They said to call today for pricing, and they will be "as cheap as possible", so I did. $110 for the Mega. Missed out on the preorder in favor of trying to support the local business. Scalper prices. Won't be seeing my business again.

The staff(sorry, I forget my own name some times) helped us pick "Once Upon A Time". 10/10, on choice, would destroy my niece's fairy tales again. There's something very fulfilling about introducing a dragon to a perfectly beautiful and pristine kingdom... Either way, it will be hard to stop in often as we live in Ohio but we'll definitely visit again when we're in the area.

Prices were fair and options were plentiful. Met a few friendly people on my visit and would return to this nice local store. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me was a lack of used, consignment or out of print games. I know that's a rarity so it's not a negative, just worth noting.

Lots of classic cabinets available for collectors and I am sure they can help you locate parts to service cabinets as well. We are in the "streaming and on-demand" age, but there is something oddly satisfying about inserting a video game cartridge into a classic system to play for hours on end. There seemed to be a TON of inventory here, ps2, ps3, xbox, even Genesis games! I was immediately drawing to the NES and SNES games... and gameboy games since I still have working systems at home. Go enjoy a bevvy at Rock Hill Brewing (close by) and then meander over here for hours and hours of browsing and or finding cool items for collecting and/or playing. Definitely will be back!

Grand Slam is the best card store I've been to. As an avid Magic: The Gathering player, I find…read moretheir boxes of 10¢ commons and uncommons the best place to shore up my decks. The owner frequently gives great deals to regular customers, and it has a relaxed atmosphere. They also sell used video games, sports cards, Pokemon/Yugioh, and have a small selection of comic books and toys. In addition, they have great prices on card and comic storage boxes. The only cons with Grand Slam are the prices on rares tend to be a little high, but this is offset by the savings on commons and uncommons. Also, the hours tend to change at different times of the year which can be good or bad. And last, they don't appear to have a website. But overall, Grand Slam is a fantastic store that appeals to many different types of people. Highly recommended!
