It was a beautiful brunch. I hired Savvy Dining (Leslee) to cater a large gathering: 2 days 40 people each day. She did a fantastic job. The food was tasty and healthy, crudites, a charcuterie board, a cheese board, sweet baked treats, BACON and some other classic breakfast food. All ofit was delicious!!! Working with her was really easy. Leslee led me through a thoughtful process: we talked on _the actual phone_ where she asked great questions to guide me towards budget friendly, yummy options. Our guests raved about the food. The spread was knockout. She prepped before the event, so when guests arrived early (yikes) there was plenty to dig into. I'm still burning off the five star calories. Next time I throw a big to-do, she's first on my list to call. read more

So here's an unexpected update. I thought I had signed up for delicious food from a delightful chef. But according to my doctor, what I got was a miracle cure for all of my health problems. Ok, not quite, but... I just had my first check-up in years where everything was good. All of my long-term health issues were under control and all the bloodwork was in target ranges. And I had lost 20 pounds. Chef Savvy's food was a huge part of that. Having predictably clean and healthy food every night has cut down on the junk convenience food that was clogging my arteries. I eat healthy by default, rather than trying to force myself. Consider this another reason to sign up immediately for this service. Do your doctor the favor of not having to nag you anymore. read more

We hired Chef Savvy to prep and serve food for our housewarming gathering and she exceeded all expectations! The dishes were tailored to accommodate my MANY food allergies (and the various preferences of our community) with ease and grace. She even took one of my favorite recipes and made two versions of it that inspired me to try new combinations! She was gracious and charming with our guests, very clear and transparent about costs, prep, and what we would need to have ready for her. If you are looking for a private chef who can accommodate dietary restrictions with creative and delicious flair, Leslee is your chef! read more

My husband and I are busy professionals and always had good intentions of meal prepping and/or cooking. However, we found that we just don't have the time which led to ordering in or eating out. Which is obviously not the healthiest. Then we found Chef Savvy. She cooks wonderful healthy meals for us every week from a rotating monthly menu that always gives us plenty of options. Everything has been delicious and made with organic ingredients. Chef Savvy is very accommodating and cooks with care. We feel better after eating her meals as we are now eating much healthier for both lunch and dinner. She also takes into account dietary preferences and modifies recipes as necessary. We are very happy we found her! read more

Leslee's food is so healthy and yet tastes so fantastic. She cooked for my family and my son literally ate all of the intended leftovers right then and there! She's so thoughtful in the recipes she makes and they are tailored for peoples preferences and health needs. She's so amazing and her food tastes like it's full of love because it is. whenever I'm back in San Francisco I'll be having her tailor meals for me and my family. read more

My family and I have been using Chef Savvy's personal chef service for the last 6 weeks and I am so happy we found her. We have a toddler and a newborn at home and considered hiring a night nurse or night doula to help out in the early weeks, but I decided what I wanted most was help cooking so I could eat well while breastfeeding. Chef Savvy blew my expectations out of the water. Her food is incredible! It is well-balanced and flavorful and I feel amazing after eating it. Even after a weekend trip to Mendocino, where we ate lots of good food, I was really excited to get home to the Chef Savvy leftovers we had in the fridge, and I'm not usually one for leftovers. read more

Chef Savvy's food is amazing, and she is a lifesaver. I have a young child and I'm swamped. It is so nice to come home and have a delicious meal prepared. I can trust that my family will eat every last bite. I'm lucky to have her! read more

We are so happy to have found and be working with Chef Savvy! I was diagnosed with a cardiac health issue, but with work and travel always was eating out or ordering in. Chef Savvy's service is exactly what I needed. We had a quick intake call where she immediately confirmed she would be able to cook meals with the dietary needs my doctor prescribed. 6 months in, we are still super happy. We get to pick our favorites on a menu that changes each month and we are able to get 7-9 (x2 people) meals each week. We've enjoyed everything and get a nice mix of proteins, vegetables and grains to make complete lunch/dinner. What's more, my doctor was asking what changed in my diet to get my labs better :). You know the answer...! And, when I look at what I spent ordering in or going out to eat, Chef Savvy's service comes in just under my historical spend for food that's healthier, more nutritious, and tastier. read more

I was very fortunate to hire Chef Savvy to cook for me and my husband and highly recommend her personal chef services. I have many dietary restrictions due to an autoimmune disease, and she is very knowledgeable about common food sensitivities, so we worked together to create a meal plan that would accommodate my diet. Best of all, the dishes are so tasty that we don't feel restricted at all - we look forward to our meal delivery each week and have discovered many new favorites from the wide variety of choices each month. Now that we are expecting a baby and I'm too tired to cook, it's especially helpful to enjoy eating healthy and delicious food without the hassle of planning, preparing, and cleaning up meals on our own. Chef Savvy provides thoughtful suggestions for how to maximize the flavors for each meal, and she is very professional in her communication. Hire her immediately if you can, you won't regret it! read more

We love Chef Savvy! She has been such a great help to us as we aim to balance busy work schedules with healthy eating goals. Everything she makes is a hit in our house! We love the variety in the menus and the fact that there are new things to try / choose from each month. And she also takes great care to accommodate our preferences. She is so easy to work with and professional and in general her cooking has been an amazing addition to our routine. I would highly recommend her for regular personal chef services or for small dinner parties! read more

We started with Leslee on a recommendation from a friend as we have a newborn. Was one of the smartest things we've ever done. The meals are delicious, nutritious, and easy to prepare. We order in way less and enjoy every meal with no stress. Leslee is wonderful and flexible to my wife's dietary restrictions. Could not be happier. Thanks Savvy! read more

Leslee has been a life-saver for our family. When we first started working with her I was focused on the convenience factor. And that's really important -- having meals ready to heat up when we get home at 6pm means we actually get some family time before kids' bed time, instead of just a frantic push to get everything done. What I hadn't considered is the quality of the food. Holy cow, Leslee is good. We're eating far healthier and loving it -- she is truly a professional chef, on par with your favorite restaurant, the one you don't have time to go to anymore. Try out Savvy Dining, you'll love it! read more

Leslie is a gem. We recently had our second child and we were struggling to cook and serve healthy, tasty meals on a regular basis. Leslie's cooking is AMAZING - everything we were looking for and more. The meal selection is vast, and the food is delicious and nutritious. I really don't know how we would have stayed as healthy as we all have during this time without her help - dinner time is now something we look forward to rather than a source of stress. Highly recommended. read more

Leslee is the ultimate! If you are looking for a professional and thoughtful approach to setting up a healthy and delicious meal, she should be your choice! We found Leslee right here on Yelp and she was accommodating and communicated everything perfectly and in a timely manner. She is an expert chef and each flavor was balanced, with nuance we had not experienced before. We look forward to working with her again and hope you enjoy working with her, too! read more

10 stars for the best personal chef ever: Leslee Savvy! My husband and I were told by our dear friends that Leslee had been cooking wonderful and healthful meals for them. As luck would have it, she happened to have a new opening. They advised us to move on this thing quick, so we did. Leslee cares so much about her work. In fact, we describe her as an artist in her field. She wanted to meet with us to make sure that this was going to be a happy fit and we hit it off. Since then, we've been looking forward every week to her dishes! They are not only so delicious, they are healthful. Where else can you find that?! She uses only the freshest (and local) ingredients. She also gives a wide selection of food, a menu that changes monthly. Leslee is flexible and will also work up a recipe if you give her enough time! When my husband and I tried doing Whole 30, she was instrumental in helping us stay the course. We really appreciated how she was willing to work with us! If you are looking for tasty, fresh food that leaves you feeling good, look no further. Chef Leslee, thank you for your amazing work! read more

I had an idea to surprise my love interest with an delicious and healthy meal delivered to him. Leslee was an angel of love with her meal. As a surprise lunch meal to show how much my I care to a love interest Leslee was the magical secret ingredient. The magnificent fresh sausage with bell peppers, heirloom tomatoes with the salad and a dozen chocolate chip cookies served in a hand drawn heart box. She took a selfie with my much surprised guy as she delivered the warm lunch at the agreed upon time. I would highly recommend Leslee for a delicious, fresh meal to your special someone. I absolutely 100% recommend Savvy Dining SF. I have many food sensitivities, such as gluten & wheat, and dairy, and I'm also vegan. I've had surgery recently; Chef Savvy's vegetable dishes are the best! Her dedication to healthy deliciousness and friendly, efficient professionalism never changes. She is *the* most highly trained, considerate, and really, the sweetest chef I've ever met. I actually know many, and she is genuinely kind, sweet, and playful, and it carries over to the food she presents to her customers--us!! read more

Chef Savvy has been preparing meals for my aging parents for nearly a year. The food and variety are great...and meals being delivered is such a blessing. She is contentious, easy to communicate with and is very thoughtful with her food preparations. Highly Recommend! read more

Leslee is dedicated to her work and extremely professional. I've looked around for several chef/food services and most won't even return a phone call or email. But Leslee really stood out in our first phone call - she has an attention to detail on even the little details (e.g. making sure the food is not too hot before putting them in the containers, or not over cooking your vegetables) and her high standards for what she makes comes across immediately. Her menu updates monthly and the selection is frankly lavish. She's very punctual on delivery and gives you detailed instructions on best food to eat in what order, and instructions for re-heating. She's overall great at communicating expectations. I would highly recommend! read more

We recently hired Leslee plan, and prepare my birthday dinner. Everything about working with Leslee was easy. She quickly responded to my first email and we set up a call to discuss what we were looking for. She asked several questions, and was able to start suggesting some wonderful dishes. Within the next days she sent us options to choose from that were exactly what we were looking for. She arrived early, was extremely professional and most importantly dinner was perfect. She even made enough to put leftovers in the fridge which I was delighted to enjoy the next day. read more

I was searching for a personal chef service for my boss and his wife to help alleviate the stress of cooking and healthy eating during a particularly busy time. Because of the nature of the situation, I was making calls to personal chefs late at night (11pm) and Savvy Dining SF promptly answered my call. Leslee Savvy was incredibly professional and made time in her schedule to accommodate our urgent request. She asked all the right questions to make sure that my boss's dietary needs and preferences were met. She has been working with my boss for about 3 months now and I have heard rave reviews from both my boss and his wife. They are so grateful to have her help, find her food to be delicious, and have been happy with the variety of foods that she has prepared for them. They just recently had their first newborn child and Leslee definitely helped them through the stress of starting a family. Highly recommend Leslee Savvy's services! read more

My wife and I hired Leslee to be our personal chef. She is providing our meals every week, which has been a great help since we both work and recently had a baby. Every month, Leslee prepares a menu with a variety of items -- soups. veggies, meats, seafood, grains, etc. At the end of the week, we make our selections and then Leslee comes to our house on time to deliver everything in tupperware (sometimes with reheating instructions if applicable). It always feels like Christmas when she comes! Leslee's cooking is delicious and she takes great pride in picking out healthy ingredients, which she shops for as part of her service. Leslee cares a lot about customer satisfaction and the quality of her cooking. If you treat her well, she will do the same for you. Bon appetit! read more

I've been to cocktail parties, lunches and dinners that Savvy dining catered. Leslee is the best kind of modern chef--one that focuses on fresh, innovative, clean cuisine that happens to be healthy and nutritious as well! Have been very happy with her food and service. She's consistent, reliable, communicates well, and has a variety of things to choose from on her menu each month. Would recommend for when you're way too busy to think about food and food prep, and you'd rather have someone deliver it, as opposed to use your kitchen. read more

Savvy dining cooked a superb meal for thirty six people for us. She was happy to make a meal of organic locally produced foods. It was elegant, beautiful, and delicious. I found Leslee Savvy on SF Lady Chefs and hired her as my personal chef for a holiday party in my home. She provided wonderful menu options which included her Savor it Bars, yummy cheeses, spiced walnuts, and beef skewers with Asian Seasonings. The Savor It bars were a big hit and the flavors were such a beautiful compliment to the cheeses. Our dinner was a yummy shrimp dish with rice and snap peas. The presentation was beautiful and the food delicious. It was lovely having Leslee in my home. I got married in June and hired Savvy Dining SF to make our wedding cake. Leslee did a wonderful job, the cake was beautiful! I wanted something a little unconventional and she came up with a great idea. She did three different sized cakes on pedestals of different heights, all different flavors - carrot cake, red velvet and coconut (my three favorite flavors). I don't like fondant so she did a delicious cream cheese frosting lightly dusted with fine coconut flakes. My florist sent extra flowers for the cake and Leslee did a beautiful job decorating the cakes, they were displayed on a counter in the restaurant and looked gorgeous with the decor. Everyone thought they were delicious and it was so neat to have all the yummy flavors. Thank you, Leslee, for making our special day EXTRA special! read more
