UPK is now 5 days a week 5 hours a day and the kids are expected to learn how to read and write to some extent along with a lot of other requirements. So this program is the right balance of play to let kids be kids while preparing them for the social adjustment. It is a very reasonable priced and very caring school. My daughter is now going there, and my son being very young for the class was quite difficult to handle. However, the school took care of him and never complained. His teachers still see me around and ask how he is doing. Mrs Johansson (the head of the preschool) is great as well and knows every single child and parent in the school by name. You feel like you are a family with them. Make sure to sign your kids ASAP in January/February because their classes fill up quick.

Bryan and George taught him how to take tests. They evaluated his weaknesses and strengths and each week we saw improvement in his ability and self-confidence. Due to Covid so many tests were cancelled. He was only able to take the ACT once but he felt prepared. He just received his results and we are beyond pleased. His composite score increased by 6 points from the diagnostic. We signed on to assist in taking college entrance exams but got so much more. My son felt his test taking in high school also improved. They taught him techniques that will serve him well in college. My only regret is that we didn't find them sooner!
