Not only can you get your caffeine buzz, but the pastries, sandwiches, and other offerings are all delicious! We especially enjoyed the "day old" bin where we scored four apple cinnamon pull apart buns. Both the breakfast and pesto sandwiches were more than enough for lunch. Service was impeccable! The only challenge: traffic + noise. Weekends especially are challenging to navigate the large amount of semis and trucks churning through the intersection. I saw a few people dealing with it sitting at outside tables, but it was seriously oppressive. Next time, I'm taking mine to go.

Wow, just blown away…read more My chiro place opened up a location in grand valley, so I decided to come up to their new place. Naturally, I had to search what interesting foods were in the area. The Perked Pierogi seemed to be the only thing worth checking out, plus it was the only place open early in the morning. I was mainly looking for a place to get a coffee that was a local coffee shop and this place fit the bill. However, since they're known for their pierogis, of course I couldn't leave without trying some of those too...even if it was 10am! I ended up getting an ice coffee with a caramel flavour shot and a small order of cheese and potato pierogis. Luckily, they had some that early in the morning to cook. They also sell them to take home to cook yourself. I was SUPER impressed with the ice coffee. It's like they got the portions just right. It wasn't too bitter or too sweet. Also, maybe it was the type of coffee they use. It was so good. They also have almond milk, which is the only way I'll take my ice coffee. I was dancing my happy dance with the first sip. Ok, as you can see from my pics, the pierogis look BOMB AF. Luckily they ALSO taste, bomb af. You only get four but these things are huge. Each one took me 3 bites, but that's me lol. I cut them all up to let the heat out so I wouldn't burn my mouth BUT, I soon realized that I didn't have to do that. They were somehow THE perfect temperature. I was so happy and impressed I didn't have to wait or blow on them before devouring lol. Anyways, they're super quality and fresh. Even the bacon on top. The pierogis were cooked to perfection. A nice little pan sear but still soft. The sour cream was the perfect addition to each bite of pierogi, bacon and onions. Oh man, these are some of the best, maybe the best, I have ever had! I will gladly come back over and over. I can't wait! #supportlocal

Lots to see. My friends and I took to their patio which is located down by the creek. On the day we went it was sunny and warm, perfect for an outdoor meal. I love birds and there are plenty around, and pretty feeders to entice. My friends ordered burgers and fries. The fries portion sizes are huge here. Its likely best to share if you go with someone or order an extra small fry. Their burgers looked amazing! I dont eat beef, yet they were deluxe patties with cheese, bacon tomato and lettuce, plus mayo and ketchup. I ordered the avocado wrap and their house salad. It was so large and so tasty. The pickles which, came with, were quality pickles and to die for. I absolutely loved how quaint it was inside. It used to be the actual flour mill of Williamsford. Fully operational. As this was back in September I dont recall all the dates the man shared. However, when him and his partner took it over they did some renos in order to bring it up to code. When our order was ready, they brought it down to us on the patio. HEAVY plates and it was quite a distance to walk to deliver the food to us. I met them up the hill to help out. Upon ordering my coffee I was interested in their milk alternatives and the lovely man took his time displaying options for me and offering up samples of the "milks" so that I was pleased with my decision. In spite of customers waiting behind me. I was a little uneasy to have so many ppl behind me so I allowed them to be taken care of before I completed my coffee order. Really, really top notch, friendly, informative and pleasant owners. We had our lunch late and they were closing soon, yet they even stayed open to allow further time for us to all explore the varied books they have. While they cleaned and did the dishes. I would definitely return sometime again in the future. And it is well recommended!

The patio was unfortunately in the shade and it was a bit windy and cold, but our hot beverages helped keep us warm. Get there early if you want pastries as they do sell out. The lunch menu (after 11am) is limited. The croque monsieur ($19) was the size of a regular slice of bread and came with a salad. The roast beef sandwich on baguette was the tiniest sandwich I've seen at a cafe. For almost $15 we thought it would be a much bigger sandwich. The sizing of it would have been more appropriately advertised as a kids meal. We thought the meal was very much overpriced for the portion sizes we got.
