However it wasent until I straightened it I saw she butchered my haircut. It was uneven and slanted. I will give someone a second chance any day, but once they need a third they've lost my business for good. I'm just not sure how she never noticed the cut was uneven by the second time I went to her. I had to pay another hair dresser to fix her mistake and she ended up having to cut an additional .5 in off my hair to make it even. I was very disappointed and will never be going back.

Street parking can be a little tricky depending what time of day since it does get busy but I always manage to find a spot regardless. Jess is on the second floor so as soon as i walk in i just go right up, no need to check into the front desk. The aesthetic of the salon is so clean and so modern. Jess always knows my perfect color. The vibes are always awesome and the women are so sweet. Total it's about $115 which I think is super normal and reasonable for the salon in the overall experience in the area. She retouched my roots yesterday and this is where many stylists fail their clients. Processing virgin hair is not that difficult, touch ups however require precision. Whether it's bleaching, relaxing, or color touch ups, many stylists fail to protect the processed hair from previous treatments. Some stylists also go and work on other people or take long breaks while your hair is being processed. I've seen this in salons and have had my hair damaged because of this in the past. These stylists are incredible and everyone comes out looking wonderful. I've also brought my family in for haircuts and have been very happy with the results.

Lucky for me I was able to get an appointment same day as, well you know when you reach "that" point, that it needed to be done yesterday? Yuppers that is where I was at. I had a strict time frame and again Willene nailed it! If there is anything negative it would be that there isn't always someone at the front desk. Oh and the best part? well one of the best parts...I was shocked by the price. Like shocked in a GREAT way. I'm accustom to paying upwards of $300 for a cut, color, style. But last week I went my regular stylist couldn't do it bc my paycheck wouldn't line up. I had a job interview coming up and needed it done. So he recommended another stylist who did a horrible just horrible job. Color is very wrong. I just wanted a trim but I got something weird. I got my eyebrows waxed and she burned my eyelids bad. I didnt want to make a scene I called my regular stylist when I got home and told him. He DID NOT CARE. He argued with me my eyelids and scalp were burning. He was rude and very illegally and ignorantly question my antidepressants. I was shocked. He was my stylist for 5 years. And instead of being kind they refused to refund me any money. Even after I sent a picture if my eye lids. Im planning on suing them. Im so heartbroken that my stylist who I liked so much was so horrible. It is illegal to throw a customers antidepressants in their face. When I had never ever complained before. My eye lids hurt so much. I saw a friend the next day and she grabbed my phone and took a picture.​

Still, she screws up my hair, then tells me her next client is waiting. I said "So exactly what are you telling me"? That's when the crying started. This behavior is totally unacceptable and you as a salon owner need to get the story straight before blaming a client instead of an incompetent hair dresser with emotional problems. I continued to see her almost religiously for the next 4 years, only for eyebrow wax and tint though because I made it a priority after she showed me what she could do with my brows. You see, I am a natural platinum blonde with the same platinum eyebrows, which are basically non-existent without upkeep. Her formula for waxing is remarkably gentle on your skin, and this is coming from someone with extremely sensitive skin. Upon request, her brow tints are on point as well. I came back for her talent, but also for Abigail herself. She is kind, easy to talk to, and makes you feel completely comfortable. As for Derek, he is a nice man who always made me feel welcome, along with the rest of the staff. Although I haven't visited them the last couple years, that has nothing to do with them, and I highly recommend this establishment for all your personal care needs!
