I can't even remember how long I've been going to Sophia! After suffering though 3 hours at a former salon for a cut, color and style, Sophia has me out in about 1.5 hours looking fantastic! Nobody has made me look so good walking out , I am always disappointed having to use anyone else. The vibe is homey and chill and you can usually park in front of salon. It is very hard to find a hairdresser you trust and we are so grateful to now have Ryan at Savvy. Ever since my go-to stylist moved out of state, I have tried 5 different people. Yikes. Got a spa package that includes massage and mani pedi. First of all, the "back room" is the "spa" that looks like a shady shanty. When you go into the room for your massage, make sure you don't eat, because you are literally jiggled/pushed for the first 15-20 minutes with the blanket over you. Which for a massage, seems odd that I was rubbed with the blanket over me. After 20 min, then it was normal massage. Then for the pedicure. This chair was old af, and literally couldn't relax because it looked and felt like it would break with one move. The lady doing my feet and nails was fine, but the supplies used was again, shady. Then for the manicure. Again it was FINE but by that point of being jiggled/pushed around, shitty chairs, and no where to dry my nails (that's right, no fan or blue light to dry, you are told to go sit in the waiting area where the salon is). I liked my stylist, Sophia, so muc that I had my fiance come with me for a hair cut. They were VERY accomadating considering I didn't have an appointment for either of us. I've been a faithful customer for the last year. Sophia is the BEST person to have do your hair. She's the only perosn I've found that actually cuts and colors my hair the way I want it. She's amazing and fun to be around. The day spa is fabulous. I always get my eyebrows waxed and Renada (not sure how to spell her name) is great! I've also had a facial and it was heaven. I've only been here once for a facial. The front desk was friendly and professional. They asked me to complete the usual form (allergies, current medications, etc.). The esthetician was also friendly and skilled enough with facials. She was a bit on the chatty side but she acknowledged that and asked me if she needed to tone it down. I wouldn't recommend getting a brazilian here though. When she brought it up as one of their services, she also mentioned that she recently did her first one on herself. Yikes! read more

My first and recent appointment for hair coloring and a trim was a wonderful experience. Sophia was ready for me when I arrived (early). I am pleased with the hair tone color and cut. My hair was shiny, soft, and light on the hair product. Savvy is a clean place and I know that this is now my home for hair care. I met one of the owners and they along with the staff were welcoming and answered all my questions. I can't wait for my next visit. Although everyone is very nice, I was really disappointed with the brassy, chunky highlights. I brought in pictures and all I wanted was something natural looking and lighter in color. I won't be coming back especially because I was told to just make another appointment for more highlights. No thanks. I had to go and get a color correction at Hair Cuttery. I have gone to Savvy for years and have never been disappointed. Eileen has colored and cut my hair from long to short-short. From High lights to low lights to just plain color. She's great! If I bring in a picture, she makes it look like that, I never can duplicate it, but she tries to teach me how. Savvy is always, clean, friendly, up on the latest in hair styles, and hair care.
