Tldr: the shop pawned me off on their apprentice for a large and complex piece. The apprentice,…read moreSeth Jarvis, never set an appointment with me, and stopped working on the design the second he got a deposit out of me. Don't go here. I came in with plans to get a large lettering piece that had a lot of meaning to me. There were no portfolios available for me to look at, just a tv with a screensaver cycling between AI slop and some truly shaky looking work. I mean there was a picture of Mario on there that looked like my 4 year old nephew drew it. After explaining what I was looking for, I was immediately referred to an apprentice at the shop, Seth Jarvis. Nobody told me he was an apprentice at the time, not him or his mentors: it was just listed on his Insta. His work looked sick and was in the style I was interested in though, and he had a few people talking him up in the comments so I decided to give him a shot. He quoted me $1300, which I thought was high, but if it was quality work I would have been happy to pay that. He said he'd get back to me with the design in a week and two weeks later he finally did. I'm wasn't in a rush so whatever. It looked sick, but only the left half was done. I say hell yea, can't wait to see the rest. Fastforward another week or two and he sends me the full thing. He says it's still a work in progress, but I can see a few points in the new design that really take away from what I wanted out of the piece. I communicate that with him and immediately start getting push back. He pulled out every narcissist line in the book. At first he just brushed away and disregarded my concerns and then he tried to browbeat and gaslight me about the style not allowing the changes I wanted on the right half of the tattoo, even though they were present and looked just fine on the left. I went in to the shop to try and reason with him, and he said he'd need a deposit to keep working on it. I wanted to give him a morale boost because I felt the design I wanted was a little complex, so I gave him double the amount that he asked for. He sends me a picture of the design the next day stripped of all flavor, with half the issues I had noticed in the first draft still there. I pointed out the issues that were still present and even offered an idea for how to fix them. His response to that was that I could take this new design or take the old one, but he refused to make any more changes. After giving him double his requested deposit without even the promise of a date to do the tattoo, he refused to work with me the very next day. If that's not a scam, I don't know what is.

Here is my finished work. Wade is the man. Took me a long time to post this but you can see both…read morebefore and after. Love ''em both.

Susu is an extremely talented and friendly hairstylist for those with curly hair. Her salon feels…read morerelaxed and welcoming. I called on a Tuesday afternoon on the off chance that she was still accepting walk-ins for the day. I'm so grateful that she ended up having space available, because this is my favorite haircut and experience of my life. She understood exactly what I wanted based on my picture of Jenny Ortega sporting shaggy layers. She encouraged me that I had more curls than I knew (versus other hairstylists have often doubted me so I started calling my hair wavy). She is positive and affirming when chatting with customers, and by the end, I had made a new friend. Susu also took me through all of the instructions for how to keep my curls this defined, from products, to washing schedules, to how to dry hair and sleep in it overnight. She's a wonderful, professional cosmetologist who we are lucky to have in town!

My hair was perfect and my makeup was flawless!!! She very carefully matched my skin color, eye & hair color and then selected the perfect base, eye shadow & lipstick! I refused to look until she was done with both the hair, makeup and I was dressed in my wedding dress & heels for the first reveal ... My "tribe" of bride helpers were so very impressed and speechless at her handiwork & my groom was stuck speechless!! Truly worth everything to make me so beautiful and confident as I left her shop and set off to get married!! Thank you SuSu!! You have a lifelong client!!! ~Ginny~

The owner Matt TRIED to do a nose piercing on me. He pierced the FIRST time so high up, it looked…read morelike it was running away from my nose piercings on the opposite side. It was very obviously out of symmetry. Then, after I requested he redo it, he couldn't get the jewelry out of my nose. He used an instrument and was pulling, jerking and twisting on my nose ring to try to pull it out, because he did not know how to remove a corkscrew nose ring. I stopped him, hooked it and turned it and it came out easily. He then tried to re-pierce it below that piercing, and pulled the needle all the way through my nose, and then tried pushing the SAME nose ring through the fresh piercing, without the needle. All the while, I am sitting impressively still for someone whose nose is being shredded, and he yelled at me to sit still. While he was attempting to shove the jewelry in my nose with his fingers. As I am leaving holding wads of paper towels on my bloody nostril with one hand, holding my debit card with the other, I was prepared to say nothing, and let it go. Then he looks over at me and says "you know, YOU wanted it high up," in the most arrogant tone. I then said, "listen buddy, you ruined my nose, can you just run my card so I can pay and get the F out of here?" He then yells at me, "wow, are you serious?! I have been piercing for 22 years!" And STILL would not take my debit card. I told him I did not care about his ego and that I just wanted to pay and get out, to which he replied "really?!" After my hair turned grey, he finally charged my card. And I ended up having to go back because he left my ID in his scanner, which he also tried to blame me for. Save your nose, do not go

For anyone looking for a tattoo I highly don't recommend Matt Estock. He is very unprofessional. I…read morehave referred some people to him which is has done very dirty. Like first took me months to get my best friend in for her tattoo after him saying he would do it and then blowing me off to schedule the appointment. When we finally did my poor friend got covid he said he would reschedule after taking my deposit for it, which was a birthday gift. Well after numerous temps of trying to get him to reschedule cause he kept telling me let me check my book but never would get back to me. I reached out to him every week for like 3 weeks even though he posted daily he had all these openings so now I am out of 60 dollars he will not give back. Then my daughter inlaw schedule a tattoo with him 2 weeks ago paid her deposit then 2 days before her appointment she calls to double check her time and he tells her he is canceling her appointment. Come to find out he canceled it to put someone else in her spot then tried to refuse her deposit. If your thinking of him for ur tattoo I would highly recommend someone thats not shady. He is also very rude
