Was hoping for a pleasant dinner with family at Cibo Robinson's Magnolia. Family had enjoyed their…read moremeal and I still didn't get mine until we brought it to their attention. I was famished! They said 4 minutes but apparently they haven't made it. We asked for the check then they come and bring my order. Had a few bites then decided to get it to go. Lost my appetite! So very disappointed! Manager was apologetic and tried to make up. But I was so done with them. She said she would investigate. Whatever..... Would not readily recommend this place to anyone.....

Went here for a late lunch on a not-so-busy Saturday afternoon (after 1pm). First, I'd like to say…read morethat I'm a huge fan of Cibo; my family loves Cibo; my friends and I have loved Cibo for the past 20years. It's good quality food for a decent price. I haven't been disappointed by Cibo until now.... the last two visit at this particular branch, in the past two months have disappointed me and the family. This time, though the service was still polite and friendly, the food was surprisingly subpar. We ordered the usual: spinach dip, mushroom bruschetta, classic spaghetti, porchetta flatbread/pizza....with grape shakes and pomelo shakes. Our spinach dip tasted bland and lacking in spices/seasoning. It wasn't what we were accustomed to. The fruit shakes were too sugary& sweet, even though we all specifically asked for it to be half-sweetened because we would prefer to taste the actual fruit and not just sugar water. The flat bread was soggy and also lacked in flavor (not to mention, BARELY had any porchetta on it); same goes for the mushroom bruschetta (bland and barely any mushrooms). But the worst was the spaghetti. Usually it is flavorful, perfectly al dente but we got just the opposite: over-cooked, borderline mushy and zero flavor, even after we added salt and pepper. It was such a disappointment. I don't know if this particular branch ran out of their spice-blends or spice mixes or whatever, but there's a grocery downstairs and they could've easily bought something. There's never an excuse to serve such subpar meals. Chef Margarita, you need to check out this branch. That's twice it has disappointed. It may turn off other loyal customers.

Who doesn't love Italianni's? I have a special place in my heart for Italian food and for them too,…read morenaturally. Their food always looks divine and when you enter the restaurant it'd be enough to make your mouth water and then your tummy would start to grumble and ask (more of demand) that you fill it and fill it you shall. I've always thought that their serving sizes are big and most of the time I can't finish them, sad to say. Although dining at Italianni's might definitely cost you a pretty penny specially if you go crazy on the orders but admit it, you think it's worth it too. But just to be sure I suggest you check out their menu first before your visit so you have a ball park and also an idea on what you want to get. How was your Italianni's experience?

Nowadays, with the…read moreproliferation of various forms of pizza and lasagna, it's hard to find an authentic Italian restaurant. While Italiani's is actually an American branch, not unlike Sbarro, which also draws on the American-Italian style of influence, the atmosphere of Italiani's captures the mood as a family place where one can enjoy such luxuries in an Italian fashion. Indeed, with their slogan "Eat. Drink. Be Italian", you can have a meal with professional and well-dressed waiters catering to your every desire as you do those three things. When you eat, enjoy their wide selection, not just of pizza and pasta, but of other items as well. When you drink, pull out one of their nice wines. As for being Italian, you may as well live in the moment and enjoy your meal in the wonderful ambiance of Italiani's.
