The school truly nurtures independence, curiosity, and confidence in its students. Over the years we've watched Jack grow not only academically but also personally, developing strong communication skills, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning. One of the most special opportunities recently was his participation in the MMUN (Montessori Model United Nations) conference in New York. Seeing students represent their schools and countries on an international stage at such a young age speaks volumes about the quality of education and encouragement they receive at Montessori Institute of Broward. The leadership at the school is exceptional. Ms. E, the principal, creates a warm, supportive environment where students feel valued and inspired. She truly leads with heart and vision. Jack's Grade 4 teacher, Ms. Kay, has also been outstanding--patient, dedicated, and deeply invested in her students' growth. She challenges them academically while also nurturing their confidence and character. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and inspiring school community. Montessori Institute of Broward has played a huge role in shaping Jack into the curious, confident young person he is becoming. Luke aged 5 is also thriving at MIB and i cant wait to see how he progresses.

We have been fortunate to have experienced many great teachers throughout the years in both Parrot and Otter rooms and will continue with the school until sixth grade (or more if they open a middle school). Would highly recommend!

It was this level of comfort that allowed my children to grow within their learning environment, while developing skills for the outside world. 5 stars isn't enough to exemplify what an amazing institution this is.

My son returned home from transportation with a bloody mouth. Because my child cannot reliably communicate what occurred, I calmly asked questions regarding whether an accident may have happened during transportation or student transfer. I did not accuse or blame any employee, driver, nurse, or staff member because I understand accidents can happen. What deeply disturbed me was the response afterward. I received a highly confrontational phone call from Shirley Gil, the headmaster and owner of the school. This was my very first interaction with her after my child had attended the school for an entire school year. Throughout the year, I primarily communicated with other members of administration, my son's teachers, and teacher assistants, many of whom were kind, patient, and supportive toward both my son and myself. I also interacted positively with another administrator named Shirley, who I understood to be the principal, as well as her daughter, and even offered support and advice where I could. When my son first enrolled, I donated supplies to help ensure the school was equipped to support his needs because I genuinely wanted to believe in the environment and support the staff working with special-needs children. That is why this interaction came as such an extreme shock to me. Instead of approaching the situation with professionalism, reassurance, or concern for my child's well-being, the conversation immediately became defensive and accusatory in tone. I felt intimidated simply for asking reasonable questions regarding my son's safety after he came home injured. During the conversation, concerns I raised regarding transportation communication barriers were also dismissed. The driver responsible for transporting children was unable to effectively communicate with me in English and relied on another child to help translate during pickup discussions involving my son. For a school entrusted with vulnerable special-needs students, this raised serious concerns for me regarding transportation communication and student safety procedures. More than anything, this experience has left me questioning my own instincts as a parent. I ignored prior reviews because I believe children with autism deserve grace, patience, understanding, and opportunity, and because autism support is still an area many schools are learning to navigate. I wanted to give people the benefit of the doubt. I wanted to believe my child was safe and cared for. I am sharing this experience because parents of special-needs children deserve transparency, professionalism, compassion, and the ability to advocate for their children without feeling dismissed or intimidated by school leadership. I strongly encourage families to ask detailed questions regarding transportation supervision, communication procedures, incident reporting, and administrative handling of parent concerns before enrolling.

The amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset allows our daughters strive. After completion of her daycare through pre-k studies at PWA, our oldest daughter just won student of the month award amongst her 1st grade class in her new school. The staff anchored by principal Mrs Terri is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we're very thankful to her and the whole team for all the great job.

From yoga to music class, letter sounds or climbing the rock wall outside, she is engaged and continually learning throughout her day. It's not just me who finds PWA to be an outstanding educationally centered preschool. My friend, an elementary teacher in the area, says that children who attended PWA come into her class ready and prepared for kindergarten. In addition to the exceptional learning environment, PWA goes the extra mile to promote a clean and healthy environment. The school is very clean and all children wash their hands when they arrive at school and throughout the day. My daughter likes the food and I like the meal choices/healthy snacks. All of my daughter's teachers have been warm, organized and responsive. I can see what my daughter is learning using the school's communication app. This is a huge plus for me - her teacher uploads pictures throughout the day, we can chat and share documents digitally. My daughter wakes up and wants us to take her to school (even on the weekends). As a working mom, it's such a blessing to find a preschool that not only teaches my child but also genuinely cares about her. Thank you PWA for all you do.

ELA and civics teacher clearly peaked in middle school, an educated guess based on their gossiping with 12 year olds despite being in their mid 30's. ELA teacher can't spell either, too busy dealing with menopause and the fact little boys dont want her. tests and quizzes are given frequently, which is both good and overwhelming. most if not all male students are severly unhygienic lowlifes that watch porn during class. ELA teacher has an odd favoritism towards male students, specifically one male student... wouldn't be surprised to see her on the news. frequent fights. ELA teacher proclaims to practice peace and love and feminism despite practicing and being the antonyms of those terms. civics teacher often marks TESTS and QUIZZES wrong. civics teacher indoctrinates impressionable 12 year olds with his own political beliefs and only speaks the pros of capitalism and cons of communism/socialism. would recommend Ben Gamla if you're a lowlife that doesn't know the difference between there, their, and they're and want to be surrounded by others of the same incapabilities and degeneracy
