My child got bullied but the school help is outrages…read more my child has came to me a million times saying mommy" I got bullied. I called the school and they just hung up.... My child even went as far as bringing it to the principal office, still nothing. The school then called me and said your child cursed at me, I know my son very well that would have never happened he is a A+ student.... Then he got to such a point where my poor child started punching the bullies, fighting back. I understand that most schools have bullies, but the other school he went to was much better. I am so glad that we live in Texas, the schools are much better here. The staff is also very disrespectful, this school needs much more upgrading and needs completely rude. I am not a Karen but that has also effect my child's life, has now he has autism and his grades have dropped badly.

I came here as a teenager when I was actually taken care of…read more 15 years later, EVERY time I come here, the student always leaves A LOT of color on my skin. No one cares. The director of the school saw how much color was on my skin, and she did not even care. She should not be running that school because all she does is sit in her office and place with er cell phone. The nights I get my hair done, the teacher cross checks the students work. The teacher found numerous errors, but was too lazy to fix the work. She said the student, "just fix it" with out even showing her how. I rather pay the extra 20 bucks for a decent hair cut or color with a groupon.

Dr. Hynes, the Superintendent, Dr. Dally, Principal at River, Dr. Jones, assistant superintendent, etc...has raised the bar in what they expect from the students, and what they are doing for the students and teachers in the school district from double recess, to treating each student as an individual and not as a standardized test score, plus much more to list. When parents from the surrounding towns want their children in Pat- Med school district, and teachers want to work here, it means faith in the Superintendent, Administrators and Teachers...it means that they are all doing something right. Read the write ups in the NY times, DailyNews, USA Today, etc... it's all there. Kudos to Dr. Hynes for making a not so great school district great!
