Usually, I'm very lucky. I always have good luck finding what I'm looking for for my patient in particular at this particular savers I find it very clean and the people knowledgeable and helpful. I only went one time that they had a problem with the pricing because he had one price on the item, but they were trying to charge me more in their pricing, but we got that straightened. They have many self checks that are all closed! It is so ridiculous. The gentleman that is the store manager just walks back and forth not opening any of the self checks. Why have them if you cannot open them. Long lines. read more

The prices tend to be ridiculous for used items they get for free, even the prices for books, which they have an abundance of of has been going up in price!! This location also tends to get busy, so trying to get through the isles can be stressful, parking can also be a challenge.if the spots fill up in front of the store( you cannot bring the shopping carts out of the store) read more

What a lovely establishment, the store was well organized and it has a very nice and friendly staff. If you are supporting by buying or donating its a great place to find some gems. They have special discounts for seniors and a special promotion if you sign up. I found a book that I have been looking for quite some time and some cute accessories. Heads up--they don't have fitting rooms here. I went my first time and picked out a ton of great clothes to try on, only to find out that I couldn't try them on before buying them. The cashier told me about their free exchanges after 7 days of purchase, but to commit to buying anything at all without knowing if it's even gonna fit on me is a huge negative for this store. read more

This chain has deteriorated so drastically. The return policy is that you have to swap out merchandise - bring a pair of pants back for $4, buy an item for $4. As opposed to the manager saying all items can be brought back within 14 days. No dressing rooms, corporate bullshit going on. This used to be my favorite store, now they are dirty. This is a very expensive store. They have used T-shirts for $13.00 and so forth. I think that these second hand stores should realize that this merchandise is given to them as hand me downs. Why charge what the mall is charging. Shoes for $80.00 , I can get them new and the matching outfit for less. Fix your prices. Stop looking up item on eBay to price yours. Ebay is an auction site. Look at what it sold for not what it states. Please help the poor people, don't rob them. Were all struggling and you guys are robbing them blind. Shame on you. I went in recently and stood in line for over 20 minutes while the clerk ran a lady's credit card that wouldn't read at least 15 times, and when they gave up on that the lady sat at the counter to call her credit card company while continuing to hold up the line in a busy store. Any even remotely trained employee would have called over a manager to deal with the customers problem vs run a card endless times then have a lady sitting at the register making phone calls. I used to go to savers all the time.....but since closing the other location store quality has dropped horribly and I won't go back, there's plenty of other thrift stores out there with better customer service and cleaner stores read more

I'm always down for a fun thrifting trip to Savers because they're very organized, have a big selection, and usually have multiple checkouts open. The dressing rooms are cleaner than most other second hand stores around. They give back to the community, have a rewards club, and ofter many discounts/percentages off. They have a huge shoe and clothing selection. There are a lot of games and puzzles too if you are a teacher, like me, and look for these types of things! It can get very busy here, I wouldn't bring in too much stuff like your coat because some aisles are tight. read more

Once a place to find bargains but not much anymore ( in terms of clothes) you used to be able to find anything for cheap but now that the business has caught on to what people think is "hip" or "desired" they jack up the price. I have found so many cool looking things only to put them back because I could literally go and buy a new item at the mall for less or a few bucks more. Staff is hit or miss, i have dealt with some of the coolest people and I have dealt with some of the rudest, laziest people. Savers managers should take note that customers do not OWE anything to the staff and it isn't welcoming to be glared at by cashiers who would rather talk to their friends then do their jobs. Another thing that needs to happen at this store is the enforcement of RULES and COMMON DECENCY. parents are known to let their children run wild in this store and destroy merchandise and make a horrible experience for other shoppers. Literally children throwing merchandise on the floor or tearing up boxes. This is disgusting and while it is the fault of the horrible parents who shop here, Savers management needs to step up and tell these bozos to watch their children or leave the store. If you have ever taken a walk down the "Toy Aisle" and almost broke your neck by toys strewn about the floor or ten kids sitting on the ground ripping open a box of "Mall Madness" you know what I am talking about. All in all this store is what it is. You will find decent priced Home goods like cups, plates etc. ( unless they decide it's "Vintage" then they overprice it). and you can find some cool records/books for cheap. Other than that clothes are over priced now, most staff is rude, more than a few customers are annoying and the store is usually in disarray. I would actually say the Springfield store is better. It has sale days, more options and better prices. Staff is a little bit better too. read more

Very dirty place that smells like mothballs, damp basements and expired food. I would gladly "suck it up" and deal with this if they're were bargins there to be had. Thing is, there just aren't. Most worn out and well used men's shirts are priced at $9.99 and beat up old jackets are around $24.99. They also have a selection of men's shoes that homeless folks would turn down. Can't believe it's taken me this long to discover Savers! What a great thrift shop. This store is well organized and the selection of books is incredible! They have a deal on the already super-low price; buy 4 get one free. Stocked up on this visit and plan to return. Very good, clean selection of young kid's clothing. Not the cleanest or best smelling store in the area. The clientele is a lot to be desired. I try to go with not too many people there. I shop at all the thrift stores in the area. It can be a jungle in there, but i try to go in with what I am exactly looking for and get out. I've had some sales people help me on the floor. there are some good workers there. But I see the glass as half full. It's hard to keep a store clean when it's crowded all the time. Still a good place to shop. On my second visit to this savers I got 5 of the chronicles of Narnia books, fourth printing from 1962 for 2.99 a piece. They ended up being worth way, way, way, way more when i looked them up on the internet. This savers has AMAZING books. If that is what you are looking for, go here. read more

Kinda expensive for used clothing...Jeans are $10+....tops are usually around $6 for good brands...I mean, it's used clothing that people donate. In my opinion, it shouldn't be as much as a clearance sale at a store where you can get new with tags stuff. read more
