I bought material and needed help installing tile for the backsplash in my kitchen. I wanted to…read moresurprise my husband who was deployed by having this done before he returned. Luciano from Boodow responded to my Yelp request and came over to provide a quote. I showed him what material I had (tile, grout, spacers and grout float). I also showed him the self-adhesive peel and stick backsplash that I got from Amazon that was peeing off, as well as the tile underneath the stickers, both of which needed to be removed obviously. He provided a quote to me later that day on Sunday 10/18, and let me know his contractor would be there 9am on Wednesday 10/21. I asked if removal and mortar was included via text, and he confirmed yes. By 9:30am on Wednesday no one showed up so I texted him. After back and forth about when to expect his guy, someone finally showed up at 11am. I had 8 boxes of tile: 6 white for the kitchen and 2 gray for a different room. The contractor proceeded to install 4 white and 2 gray in the kitchen, arbitrarily installing them in a mismatched and negligent manner - not even stopping to ask me first about the 2 different colors. He also decided to install the tile right over the old tile. He removed the peel and stick which I could have done, and considered that the removal. This caused the outlets to be sunken in so the outlets are warped. In an attempt to hide his sloppy work, he took it upon himself to go to Home Depot and buy cheater plates to cover it, then grouted around the outlets. He also grouted an inch under the cabinets instead of cutting more tile, which I think is because he had the wrong tool to cut tile, because it came out very jagged. He never ended up using the spacers but took them and the grout float with him when he left. They didn't belong to him. I explained what happened to Luciano. But instead of correcting the issue, he strung me along for 8 days, cancelling appointments to come over, slow to respond, then finally today - he let me know he refuses to fix it, but won't charge me either. I'm out $180 in materials and stuck with a mismatched and sloppy install - because Luciano doesn't want to deal with fixing what his negligent contractor did to my kitchen. Be careful of doing business with this company. They do not take ownership for their mistakes and will find ways to blame the customer instead.

Everyday he had an excuse as to why his team couldn't show up, felt like the weather man. He send a guy one day to level out the floor, but he made a complete disaster. So after texting this loser for 2 weeks straight, I said forget it. I googled how to prep floor for epoxy, and paint it. Discovered that Lowe's sold an Epoxy kit for $125.00. Guess what? I successfully painted my garage floor myself. Really tired of men taking advantage of women, get some manners. Don't think we are stupid enough to fall for your fraud.

Even though I called in the late afternoon, she made it a point to come that evening to evaluate the situation. She sent her cleaning crew the next day and the two ladies did an exceptional job cleaning the house. They were very thorough and when they were finished the house was immaculate. Stephanie did an excellent job supervising and checked in with them several times during the day. She even came to the house in the middle of the day to make sure everything was going well. She is so proud and confident of her workers that she sends a before and after video to the customer.
