This place is a dump. Nice facility and convenient, however it is NOT well maintained and the staff that administers the building is totally non responsive. Too many dogs and frequently there is dog urine and feces in the common areas (resident halls) that does not get cleaned up for days. Lots of drugs going down here also, elevators frequently reek of pot. Overpriced by several hundred dollars a month. DO NOT MOVE HERE, you will be disappointed. read more

So where do we start... When you sign on a lease they are super nice, after that they have a bad and rude attitude. Never return calls or msgs , we received a dirty apartment when we moved in and lots of problems, half of the outlets doesn't work. The water/ice machine at the refrigerator is super dirty and the maintenance can't fix it. Now they want to open the wall at my bedroom to fix the outlets which will take 2-3 days of HUGE inconvenience to us! The 5th and first floor stinks like hell from dogs pee because some tennents let their dogs pee at the hallway. The management doesn't do anything other than sending useless emails. We received an email a month ago with a renewal of our lease and they want to increase the rent in 500$!!! We asked to speak with them about the price( again sent email, called and even went there and spoke with some blond very unpleasant guy) no one called us back till now!! The neighbors are doing ALOT of parties at the building and you can hear everything because of the thin walls and Windows. PLEASE FOR YOUR SANITY DO NOT SIGN HERE! read more

Yes, this place is really pretty. Yes, the amenties are flashy and look great on the surface. However, even this apartment suffers from huge faults. 1. The shiney starbucks machines look cool. However, did you know half the time I use it the machine is out of something such as cups or "needs maintenance"? ... and I already rarely use it to begin with so its a really random sample so I conclude it is usually not working for me. 2. Service requests are handled pretty quickly by the maintenance staff. However, that is the ONLY part that is quick in this building. It has taken me at least 3 months... THREE FREAKING MONTHS for my renewal paperwork to be signed by someone in the leasing office. I have signed my renewal already and it is is STILL in the queue somewhere to the point that I have no idea what will happen when my lease lapses or renewals. I have 1) called multiple times 2) visited the office multiple times through the 3 months 3) sent emails to the director and leasing 4) spoken to the sales staff. This is unbelievably bad customer service levels since I have not had a return call or return email that I do not know what to do. The sales staff is nice, but they are sales not operations so they cannot resolve the problem when I speak to them So think about that for a moment, I am trying to give them money, and they are still fumbling around unable to make it happen. 3. The provided PCs and Printers are nice. But not sure if its just overuse or what, but the Apple mice and keyboards run out of batteries frequently. On occasion of the 3 desktops, I see only 1 working unit at the S2 PC center. It is rare when all 3 PCs are working. Even rarer is that the only time I wanted to use a printer, the print server was down like a week. It eventually was fixed and I got to print, but why'd it take so long? 4. The gym is nice enough for an apt gym.. Weights are 0-50 and there is enough running machines to get a decent workout. 5. Amentity reservations are sometimes hard to reserve. Often times you'd need a month or more to reserve one of the cool rooms to use. The amenties are nice, but be prepared to wait to use it on weekends or a time you really want. 6. Walls are very thin. Walking through the halls you can ear music and whatever is going on in the apartments. As for the person above you, I guarantee you, you will definitly hear them stepping around. Sometimes you get unlucky and the apartment above you has a person that wears heels for hours before work. Yes... I can hear every step that person makes in heels. It is quite frustrating. 7. Trash and water: Water efficiency is good. the shower has low flow and generally you save water. I still havent had an eletric bill above $31, even in the summer time, the place is very efficient. However the trash bill is quite intersting. Reread the contract, it says a charge "Up to $20 for trash". In business terms, you will get charged the full $20 every month for trash.... Please heed Kyle H's advice and reread point number 2. The non maintenance support staff is EXTREMELY unresponsive. I have no idea why, either through sheer volume or lack of workers. I filled out an online application to lease here and paid 240 bucks with the impression that I would get some back if I wasn't approved. There was nothing saying I would have to make anymore deposits to get an apartment. Well i got an email saying "approved with conditions". The conditions were that I would have to pay an additional 850 bucks deposit!! So after I had already paid 240 bucks for application fees, I contacted Jason at the office who said I would get 80 bucks back after canceling my application (I wasn't about to make an $850 deposit after already paying $240). Then Travis from UDC corporate texts me saying I would unfortunately not be getting $80 back because i was technically "approved with conditions" Such a scam!!! DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!!!! There goes 240 bucks that could've been spent towards a legit apartment complex that respects prospective tenants! read more

GARBAGE. Smells like garbage, sounds like dumpsters. Why avoid this place like the plague? First, they tried to retract an offer of a free month's rent at the beginning of my stay there. I was told (to get me in) that this promotion was valid. Then, when it came time to sign the lease, the offer was retracted. It was eventually given to me, but I had to escalate the matter. False advertising. Second, they charged me a late fee on rent when their payment website was directing people to the wrong place. Then, they refused to refund the late fee and did not return any phone calls. Third, they threatened me with continued rent charges after I turned in my keys. Fourth, they refused to refund my deposit stating that the carpet needed complete replacement. The carpet was not shampooed or cleaned, just replaced. They said it was because of excessive pet hair. I can attest that this was completely unnecessary. They collected a non-refundable pet deposit from me for matters like this, then stole the rest of my deposit. I have a 7 pound cat that is declawed, so if you have a pet that sheds at all, prepare to LOSE YOUR ENTIRE DEPOSIT. Fifth, the place SMELLS LIKE TRASH ALL THE TIME. Sixth, the place is loud as hell. Especially if you are lucky enough to live in one of the towers facing the other tower. PREPARE TO BE SERENADED BY DUMPSTERS TWICE A WEEK (it goes on for hours)!!! Prepare to be woken up by gangsta rap echoing throughout the complex as well. I could literally hear people's music and in-car conversations in my apartment. I hope this review has dissuaded you from signing a lease here, as doing so was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the park is nice. Save yourself the money and rent somewhere else. I've lived here for the past three years and used to love it but I can honestly say this place is going downhill. I was excited to resign my lease last year but ever since then, this place has been completely miserable. Management could not care less about maintaining current renters or the property. There is constant noise from disrespectful neighbors who blare their bass at all hours - don't bother complaining because they won't do anything about it (trust me, I have tried). I am writing this review to advise people to not make the same mistake I made and dismiss the negative reviews. My time at Savoye was very brief in part because most or the negative reviews are exactly what I experienced. I began communicating with the leasing staff in June in preparation for my move to Dallas. Each person I spoke to was courteous and professional. I scheduled a visit to tour the property and really liked what I was shown. I proceeded with the application, signed the lease and was giving a move in date of 8/17. On 8/17, my move in date I paid the move in fees and was given keys to the apartment. After this things went down hill very quickly. 1. I was given the wrong keys but was still able to enter the apartment (612 in Savoye 2) because the door was left unlocked. Joseph the resident coordinator later met me in the apartment to give me the correct keys. 2. The first thing I noticed was the door frame. There were deep indentions that indicated the apartment was at some point broken into or the door was pried open. I could not believe this was left in place for a new tenant to see. 3. The apartment was very dirty. It looked like it was never cleaned from the previous tenant. * The floors were dirty * The sink was filthy and stained. * The lining of the back splash was stained/dirty * The stove was embarrassing. The ceramic top was severely scratched. * The island top was stained and had deep scratches. * The refrigerator doors had deep scratches. * The dishwasher handle was broken. * Most of all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were dirty, stained and had paint chips all over them. * The light in the bathroom was very dim. * There was a big paint chip in the bath tub. * The air vents and covers to the light switches and sockets were caked with dirt and paint stains. This apartment had a lot of wear and tear. And besides it being dirty, it did not meet the standards advertised by Savoye nor was it anything like I was shown when I visited the property. I was extremely disappointed. I immediately went down to the leasing office to complain and was given the managers email. After this all contact with the leasing office ceased. Not on my part but because they no longer answered the phone. From the afternoon of 8/17 to the afternoon 8/19 I got no answer each time I called to follow up. On 8/19 I called the emergency maintenance number and left a message asking to be contacted immediately. The manager Brianna finally followed up via email later that afternoon. She was apologetic and offered to fix the things I noted. I was only able to speak to Brianna on 8/20 after I asked her via email to call me. At this point the damage was done. I lost confidence in management and the leasing staff and I had no desire to live there. I went back and started reading more reviews not only on Google but other sites as well. The majority of the reviews for Savoye are negative and I witnessed first hand why. I followed up with Brianna asking what options I had to properly exit the lease. I am very grateful that she was willing to cancel the move in and refund my money. I now have a matter of days to find another apartment but will gladly deal with this hardship then live at Savoye. read more

WE ARE IN LOVE!!!! Seriously, if you're looking for an apartment, move here! The layouts and finishes are BEAUTIFUL! The vibe of the whole community is lively and modern! There are SOOO many amenities, maintenance is super fast, everything is always upkept and clean! The park on the property is a huge plus! They always do what the say, for instance, they said they were going to add some new gym equipment and they did within two weeks ad the equipment is beautiful! The pools and clubhousES are gorgeous! There is always coffee/hot cocoa in the Starbucks machines, balls at the pool table, cushions tidied, etc. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful! Ask for Miguel or Ryan for leasing! The concierge team, James and Joseph, are also flawless! On top of everything, they have a convenient app that includes a social platform, which is cool, to communicate with residents/pay rent/events. Move here so you don't miss out! We love it! read more

On 6/1/19 my apartment was burglarized and they stole $14,000 worth of personal property. Be aware that it was an inside job according to police. Property management told me, "that they are not responsible for the safety of their tenants, that's what insurance is for." Maintenance fixed the entrance door where the perp had drilled a hole over the lock and popped the deadbolt. Be advised that there are no cameras on site anywhere. After numerous sleepless nights, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to move out. I spoke to a leasing agent two weeks after the burglary which was well over 60 days prior to my move out date, unfortunately she missed informed me about early termination fees. I paid the 2 month's rent ($2801.48) to break the lease and turned in the notice-to-moveout form on 7/31/19. Everything was approved by leasing agent so I proceeded to pack and move out on 8/31/19. On 9/16/19 I received the final moveout invoice which reflected a balance of $1,367.63. Breakdown as follows; $2,588 liquidating damages, $45 cleaning charges, $20 paint charges, $25 trash removal; totaling $2,678 minus credit of ($1,310.37). So I was like what the heck! Upon contacting the 3rd party in Colorado to dispute charges, I was informed that in addition to the (2months) you are responsible for rent during the month you lived out the lease. Technically it's a total of 3 months rent due to break your lease. Be mindful people when considering Savoye for your place of residence. If you don't mind strangers breaking into your home, dog poop and urine waiting for you at the elevators and carpet in the hallway or better yet in the parking deck where you park your car, then this is the place for you. Needless to say the entrance gate in the parking deck works when it wants to. So you either wait for someone to exit and drive through the gateway that way or backout and wait for the next tenant to try to get in. Looks are definitely deceiving. I was only there 7 months and it was the worst living experience ever!!!!!!! read more

Stopped in to look at a model and get information. Nobody greeted me or asked if they could help. I wasn't sure I was even in the leasing office because of the staff's disinterest. The woman I spoke with seemed irritated and was unhelpful. I asked if I could see the model, and she said she had an appointment soon. I wouldn't have minded waiting, but there wasn't even an offer from her to wait to see it. She was so unhelpful and disinterested. It's a shame because the facility is very beautiful from what I could tell. But, if the staff isn't even interested in leasing to people, I can imagine they are even less interested in helping current residents. read more

The ac in the clubhouse specifically the conference room in the business center does not work at all. It is hot as all get out in regards to the heat. It feels almost as if you are standing outside during the summer time in Texas. The men's restroom in the bathroom smells so foul, even as a guest I would hate to host any guest. To put a description to the smell, it is almost as if you standing in a portable restroom on a hot summer day that has not been cleaned in 3 weeks after being at Coachella. I was honestly considering bringing by business here to the Savoye apartments in Addison, TX but if this is how the amenities are then you can have it. I am actively looking for the corporate office number to put in a complaint on this community as well as contact the health inspector for the city of Addison/County of Dallas as there more than likely is a strong waste issue that either maintenance/cleaning crew/front office staff is too LAZY to resolve. The price is not worth the dissatisfaction of not being able to use your own amenities as a guest or resident. I do not and will not ever recommend this community unless they turn these issues around and in a QUICK manner. read more

Let me say that this place will dazzle you when you visit. They draw your attention to all the shiny things like the amenities and "stainless steel" appliances. Make no mistake, this is not a "luxury" building. It is nicely finished in many ways but not at all luxury. They leave out some key details during the tour. 1) The appliances are of the lowest quality. Me and several neighbors have frequent freezer burn due to the low quality of the freezer door and the fact that it doesn't appear to create a tight seal. 2) The kitchen cabinets are awful. AWFUL! We have had several issues (one where a door almost fell on my head) and have neighbors with similar problems. They are made of the cheapest IKEA knock-off materials you can imagine. Yes, they look nice. However, they are cheap trash that doesn't even measure up to the quality you would expect in a 10 year old building. 3) The elevator is constantly breaking. Last time it took them three days to tell us it was broken (um, we kind of figured when you had to wait 8+ minutes to go from the 8th floor to the 1st). 4) They staff is courteous and professional but it is frequently difficult to get packages. When we moved in they specifically said the concierge would be available until 7 every night so people could pick things up when they got home. Then they changed it to 6 which makes it tough if you are commuting from your job. It would have made more sense to have the person start later but inconvenience for the residents is apparently not an issue for the community director. As evidence of this, they decided that in addition to our gate access we all need parking stickers. For this reason the office will stay open until 7. Of course, if you have more than one car there is an additional fee so they will also use this time to take more money from you. 5) To rent those amazing rooms they show on the tour you have to book in advance and leave a $500 deposit. There is no guarantee that the person before you will clean (my friend had a birthday party and there was trash all over from an event the building held that day and didn't clean). Also, you don't have exclusive access so anyone can walk through your party or just join you. That isn't a big deal, but selling it like we can rent it out for private use (and taking $500 when I don't even get control of the space) is a little misleading. 6) The construction noise is nonstop in the tower. They claimed that it wasn't bad but they often start before 7 am and go fairly late in the evening. This is often done 7 days a week but occasionally they skip Sunday. Expect this to continue because they will be building for some time. Oh, and don't try to tell management about it because they won't even admit you can hear it. I understand you can't stop it but you can at least acknowledge that it is, in fact, noisy. All in all, it can be an acceptable place to live but it is by no means luxurious. It is also far from what they sell you. read more

I had a great experience working with April at Savoye. I have previously been in the industry of leasing, so I have high standards when dealing with someone. I was very impressed with how she treated me and my boyfriend through the whole process. We looked at several apartments in Savoye and Savoye 2 and then we were also interested in Fiori next door. April drove over to Fiori with us so that she could give us a tour of that complex. She was very accommodating and sent us pictures of all the apartments that we couldn't see but were interested in and was very good with her response time. April even communicated with me on both of her days off, which I appreciated a lot. It's hard to find good help in this industry! Overall, I am very excited and comfortable with moving into our new place. read more

Three month update! Worst. Management. Ever. ANYWHERE. Buildings are poorly maintained. Public areas are filthy and poorly organized. Unit maintenance is a joke. Housekeeping is AWFUL. Dog feces in hallways. Abandoned cars in the garage. Nobody cares. Management is/are mythic creatures: you NEVER see or hear from them. Totally disengaged and way too important to interface with actual tenants or address problems. No control on packages. It's sad, really. April was amazing in helping us find the right apartment. Very friendly and very helpful. We were acknowledged as soon as we came in even though she was on the phone. Some reviews say once you sign they ignore you but they have been just as helpful as the first day. We moved into the tower and we love it. Have not expereinced any negative and don't hear any neighbors. I cant speak for all the buildings but ours has been great. Great experience so far. My sister boyfriend and I came here to view a 2 bedroom apartment, the concierge guy is not helpful at all, and basically lied to us in our faces. We signed in to get seen, waited about 30 minutes only for him to tell us his manager said they didn't have any bedroom to show us for the time frame we are looking at. I told him we still wanted to view these apartments to see what they look like, the guy then asked us " we'll have you looked online" yeah no shit we looked online that's why the hell we were there to view them. He went back to his manager because I refused to leave being the fact we were sitting our asses down for basically nothing. He then came back and told us they had appointments that were coming ?????????? At that point I was done, his manager obviously did not want to show us shit. He said the appointments take up to an hour and they close at 5.... we got there at 3 and waited literally 30 minutes for NOTHING. read more

Where do I begin?! Savoye is a nice property however there is a lot of undercover things going on. I lived at UDR properties for years and Savoye is where I stayed the longest. The staff Joesph L., Jospeh R., Aisha, Kayla where my favorite if they were not in the office I wouldn't speak to anyone. Since they have all left except Joseph R. It has not been the same. The office was diverse and full of knowledge. No one knows anything there and It's a complete mess. The community Director is NEVER in the office and the one time I did speak with her she was very under dressed and unprofessional. Everyone use to dress so nice and now the staff dresses very homely you wouldn't expect that when you walk in the front doors of SAVOYE. Furthermore, the entire maintenance team also changed. Everyone is completely new! I loved it there knowing I could count on the staff to take good care of me. My advise would be lease at your own risk. read more

This is my first Yelp review and first time I have been compelled to speak up about anything. I cannot say enough negative things about this community and apartment management.  I have spent 15 years in corporate America real estate, including property management.  I lived here for 4 years--moved 3 times for various reasons including my the BLACK MOLD, safety, noise, misrepresentation of the size of my apartment, lack of response, elevators always going down, gates malfunctioning on a daily basis, break-ins, etc.  The original property manager was excellent but the subsequent ones went severely downhill.  There is no response, the staff is minimal and very unhelpful, but more importantly, management does not address the needs of the tenants.  They also promised a built in structure with dry cleaners, small grocery store, etc. which has never come to fruition in 4 years! A contact at the police department confirmed the onset of crimes, including ones violent in nature in the Savoye community. In my last apartment, there was a large flood from the apartment above me.  When the fire department showed up, they said these apartments were always flooding or leaking and probably the reason they had repaired the outside efis during my first year where I initially discovered mold (and why I moved the first time).  The subsequent day, during the management inspection and tear down of the ceiling, wall and rug, we discovered black mold everywhere.  I was told it would take at least a week to repair and for days before, a humidifier must be run to eliminate the moisture.  The manager (WD) not only refused to relocate me to another apartment, but refused to put me up in a hotel.  I gave my notice then and decided to finally get out of the whole complex altogether.  I flew back home to stay with family during this duration.  I then told him again in December 2016 that I was not going to renew my lease (April 18th) and effective February 18th they raised my rent by 114%.  Then on top of everything, they called me in March to tell me I needed to fill out a form which never received.  I completed the form (I had secured a new place effective May 3rd and had transferred all my utilities, etc. I went in and gave written notice (tho not spelled out in the contract either) and the manager PUT A #1 in from the 3 to make my notice effect May 13th which is considered fraud for altering a contract without consent.  They are now harassing me for an additional 10 days at the rental rate of 114% increase.  I complained for a year about of my allergy to the mold, including visits to the doctor for a year, onset of asthma, multiple steroids/antibiotics, and dermatology for skin ailments due to the mold.  I advise anyone considering moving and/or relocating here to do your homework first--and read the mired of other reviews along with mine...it is apparent they paid off or had someone internally write the few positive reviews. read more

Well.. I lived here for a while year, and there were some serious ups and downs. I am happy to report that in the one year that I lived there, I did not see any ladies of the night. And I had some excellent service from Joseph the concierge. That said, the rest of the experience was pretty awful. Upon moving in, my entire apartment smelled like cat piss because they masked the smell with an an air freshener during showing. They would not do anything to help me as I brought in a cat of my own and was forced to clean the carpets myself. The counters were sticky and more of the apartment showed damage that we were told would be repaired prior to move. Rent is extremely high for what you get. Also, be prepared to be nickel and dimed here. Want to park in the garage? That costs money. Want a guaranteed spot in the garage? That costs more money. Upon move out, all of my deposits were kept without a record of why and I was sent a bill on top of that for $35 for "paint touch ups". The only evidence I saw given was a scratch on the wall that I would consider normal weal and tear. I am currently weighing my legal options. I suggest you avoid this place. read more

This is hands down, the worst place to live! We have been complaining about the loud noises from the floor above, and nothing has been done. You can literally hear every foot step that people above you take. Management does not take any action, you basically have to live with it. I have enjoyed my time living at Savoye apartments and I'm more than happy that this is the place that I have called home for the past 2 years. Even though I had to have my dishwasher and garbage disposal looked at multiple times throughout my time there, the maintenance men were always there the next day to fix it. The response time is quick and efficient. The UDR portal was such a great tool to be able to connect with the community there as well as a way for the management team to communicate with the residents. The management team was great at communicating if there was going to be any construction going on, elevators down, etc. The staff is incredibly friendly. Like any business, when there is turnover and staff and there are some people that can affect the the business, there are times of frustration. I experienced this for a couple months but I believe that they changed that instantly. Iwona, the new community director there is amazing at what she does. You can tell that she really cares. Living there felt like I was back on my college campus. I would always see someone I knew when walking around or when at the workout center. I even met 2 of my very best friends there and my boyfriend :). I did wish there were more community events for only residents however, you can't beat all of the events that they held at Vitruvian Park. The concerts, salsa dance nights, Addison house events, were phenomenal. If you are looking for a place to live, I recommend Savoye 100%. Get involved and meet people. It's worth it! read more

WARNNG!!! DO NOT LEASE HERE. I encourage you to read other reviews. Our apartment overlooks the pool area and we have to deal with parties, noise, drinking and smoking marijuana nearly every night. Parties continue past closing time of 10pm, sometimes continuing past midnight. It becomes near impossible to get a good nights rest here with all the noise. Often we see people who don't live in the building jump over the pool fence, worse even the gates from public to the pool don't work so anyone can enter. I have taken nearly 20 videos of all this, and sent several emails to management. They refuse to release me from my lease. They simply said they will move me to another unit, but I must cover the cost of a moving and cleaning company, hows that for terrible customer service. In order to pay your rent you need a good nights sleep, wake up early, go work and earn money. Not possible here. Managements attitude is terrible and they do not care about you or your concerns. Nothing has been done to address our problems in the last 2 months. We always have maintenance issues in our apartment, the gates from garage to the public streets never work. Entry doors from the garage to your apartment never works. Essentially anyone off the street can enter your building and access to your vehicles. There is always dodgy people hanging around. I am so excited to move to Savoye 2! I just signed my lease with the help of April K. I visited the apartment complex yesterday. And since then, April has just been a text away with the answers to all my questions I forgot to ask during the tour. Her answers were always fast and very helpful! After signing tonight, I feel a huge relief off my shoulders and am SO excited to move into this apartment community! read more

They don't answer the phone or return calls unless you are a new customer. Only way to get ahold of someone is to go to the office which is inconvenient because they are open from 9-6 (7 some months). Paid $2500 (2 months rent fee on a 1 bedroom) to exit the lease early which I knew about early on. We cleaned and vacuumed the apartment and was still charged $84.95 in cleaning fees on top of the other fees we had to pay. We ended up not getting back our $125 deposit and on top of that we were made to pay $43 when we left the apartment in overall good condition. The no smoking policy is a complete joke and when management gets enough complaints they take action by sending out an email which does nothing. Lots of pot smokers live here and smoke in the garage listening to loud music too so if that's you, you'll fit right in. read more

Luxury is perceived based on various attributes such as: style, cost, vintage, exclusiveness, etc... As it pertains to apartment communities 'SERVICE' is a main attribute which separates the 'Luxury' properties from the norm. Unfortunately, luxury is no longer a term I'd use to classify UDR's (Savoye) & (Savoye 2) community in Addison, TX. I'm appalled by the service, support, and communication administered during, and after, a recent maintenance emergency. As a long-term resident, I've promoted and recommended this community for years; having friends and colleagues lease units based on my recommendation. NEVER AGAIN will I suggest this community, and have opted to move as quickly as possible. So for anyone thinking of moving to this community, PLEASE DON'T. Here is an outline of events that occurred in my situation that has brought about my vexation for this community: Aug. 24th * Approx. 7:30pm- returned from vacation to find apartment flooded from a plumbing issue with 'WASTE' material spilling from tub into master closet, bedroom, and master entry leading to general living space * Approx. 7:40pm - called emergency maintenance * Approx. 8:00pm - received a return call from the answering service advising the on-call technician would be onsite in 30 minutes * Approx. 8:20pm - received call from on-call technician advising the answering served called and that he would be onsite in 30 minutes. *Please note that 20 minutes had already passed by the time the tech called to say he'd be onsite in 30 minutes * Approx. 9:15pm - o technician perform a quick evaluation and calls his POC to report the extent of the damage o he recommends replacement of the carpet and engagement of a plumbing company o notifies POC that I would like to speak with him/her to concerning accommodation o POC refused to speak with me directly o POC calls technician back and advise a guest suite is available for the night, but no additional accommodations can be made * Approx. 9:45pm - escorted to guest suite by technician o suite unclean bed linens in disarray and unchanged from previous guest dishes in sink garbage still present o Opt not to stay in suite and go to hotel (to avoid cost I use reward points) o technician notifies POC that I have opted to stay at hotel and informs me that management will contact me the following morning Aug. 25th * Approx. 11am - check out of hotel and have yet to receive any form of communication from Savoye Management. * Approx. 11:30am - speak with Assist. Manager concerning damage and commendations; Assist Manager was unaware of the event and totally caught off-guard and unable to provide any immediate assistance * Approx. 12pm - receive call from Assist. Manager to inform me that the Manager was informed the night before about the situation but failed to notify his staff or provide instructions on actions to be taken * Approx. 2pm - no additional communication from Savoye Management; stop back by the office and the Manager still hadn't arrived onsite * Approx. 2:10pm - o spoke with Assist Manager again o Assist Manger advises no additional accommodations can be made for housing at our property or any other UDR proper in the area; UDR can only offer reimbursement for any hotel cost I incur o Assist Manager unable to provide timeline of when contractors are scheduled to be onsite o asked Assist Manger to call me when contractors arrive as I'd like to be onsite when they enter the unit * Approx. 3pm - check into hotel again with 9-month old son * Approx. 4pm - no communication from Savoye Management team; go home to get clothing and find contractors in home and personnel belongings moved and thrown about o contractor indicates that they were informed to take out carpet in closet and to only removed the damaged carpet in bedroom * Approx. 4:15pm - o I leave Contractors to go speak with the Assist Manager again, who was shocked to know contractors were onsite and didn't know which contractors had arrived o Assist Manager advises she will speak with contracting company to ensure everyone knows that all carpet should be replaced o I ask if additional repairs would be done (change of tub and wood work damaged by water); Assist Manager advises they would not change tub and will do a full evaluation of damages o I notify Assist Manager that I'm scheduled to travel for work on Monday; I'm assured that the contractors are scheduled to be onsite Monday to complete repairs o I reschedule travel arrangement to leave Tuesday so I can be onsite Monday when contractors complete the work Aug. 27th * Approx. 7pm o Return home to get additional clothing and move furniture in master bedroom to find contactors left on almost every light in the apartment the entire weekend o Move furniture into kitchen and study Aug. 28th * Approx. 11am o no contact or communication from Savoye Management o I again go to front office to speak with Manager, and again, only the Assist Manager is available; I speak read more
