He has taught me things that no other instructor has, specifically how to have soft and effective hands. The barn itself is clean, organized, and well-maintained. I feel like I have found a forever home at Windy Meadow Farm.

I always felt a sense of magic whenever I walked the woods, gazed at the pond, and saw the joy on each child's face on the nature playground! I was always in awe of the unique activities and ideas flowing through the children and teachers! Ms. Carolyn is such an incredible soul who values children and offers each of them an invitation to receive an incredible love of learning. The foundational skills of curiosity, social interaction, creativity, exploration, and problem solving are rock solid after my child's preschool experience. His connection to nature and love for science couldn't be more beautiful. There is no other preschool in our area that comes close to this unique forest school experience. In addition, we took advantage of the summer camp offerings and birthday party packages as well!! We drove 25 min between our home and the school. It is worth every moment of commuting to give my child such a rich childhood experience. I plan to continue my relationship with Woodland Discovery when my youngest is old enough to begin!!

My 3-year-old attended this daycare for a few months, and unfortunately, our experience was very…read moredisappointing. During the time he was there, I didn't see much educational growth or development. I also found the facility to be lacking in cleanliness on multiple occasions, which was concerning for a childcare environment. The final straw came when my son came home and told me that one of his teachers had squeezed his hand hard enough to hurt him. The next day, I went to the daycare to report the incident. I was told they would review the camera footage and call me back to discuss what happened. I never received a call. I returned the following day for an update and was told they hadn't contacted me because they thought someone else in the office had. The lack of communication and urgency regarding a report involving a child's safety was extremely concerning. I was never given a clear explanation of what happened or even told which teacher was involved. As a parent, that experience was upsetting and left me with very little confidence in the daycare's ability to handle serious concerns appropriately. I also found some staff members to be unapproachable and unhelpful throughout our time there, and they often gave the impression that they did not enjoy being there. The only positive aspect was the convenience of the location in our neighborhood. Otherwise, based on my personal experience, I would encourage parents to carefully consider other childcare options if communication, cleanliness, accountability, and their child's well-being are priorities.

The main trail is a mile long and circles through the trees and around the lake on the other side. Its a very nice walk. You will pass families enjoying the picnic areas and grills, lots of families on the trails with their little ones on bikes, and fishing. Everyone you pass is normally pretty friendly with hellos and encouraging words as you pass each other. There is also a large trail that branches off from this trail. I see a lot of cross country runner teams and they have a lot of matches there. But you can still enjoy the trails during matches. There is also a Baseball Field and a large field for activities such as soccer. Times vary depending on the time of year but I highly recommend this park.

From the very beginning, Ms. Adrienne, Principal Ms. Kerry, and the entire staff were incredibly patient, welcoming, and understanding. They knew how anxious we were about sending our little girl to school for the first time. Anytime we sent a message or had a question, they responded quickly and reassured us. Receiving daily pictures also helped us feel connected and gave us peace of mind throughout the day. It took our daughter several months to become comfortable, but her teachers never rushed her. They worked with her patiently, showed her kindness, and helped her adjust at her own pace. Then one day, everything changed....she began loving school! Now she asks to go every day and is excited to play with her friends. If you are a parent who is nervous or anxious about sending your little one to childcare, we highly recommend Chesterbrook Academy. The staff is accommodating, caring, welcoming, and always willing to answer questions. They truly made what could have been a very difficult transition into such a positive experience for our entire family. Choosing Chesterbrook Academy has been one of the best decisions we have made for our daughter. We are so grateful for Ms. Adrienne, Ms. Kerry, and all of the wonderful teachers and staff. Our daughter will happily remain part of the Chesterbrook family until she heads off to kindergarten!
