When I remove the tag at home, it creates a hole that slowly gets bigger over time, completely ruining the garment. This has happened multiple times. It's not every single item, but it's most of them. It almost feels like there may be one person tagging correctly, but it doesn't really matter because so many other items are tagged in random places that damage the fabric. This is especially disappointing when buying clothes that are otherwise in good condition. For a thrift store, clothing damage caused during pricing should not be an issue. I hope this gets addressed, because it's making me hesitant to shop here anymore.

Staff was trying to rush everyone out of the building even when it was 30 minutes to close which is a tough thing to do when the store was packed. I need some warmer sleeping lounge pants. $8.99 here - brand new at Walmart - yup $8-10 range!! And the music? Felt like I was at the Aria hotel in Vegas? It's faced pace dance music. While I am browsing and shopping? Isn't the idea to keep us in the store longer and not feel rushed? Maybe they know that the younger crowd and grandmas shops there but separately. But us young people shop there because we want the same stuff grandma's want at thrift pricing. Oh and the cashier changed the price on me. Twice! First item It had 2 tags at $1.99 and she said no I priced this item this morning at 4.99? I was like what!! Then A handmixer had a tag of $1.99 in a really weird spot! but she ripped the tag and said it should be $3.99. These tags once removed leave a residue so people don't take the tags off and reduce the price!! I should have asked for a manger! I declined the 2 items because you guessed it a new handmixer at Walmart is $7! Rather but it new and know it works and it's new!! And then she didn't like the fact that I got $4 plate at $2 because it was the color of the day? So what's the problem here I was going to ask? SMH Goodwill has lost its way! Just go to kohl's and Walmart - similar prices and IT'S NEW!!

There's a large selection of books, most 3.00 and under, mass market paperbacks 50 cents, and periodically there are good old ones from the 50s or 60s. Some items are cheap. Some are costly. They also sell the very high priced stuff online, but there's still plenty of great stuff in the store itself. The bathrooms are old but super clean and not creepy like in some places. There are real antiques, beautiful furniture, art works, plastic storage tubs, all kinds of glassware, figurines, etc. Don't listen to the complainers. I go whenever I can and almost always find something I want.

Back in the 70's & 80's, my parents always used to buy these & we loved them! Then suddenly, they just disappeared from store shelves. Well, many years later, Lanzi's is BACK!!!! You can order them from the Uptown Shop. I just got a box in the mail. Flavor-wise it's REALLY CLOSE to the original (they had to reverse-engineer it because the recipe was lost after Elmo Lanzi passed on & production of the candy stopped).
