First of all, this place is open 24 hours and has to be the best late night food in prague. I've traveled all over Europe and eaten at countless fancy restaurants, tried countless kebabs, at all times of day and night, and this place is the first place I've felt compelled to review. The kebabs are top notch, even at 4 am, and the people working here are some of the friendliest I've ever dealt with. I stayed 5 nights in Prague and ate here 4 or 5 times. The staff's personable attitudes led to me being given various items for free. Turkish tea, rice pudding, etc. I can't say enough about how welcoming this place is to tourists.
As for the food, the kebabs are great and they have a good selection of sauces, including tzatziki which is rare for a place that isn't specifically Greek and serving "gyros". The rice pudding reminds me of the one my grandma from Arkansas used to make. It's that good. The French fries are spicy, delicious, made fresh, and come with your choice of sauce. The only other thing I had was falafel and it too lived up to the high standard set by the rest of the food. If you're a tourist, go into this place with a smile and an open mind and maybe you too will find yourself thinking of a little 24 hour kebab shop as one of the highlights of your trip to Prague. read more
