So I went in today and saw a guy purchase this Lenox nativity which was priced at 24.99 (a steal!) But then I see clothes...CLOTHES on those cage things priced at over 100 bucks! How does that even make sense??? And don't even get me started on the 14.99 starbucks red cups that you get for free with the purchase of a holiday drink. Who's in charge of pricing? Cause ya'll dropped the ball.

Woohoo been here only a handful of times since I've lived here in YL for 7 years 10.20.22

The Yorba Linda location has been raising their prices a lot, making this less of a value.

I noticed that many items are becoming over priced. Not sure if I'll return to this location

The best place to shop! I wouldn't change Savers for a Goodwill or Salvation Army. Best prices & good items are found.

I don't go to the La Mirada store (which is were I live) as it is a junk and disaster place.

Prices are consistently good, and I like knowing they're doing meaningful work--it makes me feel better about both shopping and donating here. They usually have a half-off sale toward the end of the month (worth planning around), and the rewards program is a nice little perk--you'll randomly get a few dollars off here and there. I almost always leave with at least one or two gems and today I found exactly what I needed to finish up staging a house.

I come here on a weekly basis and also visit other Salvation Army locations, and this one has some of the best customer service out of all of them. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at some of the other locations. What really makes this location stand out is the staff. The workers are what make the shopping experience better. Their kindness, helpful attitude, and positive energy make such a big difference and make people want to come back. A good staff can completely change the feel of a store, and that is exactly what happens here. Please take care of this team because they are the ones doing all the hard work and making this location such a positive and enjoyable place to shop.

Went in to sell, brought it in one trash bag which is no longer accepted, so the girl at the counter said to put my items in a basket. She already seemed annoyed at the fact that i brought in one trash bag with clothes, and then started to tell me repeatedly at the things they were taking: "we are only taking things for summer, so no jeans no sweaters, no long sleeve tops" I said okay but she kept repeating herself and i finally said okay i get it, im just going to put it in because some of the items are name brand, is that ok?" she said "yeah we can take a look at it" She definitely had an attitude and was very short coming. So I added workout clothes as well (lululemon sport bra, summer clothes people are outside and working out you know). Anyways not even like 10 minutes go by and my name is called which is weird, because I put in a lot of clothes like linen pants, body suits, crop tops, etc. Another girl then tells me they didn't take any of the items today. Mind you I came in with a full bag filed with clothes, you're telling me not ONE piece was taken? That's complete bs and I know it was done on purpose because of the girl and her attitude. I was really shocked so I just said "oh really?, ok" and left. This was the first time I've ever been declined of selling my clothes, and I used to come here for years... I didn't even want to donate the clothes there like I usually have done in the past, went instead to Goodwill where I know my clothes will be much more appreciated. Drove 14 minutes out to Buffalo Exchange in Fullerton and immediately got better customer service with friendly employees. Sold a few of my clothes as well. So save yourself the hassle, drive a few minutes out to Fullerton and sell your clothes there.

I came in on a Yellow Tag day and was able to find some things to restock my closet some. The lady at the register was pretty chill and said they ran out of shopping bags, I was like it's okay I can just carry them out. I guess it matched the discount store vibe lol. They do have a few changing rooms with staff standing right outside if you need anything - thought that was pretty cool. Parking was pretty much almost full when I got there, but was able to find parking right by the front of the shop. Think I'm gonna add this location to my list of thrift shops in the area.

The prices were high across the board, and there were barely any discounts, which already made it hard to justify buying anything. After spending about 30 minutes searching, I finally found an item I wanted, only to be told at checkout that they couldn't sell it to me because it didn't have a tag. I've been to many Goodwill locations before, and this has never been an issue, usually they just retag the item and/or scan something similar and sell it. Instead, I left empty-handed after wasting my time. Between the pricing and that policy, I won't be returning.
