The first time was understandable...she was sick. The second time, my daughter got to her appointment, only to be turned away because they "didn't have the right color". Why would they not ask what she wanted when making the appointment?? She was in the chair for 6.5 hours, and the color, which was supposed to be royal blue, turned out mermaid blue! The cut was shorter than she wanted, too. The owner had to come back in and fix her color so it was close to what she wanted. My daughter was crying by the time she got home! I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY EVEN TOOK THE MONEY FOR SUCH AN UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE! The only reason I am posting this review is because I'm the one that paid for it. We have had our own small business, and know how important a good review is to a small business, but she should have had some compensation for this totally unsatisfactory experience. We had a terrible experience at the Great Clips location at Milestone Plaza on Pelham Road. Our hair needed serious damage control: my hair was four inches longer on the right side than the left side, and my boyfriend's hair looked like three haircuts pieced together haphazardly. I was worried that I would lose four more inches of my hair (I had three inches cut already) to fix the lopsidedness. My boyfriend was worried he would have to buzz his head before he could have an actual haircut again. Bad haircuts are the worst. Fixing bad haircuts can be a nightmare. Fortunately for us, this Great Clips location was not intimidated by our sad mood or bad haircuts. Tammy was able to fix my hair--she evened out the sides and cut only one additional inch to make things look normal. My boyfriend's stylist asked him questions about his hair and his preferences for styling. He walked away with a haircut that made him extremely happy. We went in stressed, angry, and worried. We left feeling relieved and pleased. Tammy personalized my haircut. She also sympathized with me without speaking ill of her unknown coworkers at the other Great Clips location. The stylists at this location are welcoming, professional, and reliable! The first Great Clips was a sub-par haircut experience that left me feeling like Great Clips is a salon for the incompetent. THIS Great Clips left me applauding Great Clips for providing personalized service at an affordable price. I am very happy with this Great Clips, and I certainly plan to return for future haircuts.

A gap above his ear about the size of a half dollar, so much so you can actually see his pink skin. I'm not sure where this stylist was trained, but surely she could see that this was unacceptable. The other side, actually, looks decent. If he ever thinks about going back here, he'll need to have his head examined.
