Sbarro is fine. I don't particularly think that their pizzas or pastas are exceptional, and I actually put on quite a bit of hot sauce and cheese to get the flavor of their food to where I want it. It especially isn't cheap, but their portions are huge, so if you just want a whole heap of food, this could be the place to get them. I do admit that I find myself wanting a deep dish pizza sometimes, but I usually fight the urge and get better elsewhere.
That said, this branch in Cubao isn't exactly the most fun place to eat in. It may be convenient that it's right along the SM-Ali Mall walkway, but it's beside the ramp and they have no natural lighting, so it can be a little dim and dreary. It's also always little warm here than you would want, since they have those heating lamps and big ovens right inside the restaurant, so the AC has a harder job to do.
If you want to have to hide away and have a big slice of okay pizza, you could get into the Ali Mall Sbarro, but otherwise, there are nicer places to eat in Cubao. Trust. read more
