I rode a RTC bike to Savers. It was not too bad of a ride, I had to dodge the road work. There is a bike docking station across the street near a tire shop. I walked across the street with caution. If you are like me and have a backpack, they targeted me and and kindly asked if I can place into a locker with a lock. Savers staff give you a number to collect your backpack. Like other Savers there are no changing rooms. You need to try items on in front of the mirror. I do think this Savers wins with mirrors. Where I live they only provide two and people are waiting to see how items fit. I walked away with some items. Thought I would find more. What I liked about this Savers location; the location and the parking lot was very convenient and close to lots of cool stores and the art district. The store was well kept; clean and even the clothing racks and aisles weren't overly filled, so I was able to navigate through them much easier than most. I appreciated the cleanliness of the store and the layout was nice. What I didn't like was mostly the prices were much higher than most other Savers locations locally, a t-shirt starting at $8.99, versus $5.99 at most other stores. A lot of the housewares and decor was also not very competitive with pricing either. Employees were scarce and they didn't have but one checkout counter and no available self checkout. Definitely worth a shot taking a look at what they have if you're in the area; and a peek at the layout of the store! read more

This is a fun Savers in a vibrant area with a vintage vibe. The store is well organized, although some aisles are quite narrow. Parking was easy, and the prices here were better than Savers in California! I was very pleased with the number of good items that had the color of the week for 50% off. I knocked off half a star for the No Drinks Allowed sign-- thrifting is never as good without my iced coffee in hand. This Savers is closest to my house but unfortunately one of the very worst compared to all other Savers in town. And if I could give it zero stars I absolutely would. I came in to do any exchange for jeans because they didn't fit and it took a very long time to find a decent pair of jeans. Most of the jeans weren't organized by size and most jeans were ripped or stained really bad with a price tag of $9.99 which is ridiculous. Most of the items I saw should've been no more than $4.49 and even that's too much. To get those holes repaired at a tailor, you'd have to pay at least $10. It seems that at that point, might as well go to Walmart and get a new pair of jeans for $15 or $20. I'm sure they sell them for that cheap. Not only are the clothes pretty worn out but the customer service is truly disappointing and my encounter today left me a bit shaken. I was standing in line and one of the cashier attendants asks me cash or card and before I could answer her question, I was trying to ask if the gal in front of me was already helped. She didn't answer my question and came back with a very aggressive attitude and seemed visibly angry-- for no apparent reason. It's funny how sometimes you never know what responses you're going to get from people when your just trying to be helpful. And for this reason mainly and lack of good quality clothes at fair pricing, I will never come back to this Savers ever again. If you need to go thrifting I highly recommend passing up this location and going to the one on Rancho or checking out a Goodwill instead. It's a 2 thumbs way way down for this Savers and I have zero regrets about it. read more

As my cargo got stolen during my travels, I needed a new teddy bear for my dog. Savers is perfect for that, that's where I get most of his (besides the dog outlet). We found exactly that and there was a set check out and staff was friendly. Store was full I could probably shop there for hours. Always be sure that the order is place in a bag and put a cover into the small opening and direct the customers that they can get straws and not even thank the customers. Affectionately known as crazy town, this location has it all from homeless people, ranting people, old folks with dirty and half off masks and people not socially distancing. Thrifting can be a gamble, Only been to this location once. The store was spread out nicely size wise. However it looked like a hurricane hit different parts of the store, I know Super sale days can be a madhouse but it wasn't overly crowded to be so messy. There was quite a selection of items. I usually hit up electronics first. Among the debris pile found a ps3 slim, did not have the correct cords and all the t.v.s they had did not have hdmi hook up. So was unable to test due to Savers no return policy on electronics which sucks given the fact that you can't test most items. Anyway on my way out found 2 ps3 official controllers got the whole deal for $30. Turns out the ps3 works so happy about that. The place could use to straightening up and a little more selective of putting out stuff that isn't broken however that goes for ALL thrift stores in general. They take away trying on clothes during a pandemic so if anybody buys anything they are forfeiting their money automatically or give them a 14 day deadline to find something and spend that money in a savers store. If the person doesn't find anything within those 14 days then they automatically forfeit their money!!. This was told to me by the manager at the store-" just come in and buy anything even if you don't find anything you want within the 14 days and just return it and keep re-doing the process until you find something that you do like" yep... makes total sense... there is never a way to get a full refund, how is this legal?? read more

I just to make everyone aware of Saver's return policy. I bought a pair of jeans, and was unable to try them on since they no longer have a fitting room on site. I proceed to bring them home and wash them naturally removing the tag. The jeans basically fell apart and I tried to return them. Since it " no longer had the tag on" we cannot accept the return. Yes I still had the receipt. I am in the process of cleaning out my house and want to point out that I have and will donate many items in the next few months. Of course they will be donated to the Salvation Army instead of Savers as a result of their return policy. So buying at Savers may not be in your best interest read more

They don't let you try on the clothes in the stores anymore. They expect you to buy the clothes, try them on at home and then only get a store credit when you return them. This is an awful business model, especially for women who need to try clothing on. This place is suppose to help low income families not burden them with more expenses because you can't try clothing on, this makes one have to purchase way more than they need just to see if something fits. Then you can't even get your money back to spend where you need it, your forced to have a credit at savers. Not all families can afford to buy more than they need just to try something on. It's an alright store if you are into thrift shopping. I went with the girlfriend who was looking for things for her plants I.e vases and such. Customer service was alright but I would feel the same way if I had to deal with certain customers on a daily basis. What really got me is that I saw a bucket which I believed was bought from the 99 cents store and this place was selling for $1.99. Me thinks not. This place is great when it comes to product or merchandise. I can always and I mean always find something I like. I have a certain routine I follow. My ritual: first shoes/jeans/skirts/then shirts. After that I just start to wander about. They are pretty organized as well by size and category. Which is always a plus. The only downer to this place is that the staff is horribly trained or they just don't give a shiz. 99% of the time the items are marked at half price of the original price. So Ed hardy sneaks are normally $30. Well here they cost $20 or $15, depending on the day you go. My last experience was the final straw though, I went to the shoes found some brand new Reebok. They said $15.00. So I said to myself, "they are so new, they are worth it." I walk up to the register and the lady "the manager" says 'no no, these are $25.00." I said but it says $15. She said, "I am sorry but one of the reps. must have missed priced them." so I say, "can you just honor the price. I mean they are prices by your staff." I like this place! Some of the stuff is overpriced, some is really low. You have to patient, check back often to find the killer deals. Check the clothes carefully, sometimes they have stains or tears. The toy area is scary, be careful walking through it! Around Halloween they have rows Znd rows of costumes, and accessories. They have some pet stuff, some home decos, books, a little bit of everything. The crowds get pretty big on weekends. They have different sale days. Seniors get 30% on Tues, I don't know the rest, but if you bring a bag of donations they give you a punch card to get savings. I find things to use in the garden, and to refinish. Furniture used to be inexpensive, however there has been a steady rise. Blech. Parking is more than sufficient, and easy to get in and out of the parking lot. read more

Though there is a ample amount of stuff to buy, the prices are not indicative of thrift shops. I think the prices are set for sale events where everything is 50% off.
