First of all, the food was amazing! Fresh pizza, salad, etc. When they served us our pizza, they apologized for an only slightly wonky cut, then gave us ANOTHER pizza, for FREE! We didn't even ask them too. Best pizza place I've ever been too. read more

We ordered a custom pizza for pick up! The crust was great, the marinara very tasty, the toppings were sufficient & the cheese was generous! My husband, who picked it up, said the staff was friendly & the restaurant looked clean & tidy! Yummmy! read more

Poor choice of a wanna- be breadsticks, And no meatsauce! Not alot of Italian options.

Savelli's is a comfortable, family friendly local pizza spot. The pizza and pasta are both totally good, not the best you've had in your life by any means, but pretty universally likable. All of the people working were super nice, and they kept the place looking really clean and ready for its next guests. The eggplant parmesan is a highlight, and the salads are generously sized. If you're looking for a local pizza spot that'll work for you and your kids without breaking the bank, Savelli's is an easy pick in Manitou Springs. read more

We were staying at the hotel next door on the beginning of a one week motorcycle trip. Luckily one of the guys made a reservation for us, since there was 13 in our group. We walked in on a Saturday night at 5:30 and they had our table all ready! Big kudos for that. It's a charming restaurant and everyone was super friendly. Our waitress was in top of her game and was very efficient all night. It's more of a pizza restaurant but there are Italian options. I decided on the penne pasta in Alfredo sauce with chicken added. I started with the biggest side salad I've ever been served. Absolutely amazing! Loved every bite of it. The pasta was very tasty and it didn't take any longer than I hoped for to serve a large table. A very nice place for some good food! read more

I was fortunate enough to stay right across the street, so I figure I'd walk over and try it out, and I couldn't have been happier! The pizza is to die for, they have a small selection of local craft beer, and the service was incredible, everyone had a big ole smile. I'd highly recommend stopping in to Savelli's if you're ever visiting this adorable mountain town. read more

Service was a little slow on a busy Saturday evening rush but our pizza was worth the wait. Some people were disgruntled and rude but the employees were pretty graceful at dealing with them. I went with a large group of 10, several picky young eaters- they we are happy and satisfied after their food arrived. All of the pizzas we ordered were traditional crust- I would go back here again. read more

Walking in it was a case of "not my job" for a to go order. I told them I walked and would be staying to pick it up. They forgot me. I did order a sub and fries - no condiments or napkins even though I waited double (40 minutes) and had to ask for my food. One of my worst experiences in a long time. read more

Only service dogs are allowed - so not pet friendly. No outdoor eating area. Had to wait for our pizza on an outside bench and then bring it across the street to a park to eat. read more

I'm not saying Savelli's makes you feel like you're back in Italy, but hey, it's not too bad for Manitou Springs! We started with mozzarella sticks, which were your standard-issue cheese logs, but then came the real star: the lasagna with a meatball on the side. Let me tell you, that meatball deserves its own fan club. My wife went with the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and she was grinning like she'd just discovered pasta for the first time. The vibe is casual and cozy--more "small mountain town Italian" than "Roman holiday," but that's part of the charm. Service was friendly, the table was spotless, and the staff treated us like regulars even though it was our first visit. Ok If I had to give them an award, it'd be "Best Meatball in Manitou." Seriously--no matter what you order, get a meatball. Trust me, you'll thank me later (probably while loosening your belt a notch). read more

Came all the way from California! Visiting on a family trip. All I can say Amazing place, amazing food and very helpful and welcoming staff. Easy menu and great aesthetics. 10/10 would recommend. Price is ridiculous. Paid 70 dollars for an 18" special and a 12" cheese. Was definitely worth 28 dollars. I guess the prices are set for California tourists or something. Pizza is Okay, nothing special. We are local and won't be back since the prices have skyrocketed read more

Very clean and excellent choice of music to add to the ambiance. Great place to stop in Manitou to get a full Italian dinner or tasty pizza . Lots of takeout pizza biz. Service is fast and friendly. Salad was fresh and tasty!! Fresh veg and crispy chicken. Not really into onions in sauce, but sauce was delicious. Will be trying a pizza next time. Parking is ok, but might park on street next time. read more

Located right off the main road in Manitou, Savelli's is a great spot to dine after a long hike or if you're just sightseeing. I stopped in there with my family of 5 the other day. We received awesome service. There was plenty of seating. The inside reminds me of a classic pizzeria from my childhood - perfect for a casual meal out. We ordered pizza and fries - both were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to others. read more

My daughter and I went there last night and she ordered a pasta dish with chicken and penne and sauce and it was so dry and no flavor and I ordered a 10 inch pizza and it just wasn't all tha, my daughter and I used to have mommy daughter dates and go over there eat when she was younger and we really enjoyed ourselves and the food was good... i'm so disappointed our waiter was really pleasant and I still love the atmosphere in there but not so much the food read more

The free parking lot was a great start, as we finished our hike at Manitou Incline and that was a requirement for us to have. The menu offered a nice selection of pizza, pasta, and salads. I opted for a pizza, and it arrived quickly. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. Inside gives mom and pop feel. It's also incredibly affordable. read more

The pizza is just okay I'd get it in a pinch because I live in manitou but whatever you do don't get there subs I paid like 14 bucks for an Italian sub and I got for that was a sub roll with with one single piece of thin ham and 8 slices of pepperoni and one single piece of cheese and a bag of chips haven't felt that ripped off in quite some time I'd have given this a one star review but the girl who served us was very nice so that's worth something read more

Greeted promptly and server Abby was delightful. Food was a mixed result. We had pepperoni pizza, pretty traditional except sauce is sweeter than we have had before. Chicken parmigiana had potential but it was not very warm and the sauce on the spaghetti noodles was very bitter (totally different than the pizza sauce). Family salad was good. Lots of black olives and onions and the cheese crumbles added a nice flavor and texture. Overall good experience and would recommend it. read more

I LOVE this pizza. I am going to dump my girlfriend and marry this pizza. The problem with Yelp is that you can't give something more than 5 stars because this place deserves it. I'm visiting the area and I came here right after completing the Manitou Incline. My friend and I chose this because it has great reviews. I'm so glad we did, and what a reward after doing the Incline. I'm from Northwest Indiana and we have GREAT pizza, and I don't mind saying I'm a pizza snob. Been living in LA for 30 years and the pizza in LA sucks. This pizza rocks! Don't change a thing! read more

What a delightful place. Very friendly. I had the lasagna. Well worth cost. The portion is made for two or one big guy. The bread sticks are dripping with butter and garlic. The place is small and not fancy. Just a great little place read more

We came to Savelli's after hiking around Garden of the Gods. The pizza was delicious. Crust perfect! We got a thin and a hand tossed, margarita and custom mushroom/sausage. My friends and I did a quick sunset hike, ate here, then went back for stargazing so this is a really convenient option for lunch or dinner if you are visiting Garden of the Gods. The service here is also pretty quick and they are also super friendly. I got a thin-crust pizza with peppers and sausage and it was so tasty. I had a lot leftover for the next few days and still tasted great when heated up again. I would definitely come back if I was in the area. read more

So good! Stopped by on vacation. Kids loved it. Wife and I loved it! Kids actually ate the crust!!!

Tried to call ahead to order a pizza for dinning in and was told it was against their policy. I then asked if we could order a pizza to go and eat it there and was told it was against their policy. My policy is I will never patronize your establishment again. Extremely poor customer service . read more

Went when it was fairly empty, only one other table was there and we were seated behind them and it was no big deal. Then, a slightly larger family with kids were seated next to us at a four top when there were 5 of them, so one had to sit in a chair in the aisle next to us. The kids were kids and a bit loud/restless which was fine, but I found it an odd choice to seat them in that small space when the other side of the restaurant was completely empty and had more room for them. The area we were in was like a little nook at the side of the restaurant. The pizza was good, but we ordered the peanut butter pie to go. Unfortunately, I didn't open it until we got back to the hotel and found it was a single slice. The biggest problem? It was like $12. For that price we thought it would at least be a mini pie or a large homemade slice or something. Instead, it was a dinky sliver of a frozen pie like the kind where you can get an entire frozen pie for less than the price of that single slice. Go for the pizza pie, not the dessert pie. read more

If you are in Manitou Springs, Savelli's is at the light where Business route US 24 intersects Crystal Park Road. We stopped in for an early dinner on a weekday afternoon and found only one other party seated inside. We were greeted promptly and ushered to a nice booth overlooking the intersection. The server (Angela) came by pretty quickly to deliver menus, take our drink order, and ask if we had any questions about the menu. Savelli's is more than a pizza joint, though they do a steady business filling take-out orders. We saw a stream of cars drive up, park, pick up an order, then drive off. Pizza offerings are encompassing and explained clearly on their menu and big board behind the counter. We went for entrés instead of pizza--stuffed shells and a dinner-size Caesar salad. The food tasted very good, though the shells were tepid, rather than piping hot. The other main knock on the meal was how long it took them to fill bring our food to the table. It was about 25 minutes for what seems to one a fairly simple meal. Certainly worth a try if you are in town. Can't go wrong with takeout pizza. And if you decide to sit down, know it may be a while before your meal is served. read more
