Many items to choose from....clothing and housewares. I was limited on any large purchase due to luggage space but scored a pair of leather cowboy boots and some household smalls. They were supposed to call me to schedule this time today when they were to deliver my bed for tomorrow. I called the store, and a rude girl named Michelle answered and said it was on a "will call" status. Meaning, they never ordered the mattress. What a sham. She supposedly claims they're delivering it on the 24th, which is not the day Ken had booked. She rudely goes "Well there is no room on our trucks for your order." How the hell is there no room when it was ordered a week ago????? Don't go here. Don't waste your time. I'm wondering if they are even going to deliver it. Oh- and the "Michelle" character claimed to be a manager. I am Very disappointed.

This Riverdale store is awesome!!…read more I purchased a hairbrush straightener at the Costa Mesa, CA store in September while traveling for work and threw away the packaging and receipt at my hotel there. The product quit working completely a few days ago. I contacted the manufacturer and they said I would need a purchase receipt to replace it. So I went to the Riverdale, UT store to see if they could pull my receipt. Instead, they offered to exchange it! I received a brand new hairbrush straightener and it was on sale for $10 off, so they gave me the money back on my credit card!! Amazing customer service!! I will be back to this store!!

0/5 One of the most…read moreridiculous customer service experiences I've ever had. I ordered a TV stand from Bed Bath & Beyond and they sent me the WRONG COLOR. Because this was a large piece of furniture, returning it was already a huge inconvenience. But instead of simply correcting their mistake, I was told they needed "proof" that I received the wrong color because I hadn't taken a picture of it before returning it. Seriously? I RETURNED THE TV STAND. If I had received the correct color, WHY WOULD I BE RETURNING IT?! Because I didn't think to take photographic evidence of THEIR mistake before sending the item back, they told me they couldn't refund me or send me the correct color because they couldn't verify that I had actually received the wrong one. Then, even after I returned the stand, the nightmare still wasn't over. I was told they needed to contact the warehouse to confirm it had been returned before they could refund me. After that, I spent WEEKS contacting customer service over and over again trying to get my $160 back. Every time I reached out, I was dealing with a new person and basically had to explain the entire situation all over again and beg for MY OWN MONEY back. At that point, you have the merchandise back. Why am I still chasing you for a refund? I understand companies need return procedures, but this was excessive. Bed Bath & Beyond sent me the wrong item, I returned the item, and somehow I was still treated like I needed to prove myself before they would give me my money back. The amount wasn't even the biggest issue--it was the principle and the amount of my time that was wasted. A company made a mistake with my order, got its merchandise back, and then made ME spend weeks trying to get $160 returned to me. Absolutely exhausting. I will never order furniture from Bed Bath & Beyond again.

We found the Purple Showroom very helpful in helping us navigate the pre-Christmas sale on…read moreaccessories while being low pressure-- we took a couple visits there to decide what products would fit our needs best. Plus they added on an extra 5% discount because my wife is a public teacher. We purchased three of their top-of-the-line Harmony pillows and a seat cushion. One shortcoming is that they didn't/don't keep all accessory product in stock at the Showroom itself. Because two of the pillows were in the newest 'tall' thickness (recommended because of our height and way we sleep) we had to have them shipped directly to us. No worries: they were for Christmas presents and everything arrived well in time. I add my review now because I had to use their 90-day satisfaction warranty after purchase. After a couple weeks of use the taller thickness was causing me neck pain. The Showroom wasn't able to just let me exchange products, but through customer service via telephone we were able to successfully get the product exchanged: However it was a month's-long hassle because I had to call them twice. After two weeks of non response following first call they said they had a slight delay post-holiday getting the replacement part back in stock. After my second call they sent an entirely new pillow at the 'normal' height right away and paid for return shipping, too. A couple weeks after that the 'normal height' pillow insert arrived again out of the blue--which they just told us to keep. Most likely they crossed actions from both calls due to internal system tracking or communication issues. Or maybe they went the extra mile. LOL I was inclined to give that a three-star experience. Yet I move my star rating up a notch because the issue was ultimately resolved and the other products we bought were a great fit from the get-go. Everybody in the family loves their Purple products! (I'm very happy with the pillow height now-- yet they said if the 'normal height' still didn't work for me to please let them know and I could try the 'low height' option.) Plus I give them four stars because the original purchasing experience at the Showroom was so pleasant.

NORTHERN COMFORT FURNISHINGS STORE - SMALL CLAIMS On 3 April…read more2010, my wife and I went to Northern Comfort Home Furnishings, 3581 N. Highway 126, Farr West, UT 84404, 801-732-0110, to buy bar chairs. We had done business there a couple of times before and were quite pleased with the furnishings we had purchased. Darrell Rasmussen (Owner & Manager) stated that he had 65"SHARP LCD Flat Screen TVs (LC65E77UM) for sale at $999.99 plus tax and would have the TV delivered within three weeks. I used my Visa for the purchase of the bar stools and TV, along with a store credit of $168.00 from a return purchase a number of months prior. After not receiving the TV within three weeks or a call from Northern Comfort, I called Darrell. Darrell stated that it would be two to three weeks more before the TVs would arrive at the store. After three more weeks and not receiving the TV or a call, I spoke to Darrell and he stated that there were issues with the purchase from China and the import paperwork to California showing that this was a gift. Customs held up the shipment in California and declared that Northern Comfort would have to pay import taxes and shipping to receive the TVs. I stated that I would be patient and let this play out due to the bargain on the TV. On Monday, 21 Jun 2010 after no calls from Darrell I called him to credit the Visa. I didn't follow-up until after receiving a Safety Manager position on 20 July 2010 with Gold Canyon Mining & Construction in Battle Mountain, NV, I called Darrel and requested the money again prior to arriving at the job site in Nevada on 27 July 2010. Working 6/12s or more, I was not able to follow-up with Darrell until 13 Oct 2010 when I looked on my internet bank account and realized that the money had not been deposited. I then called and asked Darrell why he hadn't called me or credited the money back on my Visa Card. Darrell stated "Why should I call you. I paid you back in late July 2010 after we had spoken." Not to feel like a complete idiot, I stated that I may have overlooked my account and would double check it. I finished the call and went directly to my internet Visa Account to make sure that I had not made a mistake...there was no mistake! I called back a few days later and he stated that he was having problems with the Card Company he was working with and that he was trying to work this out with them and he would call me when this was resolved...Darrell never called. I then called Darrell 19 October 2010 and he stated to bring my Visa Card in and would credit the money back on the card Friday, 22 October 2010 at around 1200. I said that being out of state that I would have my wife bring the card in. I called Friday before 1200 and spoke to Darrell to ensure that he was going to be there when my wife arrived. He said that he was going to his daughters function and that it would be better for him to come in on Saturday, 23 October 2010, after 1000. I then told Darrell that I would now be traveling from Nevada to take care of the situation. My wife and I arrived at Northern Comfort around 1050 and his associate (Large Latino Gentleman) stated that Darrell had not been in that morning. I asked him to call Darrell and he stated that he would have to email him. We waited 20 mins. with no answer back from Darrell. I then left my Cell # with the Latino Man and asked him to have Darrell call me as soon as he arrived at the store. We received no call that day from Darrell, so I called Northern Comfort at 1640 and asked for Darrell. The Latino answered and stated that Darrell had been in the store and he was expecting us back in later that day. I said, "That is why I gave you my phone number to have Darrell call me." I then stated that I would see Darrell in court. I then filed a Small Claims Affidavit and Order in Roy/Weber Justice Court, State of Utah to be served through the Weber County Sheriff. The Court hearing was held on 7 Dec 2010 at 1400. Just a few minutes prior to the Court Hearing, Darrell called the court and stated that he had hired a lawyer and asked for a delay in the hearing. Judge Brown was presiding and declared a default on the Defendant for not attending the hearing. Judgment was in my favor for $2321.49 total judgment. I then FedEx'd Darrell Rasmussen a copy of the Court Orders Judgment on 9 December 2010 with my phone number on the FedEx Billing and have never heard from him. Later in December 2010, Darrell then filed a Notice to Appeal to District Court. Darrell didn't pay the fee even after I went forward with a Notice of Unpaid Appeal Fee on March 22, 2011 stating that he has 14 days to pay or appeal is dismissed. The District Court has remanded the case back to the Justice Court. I'm now preparing a motion and order in supplemental proceddings to bring Mr. Rasmussen to court, to determine what income and assets he has. Darrell Rasmussen is a crooked fraud with a license and do not do any business with him.
