Pizza was authentic and top quality ingredients. Exceptional taste! If I was a local, this would be my go-to for pizza. It's kind of off the beaten path, but we found it so others can, too. Highly recommend.

Pizza to go with artichoke, sausage, roasted red pepper , red onion , mushroom , tomatoes and mozzarella cheese ( ask for it to be well done ) very filling ( finally caught it open irregular hours )

Friendly owner. The pizza was pretty good, a bit small for $20. I added some Italian seasoning and garlic powder when I got home because I prefer a bit more flavor. However, I felt like the ingredients were good quality and maybe I'd like it better if I tried some different toppings.

Perhaps the best pizza in all of Colorado. A hidden gem. Only pizza I buy nowadays. 6 stars.

I hail from the east coast. We relo'd to Colorado 2 years ago. I have been on the hunt for genuine…read moreeast coast pizza, not thick crust, not greasy, just the New York style, thin crust so it flops when you pick it up and you have to fold it, well-seasoned tomato sauce and cheese. I had given up - hey I know I moved to a state that's not east coast and I just figured pizza was one of those things I'll have to miss. Not anymore - I found the genuine New York slices as this location today. We had great service and were served quickly, and the garlic knots were also legit. We will def be back and we were going to return and order an entire pie to go so I could stash it in our freezer - but we ended up having a family emergency and having to leave Manitou. But we will definitely, definitely be back!

I tried the spicy combo option - pizza with jalapenos + the hot knots. For a comical $6.66 it filled me up enough to fuel taking my son and niece to the penny arcade. Not a penny these days, by the way... This is a hole in the wall style restaurant, so seating is fairly limited. Not great for a group of 20, but fantastic for everything else. There was only one fella working the oven, front, and every other hat, but he knocked out order after order with efficiency. Worth a visit! My new go-to for quick eats in Manitou Springs.

Everything at Pizzeria Rustica is both high quality and delicious but be warned that it is a bit…read morepricey. The two pizzas we had were the Rustica and the Verdure. The base of both of these pizzas are excellent, being the crust and the sauce. The crust is thin with some black char on the bottom. The char adds a lot of flavor that enhances the whole pizza. The crust edge is also well seasoned and has a nice chew to it. Additionally, we had some of the garlic truffle oil that we could dip our crust into and this was a must. The crust is good without it but with it is spectacular. The sauce is what you expect from a San Marzano tomato sauce, thin, light and sweet. It tastes so fresh. What was lacking the most for me was the toppings. They didn't really stand out or make the pizza so much better. On the Rustica the ricotta does make a big impact on those bites but the prosciutto didn't do much. I like the arugula but it's overwhelming especially texture wise. Nothing on the Verdure was that impressive either. The tiramisu is a heavy hitter with the amaretto soaked lady fingers really packing a punch in every bite. One of my favorite tiramisu's in the city. The pizzas and tiramisu are both delicious and I will be back, but with a price of $20 for a fairly small pizza, this will have to be somewhere I only come occasionally.

This place has a lovely patio with outside seating lit up with string lights. Really cute. I didn't…read morelove the metal chairs and table, but it was still nice. We got the antipasto that came with salami, prosciutto, cubed cheese, olives, cold grilled carrot and squash, a couple of pieces of pita and a couple of slices of polenta. It was okay. We also shared a Regina Margherita pie. It was soggy and The grated parm overpowered everything. I hardly tasted the sauce or the fire roasted tomatoes.
