For reference, I would put properties like Dove Mountain Ritz or Niko Japan Ritz at a 10 in terms of overall experiences. If we're using those as the standard, the Ritz at Kapalua gets rated a 3. (For reference we are Marriott Ambassador and Titanium Elite, respectively) The pros: Located at Makaluapuna point in Kapalua, there is excellent whale watching from the cliffs. There's Oneloa beach next door with Ironwood cliffs for a nice daily walk. The cons: The folks staying here act like they've never been anywhere. Truly abhorrent behavior. This is not your home, this is a public space. Act accordingly. As a result, I think the staff are just fresh out from dealing with entitled haoles and it shows. I dont blame them but the Aloha is severely lacking as a result. It's noticeable and a bummer. When we arrived at 10 pm, the valet asked us if we wanted a cart for our luggage. At a Ritz its customary to have an associate who handles getting luggage to your room. Strange first impression that made sense as time went on. Many of the associates seem like they are temp or maybe new. The rooms are TIRED. Like 20 years past their prime tired. Room cleaning is at an absolute minimum. Turn down service is literally pulling one corner of your bed sheet down and closing the curtains. I think they are understafffed. This location needs to shut down and and undergo a major reboot and probably needs new management. The restaurants are very mediocre and the prices are absurd. At the spa, we had to endure listening to a DJ blast Soula Boy remixes in the outdoor relaxation area like it was Cancun on Spring Break. Once again, did I mention how poorly behaved the guests are? This was the worst part of the experience by far. Ive generally avoided hotels in the islands preferring a private home rental and I will absolutely avoid this one in the future. The brand name should represent something, but here it does not. Dont waste your resources here. If there had been anywhere else on the island to stay this week, we would have.

Julie does so many things - hands, nails, lashes, so many different types of massages, etc. If I lived in Maui, she would easily be my one-stop shop for everything. Massage - Hands down, probably the best massage I've ever had. She targeted my shoulder and neck area because they were my most knot-filled areas and it was amazing. Her massage and pressure points felt like they had purpose instead of me being randomly punched. I had to force myself to keep my eyes open so I wouldn't fall asleep and not be awake to enjoy the benefits. She also gave really great advice and educated me about certain pressure points to take with me to future massages. Lashes - Refills looked even better than what I remembered having. Overall - I feel like Julie got the short end of the stick. The $170 price for the best 90-minute massage and lash refill for the quality I received in return was phenomenal and I can't wait to go back to her for all of my beauty needs when I'm in Maui. Thank you, Julie!

I emailed with Dr. Shannon Siddel weeks in advance to arrange our massage appointment. She was very quick to respond, professional and friendly. My husband and I scheduled 2 90 minute massages and each cost $110 which is .. how massage should be priced. My husband had Dr. Siddel as his therapist and was very pleased. I had another therapist named Craig who was FANTASTIC! I usually request female therapists but at the last minute the female therapist I had scheduled had to cancel and I was scheduled with Craig. I highly recommend him. He had a very intuitive touch and is just the right amount of communicative. Time slipped away as it's want to with massage appointments (why is that?) and I felt renewed, relaxed and awakened when I left. Their office is small and definitely not a resort atmosphere but if all you care about is being in a safe clean place with a skilled therapist - this is it. Cash or check is preferred here because their "square" credit card functionality is "on and off" due to their location i the shopping center but an ATM is located just downstairs.
