My daughter is starting her sophomore year, and we've been very happy with the school so far. She's been involved in a mix of extracurricular activities, and I've loved seeing her discover new interests while building confidence along the way. Western offers so many ways for students to get involved that it's easy to find something that's a good fit. Academically, Western has exceeded my expectations. The AICE program is challenging, and students are encouraged to push themselves while receiving the support they need to be successful. The preparation for AICE exams has been outstanding, which is a tremendous advantage for families looking for a rigorous academic experience in a public high school. The variety of advanced courses also gives students the opportunity to prepare for college in a meaningful way. I've also been impressed by the teachers, coaches and administrators. It's clear they want students to succeed, and they do a nice job recognizing accomplishments and creating a positive school environment. Every student's experience will be different, but if you're looking for a public high school with strong academics, plenty of opportunities outside the classroom and a community that encourages students to grow, Western is definitely worth considering.

This campus is actually middle school and high school. As you drive in, you see this massive field for what I think is suppose to be football games. Although.... being that this school is only 1 year old, it does not have football. I can assure it has volleyball, basketball and baseball and some other sports. I hung back and spoke to some teachers and parents, and they had nothing to but great things to say about the school. This school is assisting with the over crowdedness but it definitely filled up, FAST! This too is a lotto drawing that opened December 4th and runs through the end of January.
