The guy behind the counter was very nice and funny, he even helped me out and only filled my popcorn half way so I could put some extra butter on it, then filled the rest!! A true gem! I was surprised to see how much security there was, we're from Chicago and don't even have that many!! The main theater is HUGE!! Very impressive! Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Movie volume was perfect. I hate when you go to the movies and your eardrums are going to burst! The only sad part was the concessions was closed by the time we got out of the movie!! I get it, workers wanted to go home but my partners niece really wanted to take some popcorn home!

The girl at the register just stares at us. So we walk over. No hi, hey, or how you doing. Literally silence. It was pretty awkward. We ordered our tickets. Then she finally speaks after we get our tickets. "Enjoy the movie." Then as we're walking away I hear her say, ""Hi, how are you tonight?" to the next people. Ok. We decided to skip snacks and drinks. Went to our seats. The seats are good but not great. If you didn't know, you can order cooked food now. That's awesome but there's no where to sit your food. The owner Skip Houston that took many long years to bring this place back from dilapidation has suddenly passed away in early 2025. I went to go see Nasforatu at 4:10 here on Christmas Day…read more I was wearing two pairs of pants and a hoodie that was warm enough for me to feel comfortable outside in. After an hour of the movie, I knew that it was so cold I wouldn't be able to make it. I really didn't want to have to come back to the theater to see the rest of the movie, but I knew that I wouldn't be able to stay in the theater for so long because it was so cold. I googled the movie and I saw that I had an hour and 40 minutes left, so I went outside and I complained to the manager and I had him give me a free pass for another day so I would be able to dress much warmer and see the rest, maybe bring a blanket as well. Heated seat did not really do anything to help my comfort. I Will probably come back This upcoming Sunday around 1:00 p.m to see the rest, But this time I will dress much warmer. The lobby between the entrance and where the movie was was about 20 to 30° warmer than inside where the movie was being played So that was kind of misleading. I also have a complaint about the ability to maneuver inside the theater. I am disabled and I have to have a walker with me most times, and unlike meadowview, Paramount does not have buttons that open and close the door for handicapped individuals. This is the first time I've been to this theater by myself in probably about 10 years and I am not coming back to this theater by myself again because I don't have someone to open the door for me.
