Delicious chicken shawarma sandwich: generous portion and awesome complementing ingredients. We cannot wait to try the falafel.

Everything we ordered was delicious: * Tofuie Gras: smoked tofu paté with cranberry gel, served on toasted bread * Czech Traditional Svíčková: root vegetable sauce with Carlsbad dumplings, plant-based meat patty, lemon, and cranberry gel * Jackfruit Burrito: pulled jackfruit, smoked corn, chipotle rice, Cheddar, pickled cabbage, black beans, mango salsa, sour cream, and a side salad * Vegan Snickers: chocolate-caramel bar with raspberry sauce and peanuts I would consider becoming vegetarian if I can eat like this for every meal.

It is off a quiet side street down a clean and safe-feeling but still mysterious alley - like its location is a secret. Our reservation was for 6:30 pm and they asked if we thought we'd be done by 8:00 - probably so we wouldn't see the next party taking our table and they wouldn't see us. Let's keep the all the info secure - that's what's best for everyone. If the omnivores find out about this place, the fate of the whole known universe could be at risk. What if everyone wanted to eat at vegetarian restaurants? Crazy, right? VIPs like our family (ha!) sit in the Blue Heaven room where the tables are fire. Seriously- they light up and glow like flaming wood logs with a starry sky above. Even the greatest sorcerers from history would be impressed. Love the theming. Magical. We began our meal with the Small Clear Head starter, featuring "Tofuie Gras", hummus and guacamole. The hummus and guac were both excellent- but the star of the show was the fake foie gras. This is a vegetarian restaurant- no geese were harmed yet the texture was perfect, the taste convincing and the mix with the jelly divine. Wowsa. Loved this dish. I also really enjoyed my Bao Bun Burger. I was going to do the Spinach Chimney but diverted at the last minute because I'd overdosed on this trip on potatoes already, and au gratin was more than I could handle. My daughter liked her Stir-Fry Noodles. My wife was indifferent on her Parmesan Pleasure Burger but I think she was jealous of my Bao Bun. We skipped dessert. Beyond just the wonderful food, there was so much about this restaurant that felt fun, interesting and surprising. Including the bathroom. Behind the toilet there's an opening to a dark empty space - it is truly a creepy void. What's back there? There's also a very old door with a bone-chilling stair down to a dark cellar. What's down there? What about upstairs - what happens there? More mysteries. There's magic in the air at Lekha Hlava Clear Head Restaurant. It is worth a visit, for vegetarians and omnivores too.

Trip Advisor lead us to Jaffa, located inside the mall. We were so warmly welcomed and very well cared for by the staff! We were seated immediately in a cozy booth, which was perfect. We ordered 3 main dishes plus water and soda pop. The waiter also brought out free appetizers of bread, olives, pickles, and a pickled vegetable salad, like cole slaw. My husband said, "This was my favorite meal so far in a Prague" and we are on day 4 of our travels, so 12 meals in! So that's high praise. Everything was so fresh: meat, bread, vegetables, sauces, rice. And the complementary tea our waiter delivered at the end of our meal was very flavorful, and a kind addition! There is on outdoor patio in the center of the restaurant, enclosed in glass walls so visible to diners but open to the air. If hookah is something you enjoy, it appears this is where that is used. We don't smoke or use hookah, but it was interesting to see people using that, while not having to be in the smokey area ourselves. It was completely separate and we couldn't smell anything from that patio. Bathrooms are super clean. We will definitely return to Jaffa for another meal.

We chanced upon a charming mall close to the city center. We all decided to get Lebanese food for dinner at El Emir at the food court which was decent for a food court. $47 for 3 people is a fair price for such a touristy city. I'd rate them no more than 3 stars since the food was just okay. I've definitely had better. My stepson and I both had chicken shawarma (he had the sandwich and I had the plate) and my husband had a grilled chicken on skewers plate. We all thought the seasoning could have been better. The guy at the counter was not the friendliest either. It actually felt rushed. This was in a food court area but the setup is much different than most food courts I've been to. This discourages cross ordering which is actually what I appreciate about food courts.

Servers appear to be Lebonese but they also speaK czech and some english. The food was probably the most disappointing part. Falafel did not taste like normal falafel, it was a bit too vegetarian to taste. It came with 4 pieces, thats it! and for 140 crowns, so overpriced and not good enough for that price. If the falafel was amazing I would be willing to pay this price, but this situation was a huge no. We also ordered the hummus, which was bland, and rather small for a whopping 140 crowns for basically a very small cereal bowl size dish. Both of these dishes together would not be enough food for a normal person to eat for a meal, let alone the two of us. We ended up ordering some of their bread to also eat to fill up, which came out in three small pieces and were not homemade. They were basically out of a bag or something and were from white flour that tasted horrible. Don't get me wrong I love bread, but I even put this one back. To top off my experience they also charge 55 crowns for about 5 ounces of juice! Gotta say, for the type of place it was, with such a nice interior and fancy waiters in nice clothes, as well as good reviews I really was expecting better food and better service. Won't be coming back here.
