This store I know it for quality on their produce and Bakery. They do have a variety of ready to take food. This time we needed rostisery chicken to make some chicken sandwiches. My mother in law live their dinner rolls of bolillos from there to make them. So we got the chicken the bread, the tomatoes, onions and cilantro to make the pico de gallo. Also some dessert. We got some cookies. The possibilities are endless if you haven make up your mind about what you want to eat. Pay them a visit and I am sure you are going to come out with something good from there. The chicken sandwiches were delicious. They do have sales every week. Different items. Also the chicken they baked or u should say roast they have different flavors. We got the smoked one. I really like save mart it's my home store. Everybody that works there it's so helpful and kind and they always have a smile in their face, they also assist you with your groceries to the car, even if it's raining. I also really like that they sell chicken fried chicken, roasted chickens. but I really would recommend that they order more cake supplies. There's a lot of people that order at the last minute. I went in looking for creme fraiche, which isn't really that rare or unique of an item. Upon asking one of the workers there whether they had it, they began to laugh at me and ask whether it really existed and if so, why would it be carried at there. No joke. After a few more minutes of their giggles, I decided to give up on the creme fraiche and just get the other items on my grocery list. As I was about to leave, the same serial giggler stock person came to me, saying that creme fraiche does exist (thanks for that), and they do carry it. And then handed it to me, along with $10.00 off my final checkout, which was thoughtful, but really didn't do much to make me feel better about the whole situation. At bottom, if you're in the Reedley/Dinuba/Kingsburg area, you're much better off at a mom and pop shop or local grocery store than this Savemart. read more

Ordered my brothers 21st Birthday cake with his business logo for his birthday party. I sent the order online a few days in advance. I show up for my scheduled pick up time to find out they didn't make the cake. They stated they never got the online order. When I had my order number and proof I submitted it. Ordered a tres leches cake last month from the bakery and it was the worst. Ordered it in black, silver and gold and for it to have swirls. The bakery contacted me day of pick to confirm my order/details. When I picked up, the cake had no swirls, they used yellow instead of gold and it had no silver. The writing was horrific and it had to be tossed as it was leaking and not hardened at all not to mention it was not smothed out at all and was very textured and sloppy looking. I used to have a 5 star review for Save Mart. We would often skip cheaper prices at the big stores in Fresno just to shop at Save Mart here in Reedley. At Christmas time, that all changed. We ordered a wing platter from the deli, as we had many times before. This time, however, in the ranch dressing found a large piece of plastic. After pulling it from the ranch dressing found out that it was the top of the ranch dressing bottle. During COVID times, it was quite concerning to have the top of a bottle in our food. I called at first to just inform them of the mishap and was stunned at the response I received from the employee. Her response was, "What do you want? That pice is so small. What do you want me to do?" Never, did I receive a sorry or even a "thank you so much for letting us know so we can be a bit more careful next time." She was clearly annoyed that I called to tell them. Not to mention I spent almost $40 on this food that we were clearly not going to eat. Of course, we lost our appetite after finding this cap in our food. So, I asked to speak with a Manager and this clearly was NOT the thing to ask for. The response was even worse from the manager. That was THE WORST customer service we have ever had! I will NEVER shop there again. We now go to the big stores in different towns, or smaller stores just to avoid shopping there. It's so sad that with everything going on the customer service skills of public employees has definitely decreased. If you don't like to deal with the public, including a mistake your employees made, maybe being in public service isn't the place for you?? read more

I had called and ordered a cake from here and let them know my biggest concern was that it would be a LOL cake they took my order and said they could do LOL I told them my daughters name and even spelled it out letter by letter the day of my daughters birthday they call me less than an hour before the pickup time and tell me "we're trying to figure out what to do with your cake call us back" so I can and they inform me they don't have anything LOL and they don't know how it happened and why they took the order without telling me because they haven't had anything LOL for a while so the next best thing they can do is just make the color scheme of LOL I agree and ask if I will still be charged the extra $5 for the decorations they tell me no so I am running around trying to find my own cake decorations to put ontop, when my wife goes to pick up the cake they still charged her the $5 and they even miss spell my daughters name I'm very disappointed with my purchase here and I will for sure never buy a cake from them again my wife even told me how they were rude when she went to pick up which I'm sure they were as they weren't the nicest people over the phone save your money and go somewhere that cares for their customers because this place obviously doesn't. read more

Nobody in their right mind would tell you to eat the often rotting produce in this store, so you're off the hook! At last! And we all know the myth of expiration dates. They're more suggestions than anything. Eating expired food puts hair on your chest...toughens you up. So don't worry that plenty of what sits on the shelves is past its expiration date. If your wallet is getting cumbersome because it has too much money in it, Save Mart can help with that, too. Some of their prices are competitive. A few even undercut their competitors. But for the most part you will be paying well more at Save Mart than you would almost anywhere else, thus lowering those pesky dollars that are cluttering up your life. It's a heavy burden to bear, but Save Mart does it for their customers. But the best part about Save Mart is how they know you have crap else to do, so they will sap every last minute out of your day. Sure they have plenty of registers, but for your convenience they will rarely have more than one or two open. You're virtually guaranteed a Disneyland-style wait but without the annoying fun ride at the end of it. And the one overworked bagger probably won't be available to bag your groceries, so you'll get to wait as the checker bags the groceries of each customer after ringing them up. Truly a delight. When I'm retired I'm going to shop at Save Mart every dang day. It will fill my days, alleviating the boredom. It will empty my bank account so I won't have to worry about a will. And I've decided I'm going to stop trying to eat healthy by then, so no vegetables is no problem. I have been a customer of Save Mart for 40+ years. It has the fresshhessst vegetables than any other grocery store in town. Also has the most variety of food items to choose from and I have never found any food that has an expired date on it and believe me I always check! I have nothing bad to say about the service there, It has always been great. I trust Save Mart completely for all my grocery shopping. Yes the prices may be slightly higher than other stores, but I don't mind that because I can feel at ease Knowing I am buying fresh non expired food. Love that they have a deli, bakery + flowers it has it all! So well deserving of a 5 star rating. Save Mart is simply the best grocery store in Reedley by far! Great job management!! I won ten dollars on a scratcher, and after talking to a representive from the state lottery, they still were like No my problem, and I was there for thirty minutes. I always shop at Town and Country and only once or twice a month I come to this Save Mart. Like all other Save Marts, vegetables and fruit are more expensive than other local supermarkets. Nonetheless, the store has some stuff that other local supermarkets don't, and that's why I come here. The two things I don't like this store are (1) smell of the store: as soon as you get inside, you will notice that the smell of grilled chicken waffles the entrance area. And it's all day everyday. The smell makes me nauseous. I don't know how the employees deal with this smell during their working hours. But this is not a big deal. (2) cashiers are too slow and always crowded. This is the most critical point and this is the reason why I am writing the review for the supermarket for the first time. Cashier is too slow! I usually spend 10-15 min for shopping, then I have to wait 10-15 min for cashier. Always slow: I have been here different day of the week, different hour, but always takes time waiting in line. The longest minutes I had to wait in line was 21 minutes, while I finished shopping for less than 5 min. Slow cashier is the pain in the neck, and I am always reluctant to come here because of this. And this second part is the reason I put 1 star. read more

I bought two 10$ number balloons and when we went to go take pictures, one flew away! It got loose from its rope and it just flew off. We still have the rope with us so it wasn't our fault that it just flew off. When we went to go get another one the lady laughed in our faces and told us there was nothing she could do. When we explained the situation, she eventually led us to the back, with an eye roll, and gave us a new balloon. This experience was the first bad thing that happened to me while shopping at Savemart. Needless to say, I probably won't be going back anytime soon. read more
