She learned way beyond my expectations while making friends along the way. She would come home and teach me things that I have long forgotten about animals and space and so on. Her writing skills also blew me away. Miss Amelia and her staff are amazing. As a Mom I could not be happier with Tender Hearts. I just wish it didn't go so fast. I should have signed her up since she was 2!

He has remote learning on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday the school is on lockdown for the following group to have a well sanitized environment. Thursday and Friday in person learning. Ms.Mitchell has morning meeting at 9:30 a.m. afternoon mtg. 1:30 with all the kids for questions or help needed. As a teacher and what is in place from the district is all children are to arrive with masks and signed pass for Covid-19 precautionary questions. In class Ms.Mitchell has put high standards of enforcing children to keep on wearing masks. There have been no cases to Covid with the high priority to rules and regulations being monitored daily. My son loves both aspects of school thus far. Meet the parent was excellent for extra precautionary measure done virtually. Ms.Mitchell is very professional and friendly as my son loves her educational curriculum. She teaches kindness and teamwork. Incorporates behavior modification which is my favorite. Preparing 5 th graders for middle school in being organized and ready for what is to come. All positive with adapting to this new way of education. Wednesday the school is on lockdown sanitizing for the next group. All student have free lunch the district supports the community in these hard and uncertain times.

Learned how to write, read, build healthy relationship, become comfortable being away from home for an entire school day. she entered Kindergarten reading 1st grade level books and confident in making friends. My husband works full time and I have a disability that limits me greatly at times. LICC became the first extra care we needed to support our children's growth. It takes a bill. They are warm and loving people. My youngest began there as an infant, she is now entering preschool there. We are comfortable knowing that she is in their hands. Their grounds are safe and sanitary. They are very serious about the health of their students and faculty. My little one hates leaving for school. She would rather play with her dolls at home all day. She will cry up to the moment she reaches the school. Within minutes, they tell me (because yes, I call. And they never call me annoying...to my face ), she is happy and playing with her friend, learning and singing. Obviously, I can go on and on. They have helped my family in ways we can never repay.

My children have been thriving in this environment and LOVE going to school. The structured educational practices the Starks instilled creates character and confidence the children need as they begin to appreciate this solid foundation of learning to enrich their minds as they embrace the journey of a well rounded education. My kids start school this week and they are super excited about what this year has to offer. They wondered what projects, performances, activities, the teachers have prepared and how they will be picked to participate with classmates. He had a tough time transitioning and eventually we got him to go for a period of 3 months without tears. 6 mos later after winter break, he was horrified going. He screamed, cried and they would call me to speak to him because of how bad it was in hopes to calm him. They would remove him from the class and send him with the director who he had no idea of, in order for the teacher to just continue to teach. It obviously would get bad for any child to go with a stranger. They would then call me to pick him early. I tried to reach out to his teacher multiple times throughout the year in terms of communication and it was extremely poor. The only time I'd get good communication would be if they wanted me to pick him up early ( also stressful for a working parent). In the end, the new director spoke to us and we decided it best to withdraw him. I reached out to teacher to get in touch as to what the heck happened but she wouldn't respond until the director intervened. HORRIBLE SCHOOL and HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION. Do not send your kid here unless he or she knows how to fully speak and even then, they could care less about your child. I was told to ask his doctor about separation anxiety lol. I'm convinced something happened there because he went to a new school shortly after and was thriving. Unfortunately I won't ever know what since my son couldn't properly speak and the teacher was terrible in terms of communicating.

I was able to send both my children to their camp this past summer and they had an absolute blast. I feel a little sad that my children are now both in school and won't be attending this year but I can say for certain that when my 9 month old is of age she will be attending.
